“this earlier post my awning was delivered on time however, there was not one bit of information for the installation at all. Luckily the man we hired was able to figure it out. Great! Not Great!!!! The motor of the awning DOES NOT WORK!!!! I've called several times people have promised to return my calls...nothing. I've emailed nothing!!!! What terrible customer service! Walk don't run away from this company. Lower prices are just a gimmick for luring customers to buy. But no service after that. One star is too many> Now, another month has gone by and still no call from anyone from this company...How in the heck do I get help.”

“No answer to the phone, multiple calls and long waits with no answer. All wasted time. Ordered a main gate and pedestrian. Had arranged to have everything shipped, particularly the mounting posts with the back-ordered main gate to ship when it arrived. Customer service head wrote a few days later that they could not honour their commitment and wanted an extra $600 for the split shipment. The prices were not as advertised on their Canadian website either, prices were higher and shipping was billed extra despite them claiming it was "free" (or included in the advertised prices). They charged my credit card the full amount immediately with a promise to ship in 2-1/2 months! I ended up cancelling the entire order. 8 days later I'm still waiting to see a refund. Stay away from this disorganised outfit. Bad news!”

“Bought the gearbox to replace the worn out one on our TaylorMade awning. $25 shipped from Aleko vs $60+ from taylorMade was a no brainer. Arrived in 3 days and replacement took about 10 minutes. Fit and finish was as good as TMade original piece. GREAT deal on a great product!”

“This is the second time i have had to replace the plastic gear in the gate actuator for a 600/1200 actuator. I have tried contacting the tech line without a successful answer. The gear is plastic and will not stand up to the torque of the motor. This is a very poor design. The maximum stress point is made of plastic. Not at all happy with ALEKO”
