“So I have been using amazon for the past two years and I have never left a review as I just couldn’t be bothered. For once, I wrote a review as I actually liked the product but then later receiving a message on amazon saying that I won’t be able to post any more reviews as I was violating against the policies. I called them a few times later receiving an e mail saying that I ever the had a relationship with some seller, or I was getting free or discounted stuff and that’s the reason I was posting a good review and also my account had been banned from writing a reiview ever since. What really pisses me off is that there is always a botton there where you can choose to leave a review but when I do, I get a ban. After called them 10 times and speaking to 5 different managers, about a month after the issue. What I got told on the phone was basically, ‘we will not provide you with anymore information, we will not prove anything to you and the decision is final, happy or not, deal with with it’ how bad does it sound? All I asked was, if they are ‘determined’ I was violating against their 3 policies like I have said above, prove it to me that I actually know the seller or I was getting free stuff? But no, I don’t get any and I have to deal with it. The very last manager that I spoke to had a terrible attitude and they don’t treat you like customers.”

“Most of my purchases are from Amazon UK. The are super efficient and delivery is really fast. I have just joined Amazon Prime and it gets better and better with free next day deliveries and many more benifits such as a free kindle book each month Prime Videos with free access to hundreds of films box sets and more. I really buy with confidence when I buy from Amazon and can’t recommend them highly enough.”

“Everything I have ordered has been on time and in the condition advertised. I only worry about the effect on small, independent booksellers, large ones too I suppose. Maybe Amazon should invest in a "normal" physical bookshop in London with decent coffee and friendly people, where you could also order books online?”

“Had a few issues with delivery. Amazon locker was full and I was still infomed until a few hours before estimated delivery that it would be there. The online chat was useless. The chap lied and said there was payment issues with my card - yet other orders shipped. Long story short. Amazon didn't notify me the locker was full - but let me order to that locker. I got the item in the end and it was the wrong colour. So had to send that back and reorder from another seller...and then I got the correct order. Amazon is fine on prices and delivery. Just issues inbetween can make the experience a bit of a train-wreck.”

“Had an issue with a disfunctional item recently and amazon refunded the money to resolve as it was a third party seller. They did this within 6 hrs of me sending the email. On the rare occasions I have had problems with things purchased via amazon (I've used it a lot for over ten years) they are always resolved as promptly and as satisfactorily as the above situation!! Amazing customer service”

“Living on a Greek Island isnt as wonderful as people believe, there are few shops and certainly not as much choice as a big city. Amazon is my life line from printer inks to electronics. They have never let me down and if there has been a fault or problem Amazon have great customer service with delivery to most places..”

“I order regularly from Amazon and find Prime is getting better, more products available for nest day (or same day). Recent purchase of Samsung S9 phone cover and protector arrived same afternoon. I like customer services, always able to help, offer a solution and on the odd occasion I've had to, had no problems returning or getting my money back. Service is great, ordering so quick and simple.”
