Amazon a to z guarantee for peace of mind utter garbage.I am disabled and because my walking getting worse i have a damaged spine and M.S i decided to look for a mobility scooter one caught my eye on amazon it was a self folding lightweight but was £1725 but i noticed other sellers from china were selling at £985 i was a bit dubious but was backed by the amazon a to z guarantee peace of mind RIGHT? as it turns out no very WRONG.I ordered the scooter 28th april after few days was sent a tracking number was to be delivered between 12th may and 17th may,on 16th of may i still had not been sent a notification the carrier would be delivering so i contacted the seller he replied dear friend i have contacted the courier and its still in transit wait another couple days,on 18th i contacted amazon smelling a large rat the tracking number only worked on china post and said the unit no mention of what it was was delivered on 9th may to unknown address? the first agent i spoke to tried to find carrier information but could not although was established was supposed to be delivered by DHL he then sent message to seller saying the tracking was faulty i got another message from seller saying he had talked to courier and was sorting out, adifferent customer service agent tried to make sense of the tracking each time this was being passed up to senior members of staff to investigate obviously were on tea breaks throughout all this sorry episode, she then said she would make an A to Z claim this was on the 23rd may on 24th i got a reply back which deeply upset me it said AFTER A COMPLETE INVESTIGATION AN TALKING TO THE CARRIER WE BELIEVE YOUR PARCEL WAS DELIVERED TO THE CORRECT ADDRESS.(this has since been proved to be absolute bull)i was in shock they also said i should contact police and get a crime number,i luckily am not like many disabled who would just lose the money rather than fight even though stressful.i sent them a stinking email asking who were the carrier as had not been officially shared with me?when was it delivered i:e date to me where was copy of my signature for scooter? why did DHL not send me intention of delivery notification?they did not reply to this request i spoke to their customer care agent who had phoned me back next day as she had promised she sent message to seller saying he promised to refund and should do so she sent me a confirmation of this i got that at 2-30 am at 6 am got another AtoZ bull email saying they had lookied into same as last time and was still sure on 24th i contacted my bank they could not beleive rubbish amazon giving and said wait till 29th and they would issue a charge back application and as was told was almost certain to succeed.i did some further digging through EMS tracking and found my scooter was delivered to MK18 1EG which is in hunter street BUCKINGHAM 74.2 miles from my home address no further tracking information was available????????? i have been constantly telling the useless company amazon it seems a SCAM is running under their noses there are currently 11 sellers all from china all new sellers selling the scooter at vastly undercosted prices.in fact my partner did not know i had ordered this scooter and as its my birthday 30th june has ordered one for me to arrived between 18th-28th june at the unbeleivable price of £498 plus £1 p/p from an amazon chinese seller i have passed this information on to amazon i told the agent who was helping when been proved i had not received this item as i was accused of basicly stealing i expected amazon to issue you me a full full apology from a senior manager from the A to Z team did i hell on 27th may i got a message saying we have granting me a refund and telling me would be credited to my card a PATHETIC response from AN AROGANT COMPANYwho laughingly bills thereself as building the most customer centric comany the truth is vastly different not a single word of apology for the stress their incompetent company had made me endure for days i phoned them informed them i was considering going to press over this injustice the manager of customer care did apologise but said the A to Zdepartment would not do so she then insultingly offered me £20 for all the hours i had put into fighting this and my frustration, i told her to stick it.i wonder if AMAZON will actually read this and reach out i think odds about 985 to 1 lol.but the moral is dont trust AMAZON A to Z and DEFINATELY do not spend more than you can afford to lose on AMAZON who are clearly CON ENABLERS as long as they get their cut

Dear Amazon Customer Service, I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and disappointment with the level of service I have received regarding my recent order of a new monitor. I must emphasize that my experience with Amazon's customer service has been nothing short of abysmal. On June 14, 2023, I placed an order for a monitor as my girlfriend had to fly into the UK due to a family emergency. Unfortunately, my mother had been taken to the hospital, and my girlfriend needed to work remotely, which necessitated the urgent purchase of the monitor. Understanding the urgency of the situation, I relied on Amazon's reputation for reliable and efficient delivery services. However, to my utter dismay, the monitor failed to arrive on the promised delivery date. Frustrated and concerned, I immediately contacted Amazon's customer service on Sunday, June 15. I expressed my extreme dissatisfaction and disappointment, highlighting the urgency of the situation and the need for the monitor to be delivered promptly. I vividly remember expressing my hope that I would not be having the same conversation with your representatives the following day. Much to my disappointment, not only did I receive no resolution or explanation, but I also did not receive any response from Amazon regarding my concerns. It is profoundly disheartening to witness such a lack of professionalism and disregard for customer grievances. I find it incredulous that Amazon would send several delivery updates only to fail to deliver as clearly outlined. Moreover, the lack of accountability and responsiveness from Amazon's customer service department is simply unacceptable. It is as if your customer service team operates on the moon, far removed from the realities of timely deliveries and customer satisfaction. The inability to address my concerns, coupled with the repeated failed deliveries, has left me both profoundly disappointed and infuriated. As a long-standing customer, I have come to expect a certain level of service and reliability from Amazon. However, this recent experience has shattered my confidence in the brand. I implore you to rectify this situation immediately by ensuring the prompt delivery of my monitor today. Additionally, I request a formal explanation for the repeated delivery failures and an apology for the lack of response from your customer service team. If this matter is not resolved satisfactorily, I will have no choice but to reconsider my future purchases from Amazon and share my unfortunate experience with friends, family, and on various online platforms. I trust that you will take my concerns seriously and take immediate steps to rectify this situation.

Amazon deleted ALL of my reviews because I left a bad review on Lord of the Rings, Rings of Power. I am no longer allowed to leave reviews on the site. Customer service have done nothing, on several contacts, and are worse than useless. I am no longer subsribing after 15 years of Prime membership. What a horrendous way to treat a loyal customer. If you do want to review, do not review their precious TV show, at least not honestly, Amazon cannot take the criticism.

Personally, I've had enough of rubbish being delivered, return refunds taking up to 30 days and he endless difficulties trying to sort the issues. Back to the shops for me. Too much wasted time on internet which was designed to "Save time"? That statement was pure muppetry!

I was really looking forward to getting a new mattress through Amazon as a Prime member. However, my order was canceled for no reason, and I had to talk to one of their customer service agents. The agent apologized for the mix-up and told me to place a new order for the same mattress. But here's where it gets fishy: the price of the mattress had gone up by 65 quid. The agent said not to worry, and that I'd get a refund for the price difference, and I believed them. They even messaged me saying, "I’ve requested an amount of GBP 64.01 to the original payment method. It should be deposited by your bank/card provider within the next 5-7 business days with no issues." Unfortunately, I never received the promised refund, even after calling Amazon a week later. I can't believe that an Amazon customer service associate would lie to me like that. As a Prime member, I expect better service from Amazon. Just be careful when dealing with their customer service.

I have not received a parcel (value £119.99). Amazon claim that it was handed to a resident at the delivery address. This is a lie. They will not refund me unless I file a police report. I have contacted the police who will not file a report because Amazon have no proof that it was delivered to me therefore Amazon is the victim of any crime not me. Amazon's "proof" is the order number, a delivery confirmation email and a tracking ID number. None. I have lost £119.99 and can do nothing about it. I am looking into legal action against them.

If I could give negative stars I would. Amazon customer service is appalling. Amazon has scammers in China operating on its Marketplace and simply doesn't seem to care. These scammers are advertising relatively expensive products with 3-4 weeks delivery time. On placing an order they respond with delivery shipped and tracking. Once the 3-4 weeks delivery time expires they send a message saying product isn't available with varying excuses. Of course by this time they've held you money for 3-4 weeks and it then takes a further 3 days or so for the refund via amazon to paid back to your account. I dread to think how many times this is happening on amazon and the total amount of money involved. When you arrange for a customer services call back from amazon you simply get a lowly call centre operative with zero interest in what's going on, stating idiotic things like "well your refund is being processed". Too low in the food chain to even understand the problem. When you ask to speak to a manager or raise a complaint against amazon you get the answer that it is not possible. Wow, get that! It's just not possible to raise a complaint against amazon!

I ordered and paid for a Brooks women's flyer S saddle advertised on Amazon UK in April 2022. It was advertised at the price of £86.0 and being sold by Amazon EU. Up till now after numerous chatbot conversation with Amazon UK, I have not received delivery of this item! Can you believe it! The last conversation I recently had with a real person who works for Amazon UK, they told me that the sale had been cancelled and my money refunded in October 2022. This information was not showing up on the Amazon app. On the Amazon app all it said was 'we'll email you with a date when the item is available '. I am disgusted with the way Amazon UK has dealt with and treated me 😡. They cannot be trusted with people's accounts. They cannot be trusted full stop! Now, the only thing I get is the Audible audio books. I cancelled my Prime subscription and don't buy anything online from Amazon. I uninstalled their app from my phone after logging out of it

What a disgusting customer experience and nobody at Amazon Customer Service seems to care. I have pre-ordered and paid in advance for an item as a birthday gift. There was no stock and they would update me as soon as it was ready to dispatch. A few days later I checked and there was 10 available but the price triplicated. I contacted customer service who apologised for the inconvenience caused, escalated to the dispatching department, offered me a £5 voucher and assured me it was going to be dispatched in 3-5 days. I believed them and promised my nephew he was going to have his gift soon. The days passed and I contacted them again who again apologised and asked me for another 48h. Time passed and today when I contacted them the conversation was completely different. They said there was still no stock (even though I checked days ago and the stock was available), asked me to wait until become available again and said I could cancel if I didn't want to wait. Apologised for the previous conversations being incorrect and that's it. Really? How frustrating! I was misled and lied to by two previous advisors who rest assured me it was their mistake and it was going to be resolved asap? And now no expected delivery dates, no resolution for the problem they caused and I am left with nothing. My money with them. And having to tell my nephew he is not going to have his present anymore. Disgusting the whole thing.

No doubt you've already heard the stories of the appalling way Amazon treats its staff and prevents unionisation, its patent on the obvious 1-click purchasing feature, killing off local bookshops, remotely deleting paid content from users' Kindle devices, its terrible track record on pollution, anti-competitive operations, treating LGBTIQA+ books as "adult content", and squeezing sellers. Well now you can add "deleting reviews that are unfavourable to racist and misogynistic pseudoscientific authors" to the list. I'd been a customer for about 18 years, used most of their services at different times, and had written many reviews, almost all of which had many "helpful" votes attached to them. And it was me who convinced my family to get Amazon accounts. I dread to think how much money I've put into Bezos's back pocket during the last 18 years or so. I then left a review on the worst book I've ever read in my life pointing out some of the myriad problems with the it. A few months later it was deleted with only a perfunctory notification email with a broken link to their guidelines. No mention of which review or why, I had to sit through a 35 minute chat with three different "customer service" representatives to try and find out why, and all they said was they would email me. I then had to have an email exchange with someone else to finally get to the bottom of the issue. Long story short: Amazon don't allow customers to leave "spiteful" reviews. And, apparently, calling a racist and misogynistic pseudoscience book exactly what it is will be considered by Amazon's employees as being "spiteful" towards the author. Their various one-line responses were all signed with "Your feedback is helping us build Earth's Most Customer-Centric Company." I think maybe someone needs to explain the definition of the words "spiteful" and "customer-centric" to Amazon. Based on these interactions it's clear that only positive reviews are allowed on Amazon. I've now deleted my Amazon account and will be taking my Kindle to the local CEX shop to exchange it for a Kobo tomorrow. I'd like to congratulate Amazon on having the absolute worst policies of any company I've ever had to deal with (vehemently defending dead, racist authors) and the absolute worst customer service ever to boot (pushing long-time customers directly to their competition). Well done Amazon, well done.

Sent a return back as I didn't like the item. Used the drop off at post office no packaging/label needed option. Took to the post office where they scanned the provided QR code on my phone and put my return in an amazon bag and applied the return label. Told that was it and it'll be updated on my phone in a couple of hours. After one week contacted Amazon as still haven't received my refund or been updated on my phone, was told and sent email that they have my return at there distribution centre but it can take up to 14 days to process the refund.......fair enough. 14 days passes still no refund! This time I contact amazon and say they don't have my parcel and I should contact the police and disconnect the chat. Very blunt and rude so contacted them back and got someone else who said the same, but now allow 30 days for them to conduct an investigation into the matter. 30 days passes and still nothing, contacted them again to be told we carnt help you any further and disconnect the chats. Annoyed by this I phone this time to be told the same, get a receipt from the post office so they can investigate. Been in contact with the post office that say they processed the return according to amazon instructions and they don't keep records/receipts as its all digital/scanned now to amazon instructions and sent off. They are more than happy to confirm this with amazon but they don't want to know and dismiss it every time. I've been lied and fobbed off to for over 30 days by amazon and made to feel like a theif. They have done no investigation into the matter and now washed their hands off it cause its passed 30 days. They keep asking for a receipt but there is NO receipt! its all digital QR codes the way there system works. It was scanned at the post office cause I saw him do it. But Amazon say they have no record which is a lie because i have proof from the amazon assistant they have it in an email. Amazon have clearly lost it, not scanned it and blaming me for it. Amazon clearly don't value or respect there customers no more, as can been seen from all the other bad reviews, and no disentsy to respond to them. The computer says no - Amazon motto I advise everyone to do the same as me and send your complaints to BBC WATCHDOG and citizens advice bureau for them to look into. SHAME ON YOU AMAZON!

Disgraceful lack of service Amazon failed to deliver 2 orders but falsely alleged delivery. When I called for a refund, they claimed they were unable to verify me and could not assist. I have therefore raised a dispute with my bank to get the money refunded. Amazon’s online automated system is just as bad as the humans they employ – it is impossible to claim a refund because the system keeps claiming it was delivered. The photo of the delivery address is not even my property! Now I understand why Amazon has such a low rating on Trustpilot. The orders Amazon failed to deliver were 20247910536610724 and 20227824599525108 Meanwhile I am directing my business to Amazon’s competitors, I doubt I will order with them again as it’s not worth the hassle of being scammed

add a delivery from Amazon today and and the driver driver did not even get out of his van He parked outside sat in the driving seat spoke on the phone and was there for five minutes before I went and opened my front door to see if he was OKAY but he then looked at me turned the van around and drove off without even looking for the product which were supposed to be in his van according to the Amazon app He then later returned 5 minutes later but this time he gave me 2 cables for the item that add Ons for my main item that I had just bought for my son's Christmas present the item was a new PC at the cost of around over 500 pounds and the second time the guy came asked him where the PC was and he says he had not got it on board his van but I will go back and get it for you and will be with you by 9 o'clock there the rarest with your PC I didn't give him the code that was given to me to give on delivery and a drove off i'm looking at Amazon's website the driver had deliberately put on delivery attempt no but they answered the door and was there at 2:50 the thing is our nerve could eat river to cable to me at 2:55 and not give me the computer at the same time this is when he told me he did not have it on board but he did not apologise just as I will return with it before 9 which of course he never did so I was made to look like the one at fault when in fact I was talking to him outside and were not the one at fault i'd also open the front door the first time and were waiting for him to come out of his van and never and never did
