“Have been waiting in all morning for the delivery. Just seen the card slipped through the door 'sorry we missed you'. YOU DIDN'T MISS ME, YOU FAILED TO KNOCK ON THE DOOR. UNACCEPTABLE POOR SERVICE.”

“It has one of the best customer services out there. The few times I've had order problems, there's always been someone there to talk to directly and resolve, unlike many current online shops that rely purely on ticketing systems or email forms to correspond with customers (with mixed results, depending on the shop).”

“I`ve made purchases for Christmas and now I`ve found that €135 was set on hold on Amazon for my purchases. I`ve been purchasing in Amzon for years. this is the first time something like that happened. They just crashed my budget for christmas. Now I can`t buy gift for my other child because of Amazon. I contacted thei customer care and they redirected me to call my bank and my bank is redirecting me to contact Amazon. Guys if you don`t want have such amounts charged on your debit card dont buy from Amazon. Amazon fu**cked our Christmas !!!!”

“NOT HAPPY!! Purchased the Asus FX504 described as having Intel Optane and Fast HDD (Firecuda) Didn't have either. So finally got them to agree a refund (£600+) .. Packaged collected within couple of days, then disappeared within Hermes, and chasing amazon uk they tell me in the small print it says they can tale up to TWO weeks once they receive the item before authorising the refund, which as we all know they use "Working Days" as an excuse to hang on to the funds. I did point out that they are a 24/7/363 company who take funds from customers on "NON Working Days"!! Last time I'll spend over £50 at amazon”

“Parcels are always delivered quickly thanks to prime next day delivery except in the case of book pre-orders I've made. On more then 5 occasions in the past year, when I've had a pre-order on a book with Amazon I have been kept waiting for it to be delivered for a long time (the worst was three months passed the release date). I'm not sure if it's because they don't get enough of the first prints sometimes to meet their pre-order obligations but the mentally of just cancel your order if it doesn't arrive is irritating concidering on more then one occasion the first print has sold out and I then have to wait for the second print. I have heard this is also an issue with some video game pre-orders as well. So a word of warning to those pre-ordering books from Amazon, be prepared for a 1/3 chance of waiting past the release date for your pre-order or having to cancel the order to quickly find it elsewhere.”

“Amazon stock a huge range of goods at competitive prices. The customer service is excellent on the rare occasions that there are problems. We are Amazon Prime customers, which means that delivery is included, as are the Amazon TV programmes.”
