I don’t know why, may be it’s bad luck. But I’ve ordered a laptop. Paying more than it costs from manufacturers, ordering from amazon due to logistic reasons. Assure it would be the last time I order from amazon. I have been charged. Yet more than a week and still not even estimated delivery time. I have contacted numerous times with support. They will do anything to just leave the chat happy/unhappy supported/unsupported. I wonder how this company got to be a multi billion dollar company. When cannot handle a simple question like what is the estimated time arrival of an product after almost 2 weeks of ordering. And if you don’t have an answer. Say we currently cannot provide. Don’t cover with dummy stories. Worst buying experience ever.

DO NOT subscribe with them!! I have had sooo many problems with amazon, both relating to the same thing. I rang up ages ago to cancel An account as somehow two had been made one with my phone number, one with my email address. So had a few problems but finally managed to get through to someone that merged my accounts together and cancelled the one with my mobile number - which was fine. I’ve now been charged TWO payments for my kindle unlimited subscription, when I went into the chat to find out why they said that the second was authorisation (it wasn’t I could see it deducted from my account) so then I said I will take screenshots and send it over, the first email sent back an automated response saying that the email the woman gave me was a no reply email address. The second one she gave also didn’t work either. They then proceeded to tell me that it was An authorisation Reference and it hadn’t been taken from my account which it had. By this time I had being chatting to them for OVER AN HOUR! with nothing resolved at all. I then spoke to a supervisor that said I have two accounts with them and I needed to give the other email address to cancel the account - I’d never used another email address except my own! So after about half an hour of me repeating the same thing that I can’t access the account as I don’t know the email address and him refusing to give it to me, he wouldn’t cancel the direct debit so now I am stuck with two direct debits each month for the same thing one of them being from an account I’ve never even used and should’ve been cancelled (if it’s the same account as the time before this happened) SO TWO HOURS LATER, nothing has been resolved at all, just that I’m going to have to ring up my bank and cancel the direct debit and probably not get refunded for the payment that I never signed up for.. The customer service is absolutely ridiculous!!! If I could give 0 stars I would

Trustpilot reviews Categories My Reviews My Settings Help LOG OUT Alternate Text Ellen GB For companies Review of Amazon.co.uk Ellen 2 reviews 1 star: Bad 2 minutes ago DISGUSTED Would have given zero rating Would have given zero if I could, being of the older generation I am self isolating due to COVID 19 my kindle stopped working and I was refused a replacement as warranty expired 2 months earlier and all they kept offering was a 15% discount off a new device which I can not afford, the kindle along with the internet was helping me cope as I live alone. Gutted that they can treat loyal customers this way, and also had they contacted about expiring warranty i would have taken out a further warranty, am disgusted with this

As a Prime customer, I have been experiencing a very critical issue with a high-value order being misdelivered, without signature to a fake name (or at least not anyone in my building). I have spent over 20 hours talking to customer support, their managers and their managers' managers throughout the last 3 weeks. Every conversation is going in circles; their chain of communication is virtually non-existent; let's say their CS representative Mr. X doesn't know what their CS representative Mr. Y said, so you have to explain everything from the beginning every single time, even when being transferred! The best part is when you get conflicting responses from different customer service reps... (sarcasm intended) - such as: we have a delivery signature / we don't have a delivery signature - which then obviously takes extra time to figure out. Some of the managers even had the audacity to close the conversation after I caught them contradicting themselves!! Please stay away from this company. I will be taking legal action against them based on these events and they will pay for everything wrong they've done.

I had ordered on Amazon UK on 11 March. First time ever using Amazon. I reside in China. I used Amazon to buy a birthday gift for my friend in the UK. The gift was supposed to arrive 15 March. Today is 20 March, still have not recieved the item. Contacted Amazon 4 times, via the app as I can't call them from China. Was told over and over that they can only offer me a refund, that the item could be lost and that they have no way of tracking the item or getting hold of the courier service. No one answers my questions as to where my item is, or what is the delay. They keep telling me it could be lost. I can't believe such a big company can lose an item, and worst is that when they lose an item, they are unable to track it. The item is also no longer on sale, so if I refund, I can't purchase it again. And I want that item. It's so embarrassing to explain to my friend that I did actually get him a birthday gift but I have no idea where it is. Amazon blamed DPD, but when I contacted DPD they hadn't received the item yet. The agents tell me they will tell the internal team to sort it out but clearly nothing has been sorted out. No one has contacted me with information, and neither has my friend recieved his birthday gift. I am highly upset. First and last time I will use Amazon UK

What a joke. Ordered Prince 1999 Super Deluxe off Amazon in US and Amazon UK was seller. Paid for expedited shipping. Thought was deal at $68, even cancelled a $99 order from another seller. Big mistake! They never answered my email when item never arrived, and refused to help via chat. Waited forever, and UPS tracking showed a label created and item never shipped. Promised a second time from Amazon US to arrive by 3/13. Nothing! Had to pay $144 now as only available through other sellers. DO NOT order from Amazon UK! Worst seller ever! :(

Rubbish service, lies about delivery of orders and refunds can take forever but they are quick to take your money. Appalling customer service and even poorer quality goods.

I ordered a T shirt from Smarty Pants via Amazon Prime, and the T shirt was at least one size too big and made of extremly poor material. Smarty pants initially said I could return the T shirt, but at my own cost. When I queried them about this, Smarty Pants then said I couldn`t return the T shirt since it had been made to measure. When I reminded Smarty Pants the T shirt had never been made to measure ( or it would not have been at least one size too big), they then said I could return it, but only if I paid for the postage. When I tried to write an honest review giving an accurate account of my experience of Smarty Pants on Amazon (whom I had purchased the T shirt from via Amazon Prime) they refused to print my review, and blocked me from writing any reviews about my experience of Smarty Pants T shirt/ appalling customer service. Although I`ve asked Amazon to give me an explanation for the above, they have refused to get back to me?! One can only assume that Amazon do not wish any negative reviews about companies such as Smarty Pants from whom they are making a sizeable profit by selling their T shirts etc via Amazon prime. In future I will be very cautious about any positive reviews I read on Amazon who seem to be reluctant to print honest negative reviews such as mines, so as not to deplete the profit they make out of companies such as Smarty Pants!
