I've been a customer for years and spend literal thousands of pounds a year on amazon.co.uk My last order was a fitness watch, over 200 pounds which I needed delivered ASAP - so I paid extra for expedited shipping and have a guaranteed delivery day. So this was confirmed to be the 5th., 5th comes, im informed that it will be delivered by 8pm - around 19:00 im informed that the delivery wont occur. I contact amazon support chat - we arrive to an agreement that delivery is delayed to the 10th - but ill be refunded for the shipping. 10th arrives, 1th arrives, nothing and tracking info doesnt show anything - no details at all. I contact support, they say it will be delayed again. I ask for a refund since I wont be here to collect or receive it anyway and need the item before I leave and will now have to buy it AGAIN from a local supplier, since amazon failed to deliver. They ask me if im willing to wait till saturday - I'm not, since I'm not there and it was delayed TWICE already. Then, from saturday it moves to sunday... wow... I keep asking for a refund, they say they can only refund once they have the item. But the item is lost and no one knows where it is and, above all, i paid for an item i DID NOT RECEIVE. So delayed a total of 3 times and I wont be around to receive the package even if it were delivered. I say I dont agree and want a refund, and all I keep getting is a literal copy and paste template reply that they cannot refund me ~(for an item they did not give me mind you) and I have no choice. I tell them it's a scam and that I'll have to escalate this with my credit card provider. They literally keep copying and pasting their reply. I've literally been scammed and amazon stole over 200 pounds from me. This wasn't so bad in the past, but their service over the last year is just an embarassment. I pity all these years I've been their customer (over 20 years now)

I’ve been a prime member for some years. Purchased boots, didn’t use them until 8 weeks later, they leaked in water just walking in wet grass. Amazon basically told me to go away, they weren’t interested, so did the seller who I’m about to take to court over a pair of mountain horse boots that were £125.... so beware when buying as they are not interested in merchantable quality issues or fit for purpose laws here in the UK !! A pair of trainers would be more water repellent than these, it’s disgraceful service. They probably won’t post this as they didn’t for my product review.

Refused to send me the item and to refund my money for four weeks at least. Also just blamed their 3rd parties, as if it was nothing to do with them.

Amazon Pantry order 3 days late I ordered from Amazon Pantry I have waited in all day for my cat food and cat litter to arrive, it was meant to be here by 9pm tonight, now they have said its not arriving until Tuesday, my cat desperately needed the cat food and cat litter and I have wasted a whole day waiting for the delivery, there wasn't even an update to let me know it was going to be 3 days late, unbelievable

Place a order over the Black Friday… Place a order over the Black Friday period took my money then did not deliver good, without any reasonable excuse customer service just refund my money which i did not ask for they just con me out of a Black Friday sale. Also no excuse as to why they took the order and did not deliver I run a business and i have been telling how they have con me This is one customer will spread purchase to some companies who put their customer first. Not one with poor customer service

Ordered two products for Christmas. Was sent completely different product. Refused to replace as it was out of stock for two days, told me to buy it somewhere else. Also refused to refund me even though I have not received the paid for items.

Item was left on my doorstep in full view of a busy road although I was at home at the time. The website shows 'handed to resident'. This is clearly incorrect.

I use Amazon a lot and have been a loyal customer. That's why I don't appreciate that they have lied about delivery dates, wasted my time, yet took my money. I placed an order on Friday and it said it'd be delivered on Wednesday. On Monday, it then said that the delivery would be either Wednesday (today) or Thursday. I needed the item by today as I'm going to the airport tonight and the product is something that is difficult to buy in England. On Monday, on the helpline, they advised that I cancel and order again under the one-day delivery service. New guaranteed arrival date was today. This morning, however, the advisor on the helpline said that the guaranteed delivery date had been changed to tomorrow. THE CLUE IS IN THE NAME, "GUARANTEED"! I told her that if it was coming tomorrow, it was no use to me as I am flying tomorrow morning at 6am. I asked to cancel, she kept saying that maybe I could just wait a while, bla bla bla. I explained that I didn't want that because if it is delivered while I'm away, why should I carry it to the post office to return it? I'm so annoyed and disappointed with Amazon, they've wasted my time, messed up a surprise present for my boyfriend who I haven't seen for 2 months and been dishonest.

Shambolic service. Customer service dreadful and constantly told lies about my order. Told item was 'lost', next thing it's on its way, this has been ongoing for over a week. Been a consumer for over 10 years but will be closing my account and never use them again

I am paying for Prime for 1 Day delivery and wasting my money as on several occasions over the last couple of months the service is so bad I always get a so sorry your parcel is delayed it will be with you in a couple of days and contacting customer service is a complete waste of time as they couldn’t care less about customer service

Customer service had gone down, it could be that they are cutting cost to increase profit, they now don't offer free return if you changed your mind, and they don't care if you bought the item for a higher cost, they just put the price down the week after... :( I would be looking to shop elsewhere since they don't offer free return service which most online shops do.

Warning if you order anything of value and the courier decides not to deliver or deliveries somewhere else AMAZON will use every excuse known to man not to refund you 1. No signature has not to been obtained. 2. Tracking info states delivered to a (shed) I don't have a shed. 3. Amazon told me to wait for 72+ hours. 4. I need a crime number from the police. 5. Check with neighbours. 6. Reported missing item to the police I have a crime number. AND STILL NO REFUND. County court proceedings now! Please see the Consumer Rights Act 2015 Amazon liable

I hate Amazon, avoid this awful corporation.. I would nuke them if I had the red button.. I purchased a heater from modern life through amazon for £200. Its lasted less than a year and now does not work. The seller refuses to communicate and Amazon will not assist in any way or offer any kind of refund. They also refuse to publish my review of the seller despite that my item has ceased to work. Payment went to Amazons bank account yet they claim they are nothing to do with third-party sellers or the transaction. The company is still advertising on Amazon and is still allowed to sell, despite selling faulty goods. Now I will make a chargeback and start a smalls claims against Amazon. Also, their customer service is the worst, nearly as bad as talktalk!! One manager I spoke to called Carl even promised me a refund within two days, two weeks passed and nothing!! Large companies don't give a **** about you. Buy from small companies and support small business. Avoid Amazon and there terrible customer service...
