Amazon have always been extremely helpful and friendly whenever I have dealt with them. It is very rare they do not have exactly what you are after, but do have good alternative options if this is the case. My orders are almost always on time, and at a reasonable shipping cost. The variety and price is why I often shop with amazon.

Ok so the delivery is superb, but try getting a VAT invoice out of them for Amazon Prime ...Get real Amazon VAT invoices and receipts are an everyday thing for the rest of the world that pays its taxes!

Made a mistake on two orders. Realised straight away. System would NOT let me cancel so now i have a kindle book when i have no kindle and a sawblade i dont need. Great !

stayed in all day for "next day" delivery- was looking out of window hoping to see van - at the precise moment i got an email to say they had attempted delivey and failed as i was out ! Double checked no card in post box. Obviously a lie - the driver just decided they wanted to go home early ! So much for them saying they want to "build Earth's Most Customer-Centric Company.". PR rubbish. Avoid - and use a company that pays their fair wack of taxes !

Nearly everything I have ordered from this company has been of a high standard of quality and delivery service sometimes quicker than expected. Only had to send back 1 item that was faulty and that was replaced with no problem. I know it sometimes can be a bit of a lottery as items are just by sight and not by touch but so far it’s not been a problem.

Hi all, just thought i'd post and share my utter frustration with my latest experience with Amazon. In brief, i purchased an item which could not be posted through my letterbox and also required signature as proof of delivery. The item was to be delivered the next day (Saturday) as confirmed upon checkout on Amazons site and then on the confirmation email, it stated Tuesday. I then called through to the actual retailer and they confirmed this is some issue at Amazons end, which i find it hard to believe as an "issue", as Amazon dont just make mistakes, its all done purposely. I continued with the purchase under the guarantee that it will be delivered by Tuesday. Tuesday came and no delivery. I called the retailer again rather than Amazon, as Amazon is slooow to respond and i need answers quick. The retailer called the courier (DHL) and they confirmed delivery for the Wednesday. We, as a family, then went away for one week as the children were off from school and upon our return, there was no proof of attempted delivery for our item. I called the retailer and they confirmed that the delivery was made, and someone had signed for it. i asked for proof of signature and the signature was clearly not mine or anyone from my household nor my neighbours. Even if it was my neighbours then the proof of attempted delivery should advise that item was left with that neighbour, but nothing. Now, Amazon have rejected my claim for refund, even though the item is showing as ā€œone the way, but its running lateā€ and when I choose the option Track Package, it reads – ā€œYour package may be lostā€ . this is a clear case of fraud as my item is not with me and i am now out of pocket for Ā£429. I believe the courier has signed on my behalf and i now refuse to do any further business with Amazon, but i will fight this until i get my money back. Appalling Amazon and sheer arrogance

Love Amazon UK. They are my go to place. You can find pretty much anything you want, which you can't get in shops. Delivery and customer service is excellent, so much easier. Saves a lot of time and money.
