“AD seemed to have a range of items not stocked by other providers that meet my requirements and price point; as well as having the item in stock. The item was competitively priced, but there was a delivery charge of £19.95. The item could have been delivered in a matter of days, but opted for a more convenient date 5 days out. As it transpired AD offered to deliver it on an earlier date that was convenient, so arrived in 2 days of ordering. Two hour slot confirmed the day before and had a call 20 minutes before delivery which was actually slightly earlier than promised. I couldn't really ask for more.”

“I’ve got mixed feelings about my recent purchase from Appliances Direct. I bought a top rated record player. The price was good. I was notified delivery would be on the Wednesday. It arrived a day ahead of schedule. That would have been good if the delivery company hadn’t left it outside my back door in the rain. The large sticky address label had been stuck directly onto the record player box, with no additional protective packing or covering around the box. All of that is not good because I bought the record player to give as a gift.”

“On the day of planned delivery for my fridge freezer, I got a message stating "Due to issues within the warehouse the stock has not been received into the correct depot to complete your delivery today. We will contact you as soon as we have an update. Sorry for any inconvenience caused", no contact since. Unfortunate as I had to arrange time off work in advance of the delivery and have arranged temporary storage of my cold and frozen goods. Disappointing experience.”

“We could not find a Dyson V10 extra locally and decided to order via Appliances direct who had a similar price and more importantly the item in stock! The item was delivered very quickly - no issues - no fuss.”

“First delivery 2 ovens really badly damaged. But to be fair they got new ones out quickly. But my hob that should of been delivered 10 days ago they have changed my delivery date 3 times. I have been charged £200 off my granite templaters cause it wasn’t on site.”

“Firstly I never write reviews immediately upon receiving an item. It's been 7 weeks now since I first ordered the dehumidifier. The first one lasted 3 days then decided to die, upon calling AD they arranged the collection and redelivery without any issues. The replacement has been working as expected since. The company fulfilled my expectations and I've already recommended them to my nephew.”

“Excellent customer service before buying my samsumg A72 phone. Price a little more expensive than some sights and I wasn't happy that I had to pay postage. However having had a few problems from another site decided to go with AD. No comment on returns or refunds.”

“My experience was excellent - I ordered a washing machine on Friday and it arrivedand was carefully installed by their team on the Tuesday. I have heard from others of long delays with deliveries due to a company reorganisation but that wasn't my experience.”

“Delivered on time by Arrowxl who were first class. In terms of the item purchased it was goo value for money. the anoying thing was the 'follow up' phone call to check that my on line order was correct. In actual fact this is just a sales call to buy extended warranty products.”
