“I was very dissatisfied with the delivery men. They did not put themselves out by trying to get the item into my property. As everything that was suggested just being negative. So the item had to go into a neighbour garage”

“Very helpful, friendly service. Having had to have replacement fitted due to original machine being damaged, and it being over the Christmas/new year period, there were minimal delays, i was kept informed on a regular basis of progress with my order. Very good machine and good service”

“Flippin brilliant! My freezer died on Boxing Day, I was packed to the gunners. Ordered a freezer and larder fridge, both delivered in 48 hrs. Delivery updates every few hours. Lovely delivery chaps, so pleasant and helpful. I would come back to these guys any day. THANK YOU, GREAT SERVICE!”

“Ordered one of their cheap own brand (Electriq) fan assisted ovens on 29 Decemeber as our old one broke 3 days before Christmas. Luckily our microwave is oven as well so Christmas awkward but cookable. Paid for next day delivery but was by DPD not their own driver. Having said that it arrived within 24 hours and the first meal was cooked and eaten within 28 hours. Installation easy because it had 13A plug and we had spare socket close enough. Looks good and cooked well. Temperature markings could be a easier to see. The usual temps are at the bottom of the knob. My installation is at waist height. Installed under a worktop, setting correct temp with knob would be difficult to see accurately without kneeling on the floor.”

“Terrible company, slow moving to address issues with no sympathy for the impact they had and the considerable costs involved. Ordered range cooker at the start of Dec 21 in anticipation of a house move where we would be without one. Cooker delivered as planned on the 14 Dec and initially unprompted feedback from the delivery driver that Appliances Direct hold no compassion or personal interest in their customers or their staff, stemming from a recent family issue they had encountered. Sadly upon opening it was larger than ordered and hence would fit. Then it took 5 lengthy phones at a cost of c£30 on a premium rate phone number for them to agree to take it back. Then two failed collection attempts having waited in all day, with it finally being collected on the 29 Dec. All this time without a cooker ... over Christmas! and without the refunded money to buy another. When looking for another they were now £150 more expensive than large name rivals and they refused to price match, let alone offer something for all the inconvenience. After much pressing they offered either a £40 voucher for a future purchase (which I would not want to use as this experience) or £50 off a new cooker... which would make them only £100 more expensive than a large rival for the correct size! An all round appalling experience which was constantly poor regardless of which of the many Appliance Direct I spoke to. I would avoid this company at all costs.”
