“Although delivery was arranged for the 24.1.22, as we were away from home for the previous 3 days, the package was delivered (by Amazon?) on the 22nd and left on our doorstep until we returned home on the 23rd.”

“The website said the item was in stock and delivery from tomorrow. I was then told that delivery at most would be 11 days. It was finally delivered in 14 days. However, once I received email notification of delivery, it happened as notified. The product is good, but (and reinforced by other reviewers with similar experiences) the website seems to tell porkies about availability and delivery timescales.”

“All good except that delivery day moved from Tuesday to Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Was however delivered on the Thursday.”

“Delayed delivery twice. Advised it was not actually in stock despite original two day delivery offered. Noticed that although I was told not in stock and would be delayed the website was still offering on short delivery. Poor buying experience.”

“Fantastic service! I was let down by another well known company having waited over 2 weeks for delivery of a tumble dryer & then being told it was out of stock. Ordered on Appliances Direct and they delivered the tumble dryer 2 days later (2 days earlier than I expected! 😀) I also received regular updates on the progress of my order which was very helpful. I will be using Appliances Direct in the future & would definitely recommend the company to others. Thank you”

“10 days after payment and I’m still waiting for delivery. Contacted them to sort it out and it will take a further 4 days to even respond! They totally take the p….. so much so I’ve already been and purchased another one from elsewhere. In my opinion, unless you have a few weeks to spare I’d look elsewhere.”

“I ordered a Hotpoint dishwasher on a Sunday night and it was delivered undamaged by extremely helpful delivery driver and co driver on the Thursday. They phoned in advance to ensure someone was available to take delivery of it. The price was very reasonable for the quality of the machine. The dishwasher is great and practically runs silently and was easy to install. I genuinely could not fault this purchase from ordering to delivery.”

“I payed £40 for express delivery of an electric cooker. It failed to make the first delivery as the vehicle was too big to get to a farm where we have regular bulk deliveries in 18 ton vehicles. They rescheduled the delivery for 5 days later. I have just been told this delivery failed because they could not find the house. We have never had this excuse before with multiple deliveries on a monthly basis. After 3 phone calls I still have no idea when the cooker is to be delivered. A simply appalling experience”

“I ordered my appliance in October 2021 and it arrived 18th January 2022. I did have a few e mails delaying the delivery dates that had previously been given but was not ever advised why. Nor was any apology forthcoming. This company had a substantial amount of my money for the whole of this period. Not a happy customer!!”
