“Purchased the Boss dual grill BBQ, Order and delivery was seamless - we received excellent communication regarding the delivery. We did have an issue with a part being damaged but they rectified the issue right away. Would use again!”

“Very competitive price. Even had free delivery, free recycle and installation. Very patient with me when trying to make my purchase on the phone. Only disappointment was I bought it a week late. As they had the same washing machine for sale on special offer, free Persil washing powder, and free 5 year warranty. But the machine was set in level and in the right position, couldn’t fault them. Away to buy my own Persil ha ha.”

“Told me it will be delivered on Monday. I made plans for Saturday only to receive a text at 0830 on Saturday morning telling me it was arriving between 0930 and 1030 that day!! This could have caused me problems.”

“The cost was significantly below Amazon's. The delivery arrived on the nominated day and an email was received with a time slot in which it would arrive. The driver lifted the package into the hall for me as it was quite heavy. I have no complaints.”

“A text received on Sunday 16/7/23 stated thst the appliance would be delivered the following morning and that the driver would contact me 30 minutes before delivery. No such contact was made by the driver, and when he delivered it, I was taking a shower which I would not have done if I had had the 30 minutes of advance notice of delivery. The appliance had to be left outside the house as it was too heavy for the driver to get it inside and my 64 year old wife couldn't help. I am 74 years old and I had to wait for my son to help me manoeuvre it inside. At my age, this was not easy. It would have been helpful if the advance contact had been carried out as per the text message. It would also have been helpful if the delivery had been made by a 2 man team. The packaging has not yet been removed from the appliance as I am waiting for the kitchen fitter to give his availabilty to install it, so at this stage it is impossible to tell if the appliance is undamaged. I reserve the right to report on the condition of the appliance at a later date. Overall, I am extremely disappointed by the lack of communication by Appliances Direct delivery agent and would think twice before ordering another major appliance from this business.”

“Paid for next day delivery (on a Saturday) Delivery arranged by the Company with DHL. - On Saturday DPD failed to turn up but recorded it as a missed delivery - a lie ! -DPD texted saying they would deliver on Sunday. On Sunday they then texted saying due to unforeseen events the delivery was delayed until Monday -Now Monday and still waiting - but received a text form the Company saying that due to 2 failed attempts did I want to cancel? No - just a reliable courier please”

“Ordered on the Thursday afternoon and delivered before 10am the next day. Kept up to date with driver progress using both the app and a couple of phone calls when they were nearer the house. Paid for the swap out and collection due to time pressures - very quick and easy for two guys who were eager to crack on. Would definitely recommend and use again.”
