“Very quick dispatch and delivery. Would have been five stars but the packaging was not adequate for the weight of the item ( this may of course be the manufacturer's fault ). Rather than being in a box the AC unit was sat on a cardboard tray with a box sleeve over the top. This had separated in transit leading to damage to one of the castor wheels ( but not bad enough for me to cope with the hassle of returning it ). I really expect the manufacturer would have put nylon packing straps top to bottom to secure it, but there was nothing but tape holding it together. This makes me wonder if this box was a return or had previously been opened for some reason? The price I paid was not for a returned item.”

“I order a few things from Appliances Direct as they were the most affordable option. The orders included 2 sinks, one a compost 1.5 sink and the other a stainless steel sink. The composite sink arrived in 2 pieces!! snapped in-between the sink sections (for this level of damage it must have been dropped from a significant height) and the stainless steel sink was badly dented in 2 places. Both unusable. They did refund the composite sink (after saying they wouldn't as I reported it over their 14 day period after delivery (I had left it boxed to protect it until it was needed for the worktop template - the lesson is always check immediately on arrival) and they did reluctantly replace the stainless steel sink. I also ordered a fridge freezer which arrived almost undamaged - only one small dent on the fridge door. I accepted this as it seems too much of a lottery to see if you will receive undamaged goods and a replacement could have had more damage, so a small dent may be the least of the problems.”

“I ordered a ninja AF500uk on the 1st of April to be delivered on the 9th and after being told so many different things. No stock and no idea when they are going to supply my air fryer. But they are still selling it on the website for £70 more than I paid so it looks like that new orders are still being taken out yet I don't get one . If you are thinking of ordering anything please make sure they have some in stock”

“Not called before the delivery so missed the apparent delivery. Said I was not home. This is untrue. Rearranged delivery but not received a time slot at 5pm day before delivery. Not sure what’s going on.”
