I am disgusted with the services of this company. Delivery was scheduled and was told I would receive messages on the day of delivery and nothing was received. Then received an email to say no one was home to leave items and re-delivery was organized for the following week. On that day no messages again around the delivery and then received an email at around 2 pm to say the warehouse has placed my order back for sale and the item is not available. I would never recommend this company. No substitute was offered unless I wanted to pay 3 times the price. I am disgusted, to say the least. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

Buyer beware this company refuses to accept requests for refunds when parts are not required or not fit for purpose. Bought a spare part for an oven and it wasnt needed as the oven needed many more repairs. Item still in box, not opened, not used. This guys are hiding behind a condition that electronic parts can't be returned. This is a fan so not electronic. Customer service terrible just email saying no its my problem. They supply Doug Smith Spares in Granville. Equally unhelpful, just passed me through back to Appliances online, not their problem apparently. Stay away from these organizations

A warning for others planning on using this company. If your product is not in stock then you face some pretty terrible customer service. - Ordered fridge in March with ETA for delivery in May. - 3 days before delivery, advised they have no ETA on delivery, but still selling the product online with an ETA. - Could not offer any compatible replacement product i.e. offered another fridge if I pay an extra $350 that requires plumbing, whereas the original did not, or offered another fridge with a $25 discount on the marked price but I still need to pay another $350. I asked for alternative fridges and they couldn't be bothered looking. - Customer service personnel had no interest in fixing the situation and just talked over the top of me.

No customer service if you buy a faulty product. Have a faulty expensive SMEG toaster and have been given the run around by appliances online. They don't respond to emails. Initial response said it is in the hands of the manufacturer yet they admitted no one had contacted SMEG to pass on the information re fault. Buyer beware...Once they have your cash u are on ur own as they are the liason between customer and manufacturer but they don't lift a finger...apparently you are now stuck with a dud product and have to buy another.

This website is an absolute scam. I ordered a mattress for my daughter on over 7 weeks ago and it has still not arrived. I asked for a refund and was refused. I asked for a tracking number and have not been provided one. I asked where my product was and was told I would be notified once it had been dispatched. I called and was rerouted to a call-service in India even though this company claims to be Australian (Melbourne). Never ever ever give your money to this company for anything- you will not receive a product and will never get your money back. Terrible customer service and just outright thieves. Would leave ZERO stars if that were an option.

I had a fridge delivered for my elderly mum today. Fridge was organised for delivery within 24 hours, unknown to me my mother also had a doctors appointment. I rang them up in the morning and easily changed the delivery time. When they arrived there was equipment, tools etc blocking the entry from the garage. The delivery men were amazing, made room to bring the fridge, ensured my mother rested and absolutely amazing service. The entire experience was quick and easy but the customer service from the delivery team would ensure I bought again, cannot thank them enough, this is customer experience that is priceless. Thank you so much.

I bought a range hood and paid 270 dollars extra to appliances online so they will do the installation and take the rubbish out. After waiting for 2weeks, a guy called Jason came in. He had a look and told us that our old range hood was too close to the stove and does not comply with the current standards. He said he has to cut the cupboards and do extra work to be able to put the new range hood in. He quoted another 650 and another one week waiting. Then on the day he only worked for 1.5 hours!! Turned out he did not need to cut the cupboards or do any extra work. Literally just took the old one out and put the new one in but we paid 900 odd dollars for this. Abaolute rip- off. He was such life who exaggerated the amount of work required to charge us extra. For a work which was not needed. I will never ever buy anything from them and will not suggest them to anyone! They should be ashamed of their lies! I wish I had time to take them to Consumers Affairs to stop them from doing this to others!

This company used to be great, myself and family have bought many white goods from them over the years. After bad experiences last year and terrible service on two purchases this year (2022)I will no longer be purchasing from them or their associated companies such as Winning Appliances

Ordered a kitchen sink once my plumber had measured and okayed. Didn't fit by the smallest amount. Not installed, in packaging and they charged 20% to take it back. That's $200 (not even just shipping) but TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS. I buy everything online and have never seen such a steep returns charge. The plumber said the same, most normal online companies price in refund/returns into their business model. Never ever shop here. Ended up getting the right one from sink warehouse. Who return free of charge as do kitchen warehouse. Criminal and out of line with the industry.

Someone asked why they had terrible reviews here - because they manage their reviews else where and when things go fine, they go fine. When they go wrong, you spend the better part of 2 weeks without a washing machine and being told that it is the manufacturer who is delaying repairs and avoiding giving you a contact number or reference number for the manufacturer, who when you actually manage to contact (with the useless number they palmed you off with) you discover that 1. they haven't put in the claim 2. that the manufacturer is not experiencing delays 3. that the manufacturer can have a repair person out next day.

Realistically these guys have bad reviews because they don't seem to have great process, I ordered off them a fan and received a package that had already been opened, and one would assume returned in the past. Clearly this product was returned previous because of the really naff fake wood effect, When I asked about returning the fan again I was advised that they would take a 20% fee, although the product had already been opened by them prior. I would not recommend this company, the boxes for all the appliances (this fan and an air conditioner) I have purchased have been broken in some way.

Really not sure what's with all the bad reviews here, on every other review site they're a 5 star company. Ordering was painless, the price was $150 lower than the big box retailers, and my air conditioner was delivered the very next day. I'll have no problem shopping with them again.

Cannot fault my experience with Appliances Online. Saved myself $60.00 on the product (on the closest next lowest price I could find), plus free delivery and, received my item literally 10 hours after ordering!! Then, the delivery team went above and beyond calling me and making sure my package was left in a safe and secure location at my place of work as it was before business hours. We have not yet installed the item but upon first look - it looks to be all good as well.

I bought a small bar fridge for $1200, which I thought was not cheap. The fridge constantly pools water from the glass door. Contacted Appliance and asked if I could replace with a fridge that has a heated door to stop the issue. Was told that that is outside there buying guide. Very disappointed on the response as the they said the humidity is over 70% but where the fridge is the humidity is definitely not that high.

Appliances Online sold us a LG washing machine a few days before Christmas. They said they would deliver and install the new machine, as well as take away the old one. They duly delivered the new machine and we thought they had installed the new machine properly. Instead of tightening the hoses, the installer had just connected them a few turns. He did not test the machine. On using the machine for the first on Christmas eve, we found the hoses had leaked flooding our laundry and soaking the carpet of the adjoining room. We contacted what they laughingly called customer service and spoke to Gerdie, and told him what had happened. They apologised at first and asked for a photo of the damage with a view to compensation. They have just plain ignored us ever since. Their attitude is disgusting. They just hope you just go away, well they thought wrong this time.

Appliances Online sold me a TV on Monday 17/01/22 that was to be delivered on Friday 21/01/22. They rang me on Wednesday 19/01/22 and told me they would not have the TV ready for delivery until late February. I asked why their website said it could be delivered on Friday. They told me it must be an error. I went and checked their website and they were still showing the TV could be delivered in January. I told them this and they informed me it must be an error. I asked Appliances Online to send me an email explaining what happened. They said they would and sent me another invoice. They then tried to switch me to buying another TV. It is misleading and deceptive for Appliances Online to pretend they have stock and then try and switch you to another product. Terrible customer service, terrible business to deal with.

I placed an order 8 weeks ago on the 23rd of October 2021 for a dryer to be delivered to my property on October 26th. On the 25th of October I received a txt message that a delivery driver would issue a 2 hour delivery window on the booked day of delivery. No further contact was made. I was present at the property for the full day of the expected delivery that did not occur. I waited more than a reasonable time to hear from your team and no contact was made. I contacted at the beginning of December to follow up on the order that I placed, and paid in full for to be told by a customer service representative that due to the time of night of my call nothing could be done and that someone would be in touch with me again to follow up. Again, no contact was made. I followed up on my call and spoke to a team leader earlier this week and was advised that the dryer I bought had been sold and no other of the type were available. The Team leader agreed to have the product upgraded to closest of the sort that I initially purchased and to have the product delivered on Saturday 18th December. The window of time the delivery was to occur, I do not believe the product presented at my property, I was home at the time and no delivery conditions were met as set out on appliances online website. Under Delivery section 4.6 a) & b) If neither you nor your authorised representative is at the delivery address to take delivery, our driver will leave a notice in your letterbox or under your front door, advising you of our contact details so that you can contact us to organise another delivery day; however I personally was at the delivery address at the time of the delivery window there was no attempt to knock on my door nor was a notice left as stated in the terms of delivery. I am lead to believe that the driver did not attend my address as I was not alerted to their presence and no evidence was left at my premises to suggest the delivery attempt even occurred. I am beyond frustrated with the lack of service that has been provided and the amount of my own time it has wasted. I am a full time employed single mother that can not afford to take time from work to suit the delivery schedule that has been suggested & I am appalled by being told that I need to be accountable for what has occurred by the customer service staff that I spoke with this morning when the product again has not been delivered. Both times the product has been scheduled for delivery I have put my life on hold to wait for a product I purchased that continues to fail to be delivered. This is not an acceptable transaction or level of service. I will be seeking legal advice and consulting ACCC. More disgusted by the service as no one listens, rude staff, lying horrible people. Worst shopping ordeal I have ever experienced and like nearly every other review I’ve read is like reliving what happened to me. Just not acceptable as a paying customer. I can’t express enough my disappointment in the way I’ve been spoke to and treated. After my 5th contact I was actually left in tears, and finally spoke to someone decent that did take time and listen but unfortunately I already knew that he would not be able to help as i had already done the rounds with team leaders/managers that were not understanding or accommodating to the frustration with faults in their own internal processes and not willing to take constructive feedback on board. Beyond disappointed. I just have no words!

I echo all the other bad reviews- terrible company. No one seems to know what they are doing there, time and time again, deliveries and orders were stuffed up. Not sure what’s going on but it’s been the worst shopping experience of my life.
