I placed an on line order, after 3 days I was notified by email that it had not been shipped yet, I needed this by the 20th for a birthday gift, but the email said it would not arrive until the 23rd. I tried cancelling my order on line, however that turned into a joke by having to chat with a robot...then tried calling and was on hold for 17 minutes. I'm beginning to think they are owned by Shien or Temu.

I am writing to report an experience I had at the Bath & Body Works store located at Poplar & Ridgeway. About 30 minutes ago, I visited the store and purchased plug-ins. Due to store policy, there is a limit on how many items I could purchase, and I had a coupon to use. The associate (who identified herself as the store manager) told me I could only apply my coupon once, rather than allowing me to use it on my second purchase of plug-ins. I explained that I would have bought more items if I could use the coupon more than once, as the coupon’s value could be applied across multiple purchases in a single visit. The associate claimed she had thrown the coupon away and insisted that the coupon could not be used more than once. Based on my prior experience working at Bath & Body Works, I know there are codes or procedures that can allow a coupon to be applied more than once, especially when splitting purchases in a single visit. This approach makes business sense because it can increase overall sales and customer satisfaction. I feel that the associate was rude and unprofessional, and her handling of the situation may have caused potential loss of sales for the store. The experience did not reflect the customer service standards I expect from Bath & Body Works, or from the brand I know. I would like to request recurrent customer-service training for the associate in question, who identified herself as the store manager (Donna). I believe this training is necessary to ensure better customer interactions, proper handling of coupons and promotions, and to prevent similar incidents in the future. For reference, I have noticed that another Bath & Body Works location at Oak Court Mall provides better customer value and service, and I intend to share my experience on my social media accounts to inform fellow shoppers.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Preface with everytime I walk in that store I spend $180-200 and that not exaggerated. Store #2820 the associates name in Kerry. He was so rude and totally worthless. I had a candle that didn’t burn right and was wanting to replace it! He said he couldn’t bc it was old. If I would have known I needed the receipt, I would have brought it. It was purchased April 2025 NOT OLD! NOTE: About 2 yrs ago I had a similar situation, the associate said, no problem, just go get another one. Of course, the same one wasn’t in stock. Picked up another one, no issues at all. But today, was just another Customer Service Rep that FAILED MISERABLY and doesn’t know how to treat customers AND his smartalic attitude made things worse. He should be fired! I fully expected to spend another $200 today, but walked out.

Half of my order is gonna ship but the other half I have to drive and pick up my order … mind u I’m already paying the same amount of shipping fee… I want all my order ship to my house… is this something new??? If it is it sucks!!!

I'm very unhappy with bath and body works. They sent me email that I got a birthday gift. Then it disappears from my email and I call the company many of times and they still won't accept it as much as money.I spend at this place.They should accept it.

They had a recent add ,2 3wicks for $26 thru September 15th. I got off work at 2pm went in to the store about 245pm and was told that sale ended earlier that morning. I have never heard of an add that is only good a partial day. The 15th ends at 11:59 pm not before noon! We left.

I attempted to return candles that I spent $150 on. I became alerted, news alerts, that the candles I had purchased were a danger to me. The candles would burn black and had exploded in another customers face. I was meet with negative comments. I was told that I would have to pay for the shipping back, which I refused. I believe that Bath and Body Works is not and will take responsibility for faulty products. I do not believe I should have to pay to return products that explode and cause customers damages. I will not, in the future, do business with Bath and Body Works. I am awaiting a class action lawsuit, which I will more than happily join.

💀 Just a PSA Before You Order from Bath & Body Works Online 💀 Ordered directly from bathandbodyworks.com. Not Etsy. Not Wish. The real site. My package never arrived, so I reached out. First, customer service said they’d refund me—great. Then they pulled a full 180 and told me the package was “delivered to a freight forwarder” and they’re not responsible anymore. 👀 I live in New Jersey. I’m not shipping bath bombs to Bora Bora. They literally tried to blame a shipping ghost. It wasn’t until I made noise (shout out to X and Facebook) that they magically decided to issue a refund. I’m not looking for freebies. I just want folks to know: if anything goes sideways with your order, be prepared to fight for it—because they’ll absolutely try to shrug and walk away. 🚩 Candles smell great. Customer service? Smells like 💩

I remembered when I got my package that I had told myself never order from here again, I can't believe I forgot. It came like the last box, full of glass containers just thrown haphazardly into the box with no protection or wrapping so they could slam against each otger on transit, and even the 'bubble plastic', which was deflated so not sure why it was even added to the box, was just laid on top of them, providing zero purpose. The box with 2 was open and one of them was laying in the box with the others. So, no surprise that, just like my last order, there was a broken one and it reeked to high heaven, the box was even stained by it. I included pics so you can see how much 'care' their people put into packing GLASS for mailing. I won't forget this time.

I ordered online they sent one bar of soap in a medium box with bubble wrap the other day then today I get a box with 46 items in it with no bubble wrap one of my hand soaps have busted all over every item tell me how this makes sense

So i ordered some items on a Wednesday night. Thursday morning a sale comes on for buy 3 get 3 free which would make a difference of about $30. I talk with customer service but they can't cancel the order because it's been "released" (whatever that means) but hasn't been shipped AND they can't do a refund on the difference. I am told to place a new order, then when i receive the first order, do a return AND I have to pay for shipping it back. What kind of customer service is that when you can't do a refund? Extra work and time and energy on everyone's part. I plan not to buy from them anymore. When i asked for a supervisor as well, they would not transfer me either.

Missing items in shipment again. Of course it was the most expensive item. Customer care does not answer on chat, tried 5 different times during open hours. Only the bot responds, then nothing. No phone, no email options. No way to reach them. I will NEVER order online again.

I bought 2 bottles of Japanese Cherry Blossom Travel Size Body Lotion. And there is an offer of Buy 2, Get 2 but didn't get another 2 bottles. Support says while adding in cart, customer have to add free bottles also means instead of 2 have to add 4 bottles. But it's not written on checkout page. They say it's written in terms and conditions. Every time how is it possible to read terms and conditions. Who will not like to get free offer. Support refuse to consider my issue. They are cheating customer.

Ordered online, received no response as proof of purchase, yet money was taken from account. Goods had not arrived in 2 weeks, 1st email sent that they responded too, apologising, and saying they will look into it and get back to me. After another 2 weeks, still no reply, so another email sent with no reply, and since another email sent with still no reply, so they have taken my money and I have received no goods. Extremely disappointed with this company, don't do business with these people.

I bought several items from this store online. I really loved the fragrance that I got from the store. When I received the items from online they had no smell at all and the ones from the store, after a few weeks, had no smell at all either. I will never buy anything at all from this place.

I shopped with Bath and body Works for 30 years as a very loyal customer and also bought holiday gifts there for all of my friends and family, but that ends today. Their online customer service has been outsourced and I have never had a worse experience than I did this Christmas. I bought $200 worth of items that were lost by FedEx within the first week which is clearly not their problem but from that point, I spoke to customer service four different times including two different supervisors at which time each person told me they re-ordered my order and then when it never arrived, I would Speak to a supervisor who would tell me they re-ordered incorrectly and say they were re-ordering themselves they claim to have re-shipped my products yet I never received any tracking or one single email from the time. The first package went missing. They gave me the runaround and gave me zero compensation for all of the trouble and the fact I had no Christmas gifts to give out here. I am six weeks later still fighting for this package to arrive and I was finally told all they could do for me is give me a refund. I’m in hospitality myself and when I screw up somebody’s order, I pay for it out of my own pocket. I have never had worse customer service experience in my life and as much as I love their products, I won’t shop with them again if hell freezes over because I’ve never been treated with such disregard for my money, my loyalty and as a human being, the first supervisor I spoke to said he was sending me a coupon and even though they were regular coupons that you get in the mail not of any real value I never received it. We went over my email address multiple times being that his accent was so thick but it’s clearly in the company’s records because they emailed me all the time though I have not received one email since the day the first package was lost even though each time I was told that my order was being re-ordered I’m thoroughly disgusted and will shout it from the rooftops anywhere I can, and I literally have never written a complaint about any business in my life
