“My experience with this shop is terrible . I bought a Halloween gravestone decoration ( although a music shop they also sell Halloween decorations ) the product arrived and one gravestone wasn’t working. - the lights should move and a ghost fly up, but it didn’t move. I asked for an exchange and to be fair they accepted it and arranged a postage label. This is where things went bad. It took several weeks for them to ship the replacement so it actually arrived after Halloween and worse …… the product was faulty again….. and exactly the same problem as the first one . I’ve contacted customer services several times about this over a few week and they simply ignore me and don’t reply. Terrible customer service. My advice is to shop elsewhere. I’m in yeh process of involving trading standards and citizens advice to try and get a refund.”

“I ordered a left handed acoustic for my dad and when it come it’s a tiny guitar like kids size nowhere on the website did it say it’s a kid’s guitar and I can’t send it back so I am stuck I recommend you avoid this app I am new to playing guitar and I have found that a good app is gears for music”

“A good value Black, Single Cutaway Electro-Acoustic Guitar with a built-in tuner, and padded gig bag with pockets, delivered well packaged and in good condition albeit one day late. Nice warm sound, also nice sound when plugged into amplifier although not very powerful. It has a nice easy action (easy to play) neck. Although not shown on website, supplied with 2 stick-on, pick guards. On the down side, the low E string has a couple of coils missing, the bridge saddle is a bit out of alignment and I had to purchase a 9 volt battery for the tuner elsewhere. But on the whole bearing in mind the reasonable price, a good buy which I would recommend.”

“Kit guitar looks to be okay on delivery, bought for Xmas present so wil not be built until after this time. However, asked for delivery on 2 November (Parcel Force), did not arrive until Monday 6th - no explanation or apology. Package sat in the local depot only seven miles away since 1st November. So unable to give five star feedback.”

“Yo fellow rockers! I've been wanting a Kramer guitar forever! Finally got my chance to pick up a left handed Kramer striker from bax music. The guitar was extremely well packaged. a box in a box with a fabric cover. Looks awesome and exactly what I wanted. I read a lot of reviews online and through YouTube about the striker series having some QC issues and Unfortunately it seems my guitar didn't escape this problem. The action was set super high, turns out this is because some of the high 20 frets are dead. The 2 single coil pickups were wobbly and are tightened up properly so I'm not quite sure the issue here. the Top string is nearly off the fret-board at high frets, this is because the saddles have gaps where there shouldn't be gaps. Further investigation shows the screw holes have been badly done. Tuners were loose creating some buzz too. On the plus side, its a awesome looking guitar. I have remedied most of the issues by adjusting the truss rod in the neck. I'm guessing it was in storage for a long time and its warped the neck a little. The locking nut seems to have been fitted a bit high too so I may have to sand it down (though this would void any warranty - 3 years with bax) As this guitar has been discontinued in lefty form at least I've decided to keep it despite the issues. If you can set up guitars yourself, then its not too bad otherwise you need to put a fair amount of money aside for a luthier to set it up properly. The pickups are pretty good, floyd rose special seems ok so far and holds tuning pretty well. once ive got the relief in the neck correct i think it will play pretty nice and will likely fix the fret issues. Im debating getting these looked at by warranty though as they should be covered. If you can put up with the dodge QC then the guitars are awesome and pretty cheap. Probably shouldn't have the issues they have especially as Gibson own Kramer but I'm still relatively happy with my purchase. It's also worth pointing out that Bax themselves are nothing to do with the QC issues that are well documented online. Gibson should really address the issues!
