The company who delivered my parcel left it on the doorstep without notifying us that it was there. A child could have got a hold of it or anything.

Ordered my beer and after a week it still hadn't arrived. An email told me to check my delivery reference number (that I hadn't received). Now trying to cancel my membership and constantly kept on hold. They are a nightmare to contact and a shambles to sort out your order, I have ordered things from abroad that have turned up quicker. They don't answer the phone so I have had to resort to leaving a bad review to give them a kick in the bum.

Avoid at all costs. I’ve been waiting 4 weeks for my beer. Lots of false promises from their team and no beer. I’d love to add a photo but I’ve got sod all.

Our first box contained mostly beers I could pick up from my local Tesco. Decided to cancel, after not being able to on their website, phoned up and was put on hold for 30mins. They were very short with me, and started chatting back. Finally managed to cancel and they just hung up. No goodbyes or thank yous. Definitely won't be going back.

Total scumbag business tactics. Any service that requires you to cancel via phone is making it actively hostile to do so. I was furloughed so wanted to cancel my subuscription, low and behold you have to call them - apparently buttons that order things are easy, ones to cancel are not. Called them and got played an automated message informing me that they were too busy to reply. Accessed my online account, and as if by magic there is a button that allows you to defer you subscription a month, but not cancel it. Cute. A month has passed and I've now received an email to say that my next case is on it's way. My fault for not cancelling I've had other things to worry about lately. Of course if I could have cancelled by subscription via the site I would not be writing this review, but hey their scumbag tactics have netted a payment from me this month. I am sure I'm not alone. Not impressed.

Terrible service been waiting a month for delivery! Contacted them after 2 weeks and was told they would have a replacement box to me by the weekend 2 weeks on still nothing. Asked several times over email for a refund but still haven’t received one. Definitely won’t be using again!!

Terrible service took payment for beers 4 weeks ago and I still haven’t received my box. Rang after 2 weeks and was told I would receive a replacement box by the weekend another 2 weeks on and I still haven’t received anything. I’ve asked for a refund several times either to have my request ignored or to be told to wait another 48hrs. Very dissatisfied will definitely not be using again!!

Worst service, over month and still waiting for a box of beer to get delivered. Get told that it has been delivered when I know for a fact it hasn't. If you want a beer subscription go anywhere else. Been with them over 4 years and loyalty means nothing to them. Don't waste your money and time with them

I like to pride myself on being open to try different beers, these cans were pretty much 80% fizzy water with car air freshener taste. There was a harviestoun porter that was the only drinkable one in the box I kid you not, both me and my son tipped 5 down the sink

Figured i would give the subscription cluib a try.... what a terrible idea that was! First the box was sent with the WONDERFULLY rubbish myhermes... who promptly delayed my parcel.. I am yet to actually receive it. I'm sure the beers themselves are nice enough and the ability to select mix or light beers was nice (cant stand stouts etc) that earned them a star... However when i then went to cancel i found out you cant do it on the website! you have to phone a number which has no queuing system and is constantly busy. TERRIBLE service, its 2020 subscription management should be done online, if every other company out there can do it why not beer52? Because they know people will give up and just keep paying thats why.

Couldn’t cancel my subscription online, rang up Beer52, dealt with an extremely rude member of staff on the phone who at the end said ‘thanks for nothing matey’ and then hung up before I could say anything to him. Contacted Beer52 to complain, received a message telling me they would look into it and that is all I’ve heard, not even an apology from the company or individual who thinks it’s acceptable to speak to customers like that! The beer is very overpriced as well, £24 gets you 10 small cans of beer...

I have just dealt with Beer52 for a cyber beer festival they had organised. This event had the foundations to be absolutely superb, however it couldn’t have went much worse. The customer service I received has been nothing short of atrocious. My beer for the festival was not posted until 15th April despite previous claims all orders would be posted on or before 13th April. Upon contacting Beer52 on three separate platforms including, email, Facebook messenger and Instagram messenger. I got no response on any platform from anyone in Beer52. The first response I received was after the event and the response was very unsympathetic. They did not assure me that I was dealing with a company that values their customers. I will not order from this company again & would recommend other to avoid at all costs.

Ordered a CyberFest case for Saturday 18th April Order was marked as dispatched on Monday 13th (Bank Holiday) but was only received by the delivery company on Friday 17th April at mid day. The order was finally delivered on Tuesday 21st April 3 days after the LIVE event. Usually I wouldn’t care, however a group of ~20 mates decided to all get the Saturday session and do it together remotely via video call as an event. Of the group 4 peoples cases did not arrive in time which meant we could not participate in the live tastings with our friends. What I find particularly deplorable is that my friends that complained were issued an apology and a full refund for the delivery charge as it did not arrive in time. The support respondent who finally got back to me 4 days after my initial email decided a better approach would be to lie to me and say the order was “dispatched in good time” and that it was delivered on the 21st April and I could still watch the event online. To be honest from the feedback I heard, I won’t bother. I’m not entirely sure how an order reaching the courier on a Friday with a 48 hour tracking service requiring delivery on Saturday is considered “good” timing, especially knowing that this is an extremely busy time for the delivery networks. I understand this is a busy and stressful time and that Beer52 is a small team under a lot of pressure, but I don’t think it’s too much to ask to expect to be treated equally as customers. I find it appalling that delivery charges are being refunded to some customers and not others who have all experienced the same issue.

Very disappointing that they make you call up to cancel the subscription. Obviously a ploy to try and keep people on. Sadly lost my job and had to return to Aus so wasn't really on my mind to call up and cancel. I called up immediately when I saw the next payment on my credit card, had to be on hold for 10 mins calling from Australia then was told they couldn't cancel the order that had just gone through as it already left the warehouse. My first order took a long time to get to me so I highly doubt that. Overall great concept but disappointing customer service.

The service is great in every way, but the lack of any online cancellation makes you constantly mindful of cancelling! Should you want to stop and resume for any length of time over a month this is just impossible. If they could make an online cancellation it would be 5*. It's simply unnecessary to force the customer to call you, and a pitiful attempt to force people to stay.

They've turned off the phone lines so how are you supposed to cancel? I've been trying for a whole week now and nothing. This is illegal and I'm planning to report it to trading standards as intentionally creating a system where cancelling the subscription is near enough impossible. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
