Total scumbag business tactics. Any service that requires you to cancel via phone is making it actively hostile to do so. I was furloughed so wanted to cancel my subuscription, low and behold you have to call them - apparently buttons that order things are easy, ones to cancel are not. Called them and got played an automated message informing me that they were too busy to reply. Accessed my online account, and as if by magic there is a button that allows you to defer you subscription a month, but not cancel it. Cute. A month has passed and I've now received an email to say that my next case is on it's way. My fault for not cancelling I've had other things to worry about lately. Of course if I could have cancelled by subscription via the site I would not be writing this review, but hey their scumbag tactics have netted a payment from me this month. I am sure I'm not alone. Not impressed.

Great customer service and really enjoyed the quality beers. Really friendly company abc would highly recommend to any beer enthusiasts. Dispatching service was brilliant as well. Really efficient.

Really good, friendly service. Selection of beers were really tasty and varied. Hoping to reactive our subscription once the world is back to 'normal'

Good service but make it quite difficult to cancel subscription and can't just do this online. My bad, but didn't realise it was all Ales and not a massive Ale fan but liked the experience and concept of having surprise delivery of beers to try.

Terrible service been waiting a month for delivery! Contacted them after 2 weeks and was told they would have a replacement box to me by the weekend 2 weeks on still nothing. Asked several times over email for a refund but still haven’t received one. Definitely won’t be using again!!

Terrible service took payment for beers 4 weeks ago and I still haven’t received my box. Rang after 2 weeks and was told I would receive a replacement box by the weekend another 2 weeks on and I still haven’t received anything. I’ve asked for a refund several times either to have my request ignored or to be told to wait another 48hrs. Very dissatisfied will definitely not be using again!!

Super happy with the beer and the customer service. Have been a subscriber for almost 3 years! However, I've been constantly let down by their use of Hermes as a courier. I understand that they're one of the biggest courier companies in the UK, but I've had missing orders, and late orders. Every time Hermes messed up, B52 have been quick to offer a substitution and I've always been satisfied with what they offer.

Have had to cancel my subscription due to ill health Disappointing, as I have enjoyed both the craic and the beer very much I have also found the service and delivery to be tip-top My last call to cancel was taken after a 10 minute wait but made up for by Angus who was both gracious and positive As we say....see ye'! Been a member for about a year now. Great thing to be a part of. Always a good selection of varied beer and well thought out themes each month. The magazine suporting these themes makes it more interesting to read too. Any little problems have always been dealt with promptly with friendly and supportive staff. Being able to change the size of pack at any time and between light and dark beers etc is really great too.

Worst service, over month and still waiting for a box of beer to get delivered. Get told that it has been delivered when I know for a fact it hasn't. If you want a beer subscription go anywhere else. Been with them over 4 years and loyalty means nothing to them. Don't waste your money and time with them

Really great beer, great box, but the unsubscribe process is unnecessarily painful. They have a "Cancel your subscription" button on the website, but it just gives you a phone number which you have to call and then sit on hold for 10 minutes. I think there's a lot of services that I have cancelled and reinitiated over the years such as Netflix, where I've cancelled simply because I've felt poor, but then resubscribed later, and I think making me have to call them to cancel means I probably won't ever go back to them. If they change this process though, I would update this review and... who knows.

Haven’t tried the beer yet, but just on customer service the person I spoke to was really helpful and not pushy at all. Was on hold for 10 minutes, but not end of the world.

I think Beer52 is great....like really great. Personally, I can't justify the cost of a box every month, but once in a while suits me and as you are able to pause your subscription for a month then this works just fine. The beer is always delicious if not interesting to try and 9/10 of them I've never seen before....and I try a lot of beers. What impresses me the most, however, is the pure passion that drives this humble business, demonstrated by the approach and the knowledge of their staff. I spoke to Angus this morning who couldn't have been more pleasant. I've just received my nest box this morning and I can't wait to get stuck in! Roll on Friday.

I signed up for Beer52 not knowing what to expect? The sign-up was easy, 1st case and now subsequent cases have been excellent .... Beers I would never buy in a supermarket have just been superb and a real treat during this 'lockdown' period.. just upgrade from 10 to 12 which was easy to do and great communication from the Beer52 team, prompt replies to emails... Thank you .. thoroughly recommend the service !!!!!
