“Customer service has always seemed excellent, always get a fairly fast response by email. I think the price is very reasonable considering the beers are delivered free, the wide selection on offer (incl. option to have light beers only, i dont really like dark beers). Sometimes the free magazine has some interesting articles. Overall i would recommend beer52 to anyone. The only reason for the 4/5 is that the snack is not always that good and the free credits you earn from the beer subscription can only be redeemed on half of an order (you couldn't have £10 of free beer with £10 worth of vouchers, you'd have to spend £20 and get £10 free)”

“Figured i would give the subscription cluib a try.... what a terrible idea that was! First the box was sent with the WONDERFULLY rubbish myhermes... who promptly delayed my parcel.. I am yet to actually receive it. I'm sure the beers themselves are nice enough and the ability to select mix or light beers was nice (cant stand stouts etc) that earned them a star... However when i then went to cancel i found out you cant do it on the website! you have to phone a number which has no queuing system and is constantly busy. TERRIBLE service, its 2020 subscription management should be done online, if every other company out there can do it why not beer52? Because they know people will give up and just keep paying thats why.”

“Fantastic service, but a little pricey. Signed up through an offer I heard about on a podcast. Within 5 days I had a box of 8 beers, a snack and a magazine on my doorstep. Great variety of different tastes, I would highly recommend to any lover of beer! The downside for me is the price. At £24 a month it's very expensive for 8 x 330ml cans/bottles of beer. Contacting customer services to cancel was a breeze. Gave them a call and was quickly put through to Angus who was such a genuinely nice guy, didn't hassle me to stay, cancelled the subscription and that was that! 5 stars :)”

“Excellent service and delivery. Beers are very nice indeed. I had the free case and have cancelled the ongoing subscription because it is not quite "my cup of tea" at present. When I phoned to cancel, I spoke to Angus who was helpful and highly professional, so much so that I feel a bit guilty about cancelling but I see from the confirmation email that I can "reactivate" any time I wish. All in all: "top notch".”

“very very difficult to cancel the subscription. Avoid if you can. Had to wait for 40 mins to be connected. Didn't like the taste of Beer and feel it's overpriced for what you receive.”

“Angus on the phone was nice and sounded helpful. I feel it a overpriced beer, and company makes it very difficult to cancel subscription. Had to wait 40 mins on phone to be connected. i gave 2 stars for the guy on the phone but 0 for company.”

“Fast service and tasty beers! A shame that I had to cancel - but spoke to a very kind member of staff called Angus who was both cheerful and polite! As soon as there is more dollar in the bank I will be looking to sign up again!”

“Couldn’t cancel my subscription online, rang up Beer52, dealt with an extremely rude member of staff on the phone who at the end said ‘thanks for nothing matey’ and then hung up before I could say anything to him. Contacted Beer52 to complain, received a message telling me they would look into it and that is all I’ve heard, not even an apology from the company or individual who thinks it’s acceptable to speak to customers like that! The beer is very overpriced as well, £24 gets you 10 small cans of beer...”
