I was told by and agent on monday after no delivery again that the system is showing a scheduled delivery for wednesday. Dec 15th and i should wait as she updating the system to reflect same. There was no delivbery on wednesday and i requested a refund. Another stressful long phone call to bestbuy to get my refund as the agent stated would be in 7 working days and i am still without my fund.
I am reaching out all over hoping for someone advice on ther next step or way forward.
i am certainly not thinking about having the TV from best buy anymore i need my money returned to me just as bestbuy did not deliver and set up the TV.

“On 12/10/2021, I ordered a Samsung electric range and cord for Best Buy in Yuma, AZ for $850. I only placed this order after being guaranteed that it would be delivered on 12/23/2021. I received several emails stating that my order was on the way. On 12/23/2021, I received a call from Best Buy and was told that they did not have my range, didn't know where it was or if it would ever come? I panicked and went to the store. I was then told by a Manager that they didn't know what happened and had canceled the order. I was told that I would receive a refund in one (1) business day for the range and that the cord had to be placed back into stock for me to get a refund. I went home livid. Then I started doing research on Best Buy's return policy and learned that it actually takes 7 to 10 business days. I panicked because I needed this money for Christmas. I called Best Buy's customer service department 3 times and was told everything from I canceled the order which I did not, Chase debit cards don't work at Best Buy (they had no problem withdrawaling the funds), to if you are that unhappy sir, shop somewhere else. I reported the situation to Chase who is going to resolve the issue for me. Bottom line, if you buy from Best Buy and have an issue, Good luck, they are not going to help! I will NEVER shop there again”

“I had ordered a refrigerator from Best Buy and when it came, it had a large dent on the side. After speaking with the delivery men, they called a Best Buy agent who confirmed that I would get a $75 refund added back to my credit card. They said I would receive a call from an agent in a couple of days. I never did so I called customer service. After running through the situation with them, they confirmed that I would get the $75 refund back on my credit card and that I would see it in my next billing cycle. Instead, some weeks later, I received a gift card. I don't want a gift card. I see this as making me spend more money on Best Buy products instead of giving me back my money that I spent on their defective product. So, I called customer service again. I had to re-go over my situation several times for something that should be pretty simple. I want the money refunded to the credit card that I used instead of a gift card. After wasting a lot of time on this, I was told that they could cancel the gift card and that I would receive a call within 24 hrs regarding my credit card refund. Knowing how this went last time (someone promising me that I would receive a call and then never receiving it), I asked for a phone number I could call if I didn't receive the call or a complaint ID I could have for tracking purposes. I didn't want to lose the $75 I currently had. Instead, they hung up on me. Wow... I have never had such an unprofessional encounter with a big retailer before. Will never shop at Best Buy again.”

This happened about 8 times in one day. Called corporate office and they were going to give me free tech support for a year. “Went into the Ft. Myers Florida store asking to buy the best cable modem router. I did not care about price of $329.00, just wanted reliability and no hassles. Less than 6 months later, the router will not stay connected to any of my peripherals. It is definitely the router. Called the manufacturer and they would only speak to me if I agreed to pay, as tech support ends after 90 days. Called Best Buy and got another 2 step shuffle. I could pay "geek squad" to find out issue. I passed. Going to just rent or buy from Xfinity. I will NEVER set foot in a Best Buy again. They don't give a s%#t about the customer.”
“On Nov. 26, 2021, Black Friday sell, I purchased a 43in TV on line to be delivered 12/01/2021. It was delayed and I was then given a delivery date of 12/08/2021, which was delayed. I then received a text and an email saying it would be delivered 12/15/2021, when it did not arrive I went to the local Best Buy with my tracking and order information, they could not find the TV and had none in stock. I asked if I could switch to in store pick up or cancel and get a refund. I was told to call National Customer Service, which I did, 12/16/2021 and s/w ? Shawn (not sure on spelling, representative had a heavy accent) she could not find the order and said that within 48 hours I would get an update or a refund. Today, 12/20/2021, I called back since I had not heard anything, s/w ? Asain? (again a heavy accent and hard to understand her name) who informed me that the TV was Lost. I asked her to refund me and cancel order, since I have since bought another TV. She now tells me it will be refunded next billing cycle. 7-14 days, I was shocked since I did not put on BEST BUY account I paid out of pocket and the last representative told me within 48 hours. So I am now without the TV I ordered and without the money I paid. I explained to this rep that the last one told me refund within 48 hrs and gave her the reference number for the conversation and she insisted I had to wait till next billing cycle. “Telescope purchased online as Christmas present was delivered with missing product activation code. Spent 50mins on the phone with customer service who were not able to help me. First agent offered to ship an replacement but would arrive too late. Unable to hear him over the barks of several dogs in the background. He then transferred me to a different agent to try to get a replacement code. 2nd agent says she cannot provide the code and that I need to go back to the store to get replacement. I told her that no store within 250miles carry the product. She had no options to offer me. Transferred me to another agent who then offered to ship an replacement again but also will not arrive in time. Contacted manufacturer directly and received a replacement code. Terrible customer service.”
“I’ve never had an issue with Best Buy but I ordered an Apple air tag and key chain holder. I literally received an empty bag from Best Buy (not a damaged package either) and now the item is, shockingly, unavailable. Processed my refund but obviously now I can’t get the product. But there was no date because the item was now unavailable. So I canceled and then they charged charged my account for the package discount even though they claimed item was in stock.
Do not trust Best Buy that your item will be delivered at all. They made me wait all that time and I think they know what they're doing just to get you to order from them.

A few hours later I get a text saying it was being returned and I will be issued a refund. No other explanation was given.
I go to the tracking information online and it tells me that they attempted to deliver my package but were unable to (which is untrue because I was home), then right underneath it, it says no attempt was made.
I call customer service to be on hold for 30 minutes. I finally get put through to someone and they transfer me to another department. I get placed on hold for another 20 minutes and when I finally get through, they hang up seconds later.
I decide to try and do the virtual chat with an assistant instead. I am told it will be a 45-minute wait...2 hours later, it's telling me there's a 35-minute wait, and (shocking) suddenly the chat won't load anymore and asks me to request assistance again (no thanks).
Don't get me wrong, I'm not upset that my item was returned - I understand these things happen. I'm upset that I am not given an explanation why and am also unable to reach anyone to help me, and the tracking notifications are completely inconsistent (don't tell me you made an attempt to deliver the package then say no attempt was made - confusing much?).”

No reps, no supervisors will take account for their problems that this big chain store has. You will never see your money again! I went throug 24 people from reps,to supervisors, to waiting on hold for along time to get hung up on a few times, to finally getting an email stating I will not get a refund even though it was an employee of Best Buy who wrote my address wrong for my item to be delivered. They will blame UPS and also you for what went wrong. I will never ever ever shop at this place again, and I will make sure I will let my family and friends know as well.
I will never see $4,000 worth of items I've ordered that I needed. As they closed the investigation when I asked months ago to fix the problem to be escalated. Nothing was done.”

I ordered 3 simple items on 12/13/21; a PC monitor, a mouse/keyboard combo and a DVI to HDMI cable for the monitor. I was given an option of same day delivery by 9:00 PM of the 3 items or choose next day delivery (12/14/21) by 8:00 PM. I figured this would give Best Buy an extra day to ensure all 3 items would come on 12/14/21 since their order confirmation e-mail stated delivery on 12/14/21. The only item I received on 12/14/21 was the mouse/keyboard. I asked the Shipt driver where the monitor and cable are as she stated it may be on a separate vehicle. I logged onto Best Buy and the order status showed the monitor being delivered, the keyboard / mouse was delayed and the DVI to HDMI cable would be delivered by 12/28/21. I called over and over and the Best Buy customer support is useless. So, after ordering in good faith, Best Buy is just so fraudulent; I cannot trust them nor any of their delivery quotes. I explained to Best Buy customer support that I need the monitor and cable to work from home.
A asked the customer support person to contact the delivery company Shipt and as them to pick up my items and deliver them since that is what I paid for. A "Ken" said he has no way to contact the shipping company and cannot connect me to ANY manager.
I now have spent hours on the phone, waiting by my front porch to ensure the monitor is safe and Best Buy customer support cannot even connect me to a manager.
This is the first online order with Best Buy since 2009; I should have learned my lesson better and not logged onto any Best Buy web sites.
Best Buy does not understand that customers order online to hopefully save time, money, frustrations and aggravations.
This Best Buy policy of doing nothing and fraudulently presenting their products and delivery dates is not worth the hassle anymore to me; should have learned from my 2009 order; I figured roughly 12 years later for my next order would give Best Buy many years to be professional.”
“Went to Sioux City store to purchase a new dryer.when I walked in they asked if I needed assistance. Told the lady I wanted to buy a dryer, she said she would send someone to appliances. 15 minutes later I asked her if anyone was coming. She said everyone was busy, they didn’t look that busy but she said she would do me a favor and answer some questions. I said I needed a gas dryer. Her answer was we don’t stalk them and it would take 2 weeks to order 1. I said it needs to convert to propane. She told me I would have to go to Lowes and purchase the adapter myself. I said maybe I should just go to Lowes then. She said okay. So shout out to Lowes! Got a great deal on a new dryer and great service to. Don’t think I’ll be back to Best Buy”
“My husband and I recently visted the Best Buy store in Humble, Texas. We purchase a refrigerator and TV. The sales consultant was charning and very good at helping us spend our money. He was so helpful that he decided to write a check that he could not cash. He told us that he would notate in our account so we would not have to pay for the installation kit for the TV to be wall mounted with the wires going through the wall instead of being visible. To our surprise, the installation team called us not only requesting that we pay the fee prior to installation, the consultant notated in our account that we would pay the fee on installation day. This was total OPPOSITE of the commitment that the Best Buy Consultant made with us. Ironically when attempting to speak with the consultant, he was on vacation. When attempting to speak with the consultant’s supervisor, I was talked at and told that his employee does not lie, and it was a miscommunication. His code of ethics was to solve the miscommunication by punishing the customer. The options given was we could purchase the service, not purchase the service, or take our business elsewhere. That does not seem in line with the advertised Code of Ethics from the Best Buy CEO. Although the supervisor’s demeanor was pleasant, he was TOTALLY dismissive of fault and not open to rectifying it. At the end of the conversation, he also felt the need to exert his authority by telling me, the customer, that no one EVER reverses his decisions. It is sad and unsettling that after being a loyal customer for 20+ years, I was basically told to shove it and no loyalty was given to me, one of the people that pays his salary.”
“Original order was incorrectly shipped so never left Best Buy even though I received so many emails stating it was “arriving tomorrow”. They kept saying it would come and it didn’t. Then asked for a reship and they used an incorrect address. Contacted for the 3rd time saying to send to original sending address. They did not update this after they promised they would. Cancelled order and then receive a text that it is being delivered to the wrong address BEST BUY put down: had to spend 45 minutes on the phone trying to see where this order was as it was in a car being delivered to me and her boss wouldn’t let her drive it to the correct address so I almost had it but because Best Buy messed up I couldn’t. Received multiple reference numbers that led to no where,. Still unsure if I will ever get my money back or if BEST BUY just stole from me.
