Customer Service is not responsive! I booked at 2023 Antarctica trip at the advertised price. My credit card was charged at the advertised price. The next day I was told there was a mistake on the website and the actual cost was an additional 4K. That is FALSE ADVERTISING!!!! I can not get customer service to work through this issue! I booked a trip through Bookmundi rather than direct with the travel operator itself, simply because Bookmundi was offering a modest discount on the price. While this meant dealing with a third party for follow up queries, they were responsive, helpful and fair (for example, when I wanted to add an optional extra activity, they charged exactly the same as the operator despite the extra work this caused them). Very happy to recommend Bookmundi to others based on my experience with them so far.

Bookmundi has been incredibly responsive and supportive with rescheduling my trips after COVID-19 cancellations. I appreciated their willingness to extend my voucher and to help me apply it to new orders. Sarah was particularly helpful!

It’s my fault for not checking out all details-I didn’t know it was for a small group for rich folks who are more daring than me, at 70, so I cancelled my reservation.

Bookmundi referred me to a travel agent in an adjacent country to our destination country. The money was collected through Bookmundi, but all arrangements were made through Say Hueque in Argentina. While the people at Say Hueque were very nice, their response time to inquiries was consistently slow. After final payment, we were promised our final itinerary between 10 and 30 days prior to departure. I inquired about this with Say Hueque and was promised I would receive it shortly. We are currently 7 days from departure and have not received our itinerary despite repeated requests. An email inquiry to Bookmundi several days ago has not received a response. We were planning on doing some final trip planning based on the itinerary, but this is going to be difficult now. This will be my last booking with either company.

Overall, I was able to book my trip and it's a trip I would not have found without bookmundi. I will use the service again, but I've learned that last minute bookings (in this case, a safari less than one month from the departure date) is not a great idea. The time it took for the actual tour operator (not bookmundi) to confirm the trip was a cause of high stress, as we had many other arrangements hinging on this trip. I think this service works best when planning farther in advance.

The booking experience was a bit disappointing, especially compared to similar companies. I booked a tour, and received a message after the fact that confirmation could take up to 48 hours. As frequently happens on vacation, we were remaining flexible and therefore making some plans on the fly, including this one. The booking was confirmed the next morning, which was great—but then immediately canceled because they “couldn’t verify information for second traveler”—information that I entered in the website when I booked. They took my email and mobile number, what was the point of all that if not to be used in cases like this? Happily, they processed a refund immediately, but if they are unable to take short orders they should just say that clearly on the website before people go through the whole booking process. I made the reservation a day and a half ahead of time.

Since your booking was close to departure and since you had entered the same traveller details for both traveller 1 and traveller 2, we decided to cancel the booking and process a refund instantly to ensure that you did not risk having to pay for 2 travelers, if you meant to be only 1 traveler. The service provided has been refreshing. My question get answered and my interest in deviations to the tour are communicated to the tour operator. They have been able to get a quick response from the tour operator and communicate to me what can be achieved, allowing me to make the best decision for my needs. Pricing was also good. I would use them again.

Working with Bookmundi to plan and book my trip was great! They are very quick to respond by email, and also very tailored in their approach to addressing questions and issues that arose with my booking. I haven't yet gone on my trip (It's next week!), but Bookmundi has definitely made the planning process very smooth and I would use them again!

There was no profile for the second traveler. Bookmundi lists a number for US (next to an American flag) which calls India whose hours are 9-5 India Time. This is less than useful for people living in time zones which are 10.5 hours different. Accomodations were good, however for that many people involved, few were helpful. Information was severely lacking, for example, the fact that US credit cards were non-functional: at banks, hotels (that is NOWHERE). The phone requires a Cuban sim card. In spite of these barricades to a happy vacation, but the fact I do like Rum and Mojitos both which in ample supply.

In Bookmundi, we do not automatically create a profile for the second traveler as information like email address, nationality, password and username is needed for us to be able to create the profile for you. Excellent service. Many local agents told me being too short of time to visit Machu Piccu from Lima as I only have 1.5 day. However, bookmundi link me to an agent, Erik Krause whose quickly find me solution and revert with outside the box solution. He also provide good information and alternatives.

Really loved how easy it was to book. It was the best price online, better than the actual tour organiser's offer. The payment option helps me plan my finances over the upcoming months as I only needed to pay a deposit. I like the variety of tour options to choose from and how quick the team are to respond to any questions. I've already recommend Bookmundi to 5 friends.

I am an 82 year old man. I booked a tour in Morocco. On receiving the detailed itinerary I realized my wife and I were incapable of physically going on the tour. I cancelled the tour the next day. I had paid for the tour, $2100 in full. I was two days within the cancellation policy. Bookmundi would not refund my money.!

Please note that once your booking has been confirmed, the operations team have to use the deposit payment to book services (hotels, transportations services, entry tickets, etc.) in advance. Please note that going by the Cancellation Policy, only your deposit payment is non-refundable. Hence, we have already processed a refund of the remaining amount back to you.
