BEWARE. (I dealt with a customer service rep called "Dips") I was offered a Pioneer ex-display head unit at £669. Just £79 cheaper than new retail price (with only half warranty and lots of disclaimers that the unit may have scratches, parts missing etc). I asked for information on the unit, has it been repaired or just unwanted by the customer etc. 4 attempts would not get me an answer. Extremely evasive and it felt very much like they were hiding something so I even said that was how it sounded and they still didn't answer, confirming my suspicion in my view. A company this size not keeping sales records or details of why a unit was returned? No, something not right there. BEWARE! Ask questions, and see how honest you think they are being with you BEFORE you buy.

Ordered a radio and paid for next day. It arrived late. They said I placed the order to late for next day. Why did they still take the next day delivery charge????

Payed for next day delivery on 17/7/17 and still not received the product (23/7/17). Emailed them and they said it's outwith their power an offered no help at all.

Very very very disappointed in the system. I brought this for £700 only to find out after I got installed there is no sound, to install it cost me £300 and then to rewire it another £100, the problems did not stop there, there is no AUX, the Bluetooth only works for phone calls not for music as I have a samsung S6. I would never recommend ever. I am very upset

There was a speaker missing from the box, I contacted Car Audio by email but have not received any response, I contacted them by phone and was told it was the manufacturers problem and they would contact them to see what they say. Still waiting for some contact from Car Audio

Absolutely terrible company, terrible customer service, terrible attitude to everything, don't waste your time ordering here you will just waste more time trying to get it back!

Ordered an amp last week and they sent me a different one. No explanation. I've sent several emails asking what's going on but they haven't bothered replying. Very disappointed.

I ordered an amplifier from them and when it arrived it was the wrong one. I have contacted them via email twice now to ask what's going on but they haven't responded. I have used them before and they have been excellent however on this occasion I'm very disappointed.

I ordered an IPS 210 from Car Audio Centre. It was listed on their website as in stock. A stereo came a couple of days later, although not the model that I ordered. The model that arrived was, apparently, 'an upgrade'. Trouble is, I wanted the model I wanted, not a random upgrade. I chose to return it. The returns process has not been good so far. I received a returns address, but have had to pay for the return postage myself (no pre-printed label as many suppliers provide) and so far, five days after posting the item for return, have heard nothing from Car Audio Centre. Things don't always go as planned, and I can live with that, But so far, Car Audio Centre have done a good job with communication, and that's one of the things you really want from an on-line retailer when things don't go as planned. So one star from me at present...

Unit had been previously installed as there was chewing gum stuck between the bag an the metal sleeve and the USB extention lead was wrapped in tape instead of plastic coated wire. I know the unit was on sale but there was no information about the possibility of it being previously used/installed.

Very poor customer service, Ordered a product which became faulty after 1 days use. Having received a refund or a exchange product for over 7 days. No communication at all but have been told since Monday that the product will be dispatch to me tomorrow, Every time I call, I am told the product will be dispatched tomorrow.

Very poor customer service, faulty second hand products, nothing but automated email, fairly shocking in this day and age, did get a refund for my purchase but nothing related to the unit I brought, no clue as to why this was a second hand unit, nothing on why it didn't work, no response from them at all, and when I tried to ring for some info the telephone listed does not work, very poor all round.

Purchased a new road angel gem had things missing from its box have had to phone up four times asking questions and getting part sent out that were missing from the box spoken to 4 different operators who have given me conflicting information each time from the prior operator not very good customer service

Poor service and no communication. Ordered 3 items with one day delivery and only 2 showed up. Phoned to enquire where my other item is and was told it was out of stock (which it isn't according to the site) and would be delivered to me early the following week. By the Thursday I was annoyed as I still had no communication regarding my missing item so I phoned again. I was told the item was getting shipped to me that day from the manufacturer and would definitely arrive on the Friday. It is now Saturday afternoon, the phone line is closed for the weekend and the person who answered my email says that I should phone. If the company had bothered to talk to me rather than me having to phone them this review might be more positive. If they had out of stock on their website then it would be an improvement. If they acknowledged that the item had not been delivered rather than been lumped in with the rest of the items which are marked as dispatched on my online account then I may have been more favourable. As it is then I cannot recommend Car Audio Centre.
