“Booked and paid for car for 14 days.Pickup said 10.00am.I thought i can pick up from 10.00am.My flight details given shows i not arrive until 12.25.No car waiting and no refund .Scam from the start.I don't know how this company is not regulated and closed down as the reviews speak for themselves”
“Booked a car through this site for my elderly relative over from Australia but when she then went to collect the car the agent said they didn’t have one available! Eventually after a long wait a car was found for them but not before putting a lot of stress on her, I would not use this site again & most definitely wouldn’t recommend it.”

I was duped, and—as I read here—so were many others. The whole thing appears to be a scam, with no legal recourse for victims of abuse.”
“This company would get NO stars if there was an option to. Reference CJT-33349675. My mother paid for a car to be used 01/02/20-19/01/20. Prior to the 01/02/20 she called to move the collection date from 01/02/20 to 02/02/20 but, for some reason, the change request was not actioned and when she went to collect the car, on 02/02/20, she was told the booking had been cancelled. She had NOT cancelled the booking. She was then told that if she required a car she had to pay for another booking and that the payment for the original booking would not be refunded. Clearly this has caused and elderly, vulnerable, pensioner great stress and inconvenience. All she wanted to do is use the car that she had paid for. When you call to take the matter up they leave you hanging for ages and cut you off. When you email Carjet and DoYouSpain they take no responsibility for their agent not carrying out the request they were asked to do. They have failed to provide their escalation process and we have asked them to listen to the recorded call which they have not proved they have done. It seems their policy now is to simply just ignore any further correspondence.”

“experience. First, everything looked good, I did the booking and paid. A few days before the pickup date I got an email that I didn't pay and if I want the car, I should follow the link in the email and pay. I got freak out. There was NO PHONE NUMBER on their web page, just information that they don't have a call centre because of their low prices...great... NOBODY ANSWER on their email, so I did a huge mistake and paid again, hoping we could figure out the problem on spot. We couldn't. When I got there, there were 2 bookings on my name, but no one could cancel it. I tried to do it myself, but it was too late, I only got a phone number to Spain... Better late than never? Nope. The lady told me she cannot help me because it's after pick up time... It was after pick up time because I was trying to figure out the situation for a good 20 minutes. Nobody care. I needed also to buy another insurance since I don't own credit card and the insurance I bought was just for CarJet (somehow didn't know that).
I wrote an email complain and STILL WAIT FOR THE ANSWER. Could they at least answer? Honestly, never going to use them again.”

I only give this company one star because there is no option to give them zero!!! CarJet at Albufeira Airport is the most disreputable firm that I have ever dealt with. They advertise and promise cars that they cannot deliver on. My son was scheduled to pick up a car at Faro airport. He wasted an hour after a very long trip only to find that they had totally misrepresented their offerings on websites and were a scam organization. As you can see from the numerous horrible reviews on all consumer websites, Carjet is a company to stay completely away from.My son was unable to get a rental and yet they refused to refund the prepaid rental. So it is necessary to contest the charges with the credit card company. Since this company lies on site and on websites, I assume they will lie there too. There were others at the car rental at the same time as my son and those who actually took a car from this organization reported worse experiences!”

Car pickup location is in Crawley! You need to take a local bus (not a special car rental company bus) to get to a car rental office. Bus service frequency is 45 minutes! Our car was dreadful with numerous dents. You need to count them all in peach darkness of the night.
I don't want to tell the whole story as it would take a long time, simply avoid them! No money can compensate for the awful 'service' they pretend to provide.”
“Warning for CarJet. They have put in systems to deceive the customer. I booked and paid in advance incl. CarJet extra insurance. When I picked up the car at Firefly they demanded 95 Euro for because I did not have a credit card, only a debit card. True, CarJet writes this in fine print, but most people do not see it. Probably CarJet and Firefly do this together and share the profits. I demanded the money back but did not get it, a week's car rental in smoke. I recommend AutoEurope or Rental Cars instead, none of which behave badly. Booked car today via Rental Cars / Hertz and last week with AutoEurope / Europcar, no problem just using debit cards.”
“Do not use Carjet. They did not send my booking amendment to the car hire company so my booking was cancelled and I had to pay the full amount on the day. They have then refused to compensate me for the difference”
“Car booked showed as free amendments. Airline changed our flight times so I tried to amend the booking on line to change car pick up/drop off time. I was then told that the 1 hour time change would be charged as though a new rental at that days rate and was being asked for approx 50 euro extra, so I did not make the change and decided to contact them directly. They cAnnot be contacted by email, you are always taken to their web site, and are held with ‘we’ll be with you soon’ message for ages when calling the number of the named person for Car Jet - Claire Davis it is a long distance Spanish number. I have emailed directly to the car hire company and hope they will collect us at the earlier flight time, but as yet I have received no reply from them. I do not recommend CarJet as they need to have some way to contact them and not only to do everything through set online processes.”
“Car jet are a broker not a car hire company. The company they directed us to at Malta Airport was Sur Price ( we had read the reviews and wanted to avoid them at all costs). Horror stories of customers getting fleeced out of hundreds of pounds for invented damage claims. They also state “no cancellation fee” on their website which is a lie. Once we phoned them and they directed us we cancelled. They refused to pay us back. Sur Price only accept credit cards as they can claim unlimited funds for repairs that they claim. Avoid these scammers at all costs. Just read the reviews. We are also reported them to the Maltese authorities and the airport management.”
“People say that your company is a SCAM company, is that ture? I booked my car to travel to Glasgow airport. When I arrived with my family to collect our car they told us we needed utility bills, bank statements which you did not say was required, your terms and conditions are not clear at all. Not just my family stranded there confused and furstrated, many people were in the same situation as us. We were tired and furstrated for many hours, we tried calling your company many times and even their number is not a UK number, yet you claim to be a UK company. No one picked up the phone and now my phone bill is going to be sky high this month. Your customer service is non existent. My family and other people were in Glasgow airport for the whole morning for our hire cars, we couldn't come to any solution. We tried to transfer, or cancel our booking, now your company telks us that our booking is non-refundable. We will keep trying to fight this case. We do not think it's fair at all.”

Bought a car for pickup at station near me. car company was nowhere near the station. The voucher said the company would send a shuttle but they refused to do so because there was small print somewhere saying I had to book the shuttle the day before. So I had to travel all the way across the city to the hire company and then drive in traffic all the way back. Do not use Car Jet. They mislead people. They are untrustworthy.”

Nonostante i documenti alla mano, Hertz non riconosceva la loro full insurance. Dopo avermi consigliato di richiedere il rimborso a Carjet (perchè la assicurazione non copriva), mi sono ritrovata ad aver pagato 2 assicurazioni per 150 euro. Carjet non rimborsa proprio niente!!!!!! E poi non risponde neanche alle e-mai.
