“Hired a car for 8 days and paid additional waiver insurance was told to print voucher and collect car, went to collect car and was told debit card was not accepted and I would have to pay additional £25 per day insurance with easirent n. ireland. When i informed them I had already taken insurance with carjet they refused to listen to my side of the story and i was unable to get car as I could not pay the additional fee. I emailed carjet and cancelled the booking they sent me email saying I was only being refunded £45 of £221 paid. I have sent them emails disputing this but can't get a reply. Absolutely disgusted by the customer service I have received please DO NOT deal with this company its not worth it.”

“I have been charged 184 euros as a fine and a service charge for a 173 cost of 3 days hire. I was not told that the toll sensor was not activated, which their customer service colleague said was supposed to be. The cost of the toll charges was around 40 I was told. I sent them 2 emails regarding this but they never bothered to reply. I am not surprised that their average rating is just above 1 star. Keep away. The price might entice you, but they make sure you pay later more than what you bargained for.”

palma de mallorca:bin durch doyouspain auf carjet.com gestossen und mietcontract für eine woche incl.vollkoasko(100%) abgeschlossen-bin 11:30 in airport palma bei der fa record rent a car erschienen um auto abzuholen. record verlangte von mir nochmal 238€ für versicherung und oder 2000€ deposit-die ich schon online bezahlt hatte.habe nach viele unsinnige discussion herausgefunden dass alles nur abzocke war-wollte bei record den vertrag anullieren das ging nicht und muss bei carjet machen-also nach 25 minütigen wählen hat jemand abgehoben und 2 mal wieder aufgelegt als die dame heraus found(anruf bei record)dass ich anullieren will sagte muss ich online machen-pick up war 12 uhr-nach viele hinhalterei bei record-anruf bei carjet war nun 12:30 -sofort kam eine email ich hätte zuspät anulliert daher kein refund-also steckte carjet mit record unter einer decke um ans geld zu kommen-werde natürlich in andere foren auch bekannt geben und mein anwalt soll sich drum kümmern-also WARNUNG und seinen sie vorsichtig-in diese coronazeit werden sie betrogen”

“Despite what was booked - no meet and greet, no automatic car, very old and damaged car, extra fee for out of hours return, no apology and just ignored 3 emails of complaint. Avoid, cheap and "nasty"”
“Sadly my experience is the same as many others,. In summary , no car , an attempt by the “ cheap” hire ( Easirent Rent a Car) company to double the cost by trying to charge for insurance which costs more than the hire (900 pounds, ) despite me having taken an insurance excess policy via CarJet.com , and then subsequently try to hire a more expensive car to me. Result after 2 visits and about 5hrs wasted time no car and 50 pounds for Taxi fares.
Attempted to contact CarJet .com by phone around 30 times in one day everytime got a line busy message and cut off, no email contact in their website .
So I contacted my credit card provider to raise a dispute as they took over 900 pounds for no car !!
Avoid like the plague !!”
“I hired a car from CarJet in Dublin for 8th until the 13th Oct 2021 but had to cancel the day before because of illness have emailed several times without hearing a word back,it states on their advert full refund but they sent me £10 + which I will return, I would never deal with JETCAR or recommend them to anyone, be aware people”
“Please think twice before renting with them and read more reviews. I rented a car in Crete-Greece in June 2021. They took 1500 euros from my credit card that was supposed to be a holding deposit, but they actually withdrew the money from my account immediately. they said they will refund me when I return the car. When they were supposed to refund me after returning the vehicle, they simply did not reply to me anymore to any of my emails or calls. They never refunded me the money. I only just managed to get my money back after 4 months only by disputing the charge with my bank. If you ever rent from them, keep hold of your contract as this is what saved me to be able to prove to the bank that I had a right to be refunded when I disputed the charge. CarJet is a complete scam and I really don't recommend it to anyone.”
