Rent a car at home by CarJet.
They charge to much for insurrance.
They also have no car, and do it by other companys.
When you want to cancel the insurrance they do not answer their email.
Better do insurrance at the company you get your car.”

Yes they offer one of the best rates, but at what 'cost', if one ends up with trouble and gets no customer support?!

“I was using Carjet.com in Iceland. Booked a car and payed insurance in advance 53€...by the contract I would have payed an other 188€ at arrival in Reykjavik. It's already a pretty expensive rent for 4days, but I choose it because I don't have a credit card...so it's my bad. But! Than at arrival they made pay 350€ instead of 188€. Of course it was after midnight when I arrived and it was not possible to call anyone from Carjet, but as it appears later it's pretty difficult to call them during the day as well and it's not the biggest problem. The company organised the rent in Iceland has nothing to do with Carjet, they have there own prices what they count with obviously and there is no connection between the company's. So after more than a month noone cares my complain. Every time I can reach Carjet after waiting on the line for 20-40mins, they just say they sorry and that the other company doesn't answer. Thanks Carjet for nothing! 404€, 4days, Toyota Yaris 👎”

Paid 380€ plus insurance for two weeks car rent in Madeira. Because of storm we couldn’t land in Madeira airport and stayed for the night in Las Palmas. I emailed Carjet immediately and told them about our situation. When we flew back to Madeira day after nobody was waiting for us from the company. I tried to call their support many times with no answer, they don’t answer to emails either, So we paid 380€ for two weeks car rent with no car. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!must be a way to stop this fraudsters with so many bad reviews, if anybody knows how to start a legal action against Carjet please advise to avoid more people suffer”
“Avoid this company...... They took 50 euros online and they said we will pay 150 euros when we take the car..... We we wanted to take the car the company said we have not received any money from carjet so they ask again for 200 euros instead of 150 euros..... We are calling them and no correct answer from them..... Horrible company ...”

“I'll never use this site again (carjet.com) and wouldn't recommend anyone to. I thought i'd managed to get myself a bargain until i got to pick the car from the actual car hiring company.
On the website i'd found a deal for about £120, then with added "insurance" it came to about £150.
I received an email from Carjet, and at the end of the email it mentioned leaving a £1500 deposit to the car hire company (which was to be refunded). I thought it was some mistake, but when i picked the car, lo and behold. The only other option was to pay £30 a day insurance, so my bill ended up being £300 to hire a car for 5 days. On the website it never mentioned anything like that.”

I made a reservation to pick up a car at Madeira airport but I got the date wrong. I called a few hours later to help me but they denied the change and said they would keep the payment even without me enjoying the services. Is there no customer satisfaction policy for these types of situations? It was a booking error, not a cancellation.”
“This company 'amended' my booking by stating that original car is not available and offering me an inferior car at the same money and outside the airport pick up (although I specifically booked car rental co on the airport). Trying to call them and as waited over 20 min without answer). Not reliable!”
“Never had any similar experience before about car renting. 1-They didn't give me the car I had chosen. 2- They withdrew the deposit from the credit card (and not just blocked as everyone does) despite the fact that I had paid full inclusive insurance. 3- They refunded only part of my money , just after more than 1 month, following my repeated emails. So aggravating the interest I had to pay on my credit card, plus they kept additional € 20 . That's why they are so cheap. Because afterwards they screw you in another way. Absolutely avoid this company. On the picture below I show the amount of money they took from my credit card and the amount of money they refunded me a month later.”

BOOKED A CAR FOR 3 days. Paid by credit card. When I received the booking confirmation email, it stated I had to pay a £2505 Deposit when I pick up car!!!!
I replied to the email immediately telling them to cancel my booking.
Did not get a reply, sent 4 mote emails no reply. Next day they sent An email saying cancellation had to be before pick up, which is what I did. I WILL BE TAKING FURTHER ACTION. THEY NEED CLOSING DOWN. STILL NOT HAD MY REFUND.
