“I reserved a car from Europcar through Carjet, for a month long trip in France, paid in full up front. I arrived 2 hour and 30 minutes after my reservation time because of delays at customs, and because the rental car counter was on the complete opposite side of the terminal. A smirking Europcar agent, obviously going through a well rehearsed routine, told me that they only held reservations for 2 hours and that they didn’t have my car anymore -which was a lie according their own app-. They couldn’t reimburse me because I used Carjet but they had an SUV available for $30/day more.
Carjet said I should have read the fine print, that they were only required to hold reservations for 1 hour, and they were not going to reimburse me anything either.
These people are organized crooks of the most unethical kind. Avoid at all cost!”

When we landed after a huge flight there was no car reserved for us and because it was late at night there were no cars available that we could take. Europcar really did try to help but they said Jetcar had not even contacted them with my booking. Ended up taking a taxi - So basically I never received a car, and they have never refunded me, after months of emails - not a cent. They are a bunch of crooks”

“I booked van from carjet 22.04, they took my money, and after few hours they send message there are no vans available. I say refund my money, they say I must wait for one month because they have "automatic" system and "I need to wait for the system process to conclude. It is imperative, and there is no room for discussion on this matter." So, no van for me, and cannot refund my money for a month. I reported them to my bank and they cancel transaction. Hidden fees!! Dreadful customer service They were not helpful at all. All kinds of excuses why we could not take our prepaid car. So we left unsatisfied and of course no refund.
We wrote several complaint letters. Their respond was the same story as we got at the airport.

Ayant 76 ans j’ai loué un véhicule VW Golf en notifiant comme conducteur mon fils âgé de 49 ans. J’ai payé avec ma carte visa crédit. Mon fils n’ayant pas de carte crédit mais seulement une carte debit l’agent de location a refusé la location malgré mon insistance à lui proposer ma carte crédit pour la caution.
J’ai relancé une autre location qui n’a pas abouti dans la demi heure qui a suivi.
Je me suis alors tourné vers une autre agence avec un prix plus que doublé.
Vous comprendrez mon mécontentement envers cet agent. D’autant plus plus que l’an dernier à Rhodes la caution avait été prise sur ma carte crédit.
Je vous demande au minimum le remboursement de mes deux acomptes.
