“Scam!!! Please avoid at all costs! Quoted price for rental, got charged about about 10 times the cost on arrival. Cancelled and we took Uber to our hotel. Currently pursing my refund though my credit card company.
I will also pursue refund of fees paid to Carjet.

“I had a negative experience with CarJet too. I do (now) understand that Carjet is an online broker who seem to make money by tricking customers into dodgy deals in various ways. What happened in my case: I booked a car for pick-up at Edinburgh Airport (EDI), got the confirmation all fine, then decided to postpone the pickup time, went to their website to do so. I got a confirmation again, and there I failed to spot something strange - my pick-up location for the car had changed to Castellon, Spain! Yes, you're allowed to laugh because it was probably 'my fault' after all, not checking before pressing the submission button. Long story short, went to pick up the car at EDI where I was notified that my original rental voucher had been cancelled somehow, and the new Rental Voucher said that I'd have to pickup the car at 12:30 in Castellon. As it was a bit late for that, I could book another car on the spot at a 'discount' - which equals the fact that if I'd booked directly with a legitimate dealer I'd have paid a similar price without the hassle. Need to note again here that the car rental office itself is not CarJet! Remains my guess if they are part of the scheme or legitimate. I learned my lesson (which includes keeping one's eyes open online, reading all the small print, checking confirmations twice over). And always cancel immediately online once you received the confirmation and something looks not ok.”
“Had booked a car for morocco and the local car rental company brought me the car a day later because my plane was delayed he rented the car to someone else. I was 4 hours late picking it up, he said.
so i had to take a hotel because it was already evening.
Next day, the car was delivered and I paid €384,- with my credit card, but Carjet charged my credit card €518,75. I have been emailing Carjet for weeks now to get this straightened out and it still hasn't been resolved.
I often rent cars, because i travel a lot for work, but i will never use the Carjet website again. customer service is very important to me. if something goes wrong, you have to be there for the customer, but unfortunately that is not the case with Carjet. at the end there responce is :

Wow.. they just took €135, - from me and this is their answer. Please be aware of carjet.com they are not the cheapest but the one with the badest customer service I ever had. Please check other websites for your car rental as check-24.com or on Booking.com or other websites you can also check prices of your car rental. But stay away from carjet.com.”

“I booked a car online through Car Jet in Kefalonia.
I was offered full cover insurance which I bought in good faith, that was a HUGE MISTAKE
When I picked the car up, I was told I had to buy full cover insurance, €15 per day, I informed WHEE GO car hire I’d bought it, had all paperwork to show I’d bought it, told they weren’t given that information by Car Jet?
I was told I had to allow €700 euros to be taken from my card and held by a bank for a whole month before it was refunded!
Otherwise pay another €105, there was no other choice! Held to ransom I had to pay €105 that’s €15 x 7 days
I have been scammed by both companies.
DO NOT BUY INSURANCE FROM CAR JET, IT WILL COST YOU DOUBLE unless your prepared to allow €700 to be taken from your card and held for a month
Car jet will tell you AFTER you’ve bought the insurance, the car hire will BLOCK €700 and return it, if car is undamaged!
All the hire cars are damaged I have photos of dozens of marks on the car I hired, told by car hire guy to take them.
I don’t believe the €700 will be returned

Extremely difficult to modify a booking , and by the time you are able to , low and behold this only happens after the 48 hour booking period, and if it’s not possible to modify (for example the modify pick up time is after hours , the only option is to cancel the entire booking and loose all you money ).”
“The rental company rep didn't collect us on time from airport, he was even not on the way when we rang the rental company,so we got to office to collect car well after 10pm. And we were informed that we have to pay the late collection fee €80 and that insurance we have booked with carjet will not be accepted , and we were told that we need to pay now extra €200. When we tried contact the carjet.com we were getting stupid replays that we can't cancel our reservation, or modify or refund because its outside the reservation time. We booked and turned up to get our car from Gold Car at Faro airport to be told there were service charges we had to pay on top of the online price.
