“Booked through carjet, and turned up at Drivalia to be told that Carjet had cancelled my policy 20 minutes after booking without notifying me and without refund! They refuse to refund this and have said it is not their fault! Trading Standards have been informed and are taking the case. Communication is very little, cant get hold of them at all.”

“We had a very unpleasant experience last Saturday night when collecting the rental at the Salzburg airport.
The communication for the pickup was clear and well received.
But the information was not correct.
After the flight landed, +/- 22:30 we walked to the collection point.
When we looked for the contact person at the 3'th floor parking lot, as described in the instructions, we could not find anyone.
Therefore we called the number, and our contact person provided another address, we had some challenges to find the address, and it took two calls for us to find the new location. It was about 3 minutes drive from the airport, at a deserted shopping mall parking.
We did not felt comfortable (not safe) at this parking, but did find our contact person who was waiting in the car.
The answer to my question; why meet at this unsafe location? His respond; he was not allowed to meet at the airport due to police orderings...
The contact person was quite friendly and therefore I continued the conversation until I noticed that the car had Bulgarian licence plates, and to be clear Salzburg is in Austria! Due to the fact that we had to cross borders, he strongly recommended to take another route to Zell am See via an alternative route.
He offered for us to pay another +/- 90 Euro's and then we would be permitted to cross borders....
From my past at working for the Dutch Emergency center (ANWB Dutch AA), I know that's driving a car with a foreign licence plate is not permitted, unless you drive straight to the collection point, to swap cars for a local licence plate.
Long story short, I did not trust this situation and we canceled the car on the spot as our contact person offered.
We really had a bad experience and at the end we left, without a rental..”

“i rented a car from Carjet and went to the counter to collect my car today but was canceled by Europcar as they do not accept Malaysian licenses on the MyJPJ app. This is beyond my control as our government stopped issuing physical card driving licenses for all renewals and replaced it with MyJPJ app. I have also presented my physical international driving license to the counter but still was refused.
When I renewed my license, our government no longer provided a physical card driving license and it's an app on our mobile phone. But I brought along my international license physical card to ensure I have the original yet I was declined.
However, Mr. Devon Briggs from Europacar was kind enough to ask other car companies if they could accept my driving license on the mobile app. Enterprise Car Rental accepted so Europcar cancelled my bookings and requested me to contact Carjet for a refund.
I, immediately called Carjet Customer Service to ask for a refund but was refused. The reason given was I did not present physical documents and they can't do anything. I demanded a contact for complaint and they sent me a link.
In the confirmation email, stated under the driver requirements, it was stated to bring an international driving permit with your original license. MyJPJ app is my original license. And I did not print out or screenshot (video attached). I also brought along my original international driving license as evidence. It's not my fault if our government does not issue physical driving license card anymore.”
“Because of the recent floods in Dubai ,my flight was cancelled and resulted in me making arrival 2 days late to pick up the car I had booked and paid for thru carjet.i had notified Carjet via email of my predicament,but I did not see this as a problem as I had paid in full upfront. On arrival at 10.45 at night with my 10 year old daughter ,with all my baggage lost ,I was told there was no car for me as they only kept the car for 24 hours. They were in no way apologetic to the situation they had put me in,and told me they had no other car and suggested using one of the nearby car rental companies in Dublin airport.left with no alternative I ended up using sixt and had to pay almost 3 times the amount I had paid for the car I should have been getting.since then communication has been nearly non existent.except for a voucher to use in the next 12 months in Europe.not much good as I live in Sydney.i have given up on getting any sort of refund.
But hopefully this might stop someone else getting ripped of from a flyby night company with no integrity.”

“Unsere Erfahrung mit Carjet war katastrophal.
Wir haben vorab einen Mietwagen gebucht, alles bezahlt!
Unser Flug ging von Wien nach Neapel, und wir hatten wetterbedingt Verspätung, kamen dann viel später wie geplant an. Ich versuchte ständig telefonisch wen zu erreichen (ohne Erfolg), schrieb eine Nachricht und Flugnummer hatten sie auch von uns (wird ja empfohlen falls der Flug Verspätung hat)
Dann ging es los, laut Buchung hieß es wir müssen eine Nummer anrufen und werden dann von Flughafen abgeholt. Wieder das selbe, niemanden erreicht.
Gut, dann haben wir uns eigenständig ein Taxi genommen. Dort angekommen, total Chaos, alle sehr unfreundlich. Auf meine Frage wieso niemand abhebt am Telefon, gab es keine Antwort. Das Telefon läutete ständig und es wurde einfach nicht beantwortet. Sehr toll!!!!!
Naja, dann hab ich meine Buchungsbestätigung gezeigt, haben sie mir erklärt, die ist nicht mehr gültig weil wir zu spät sind. Unglaublich, dann hab ich erklärt, dass wir versucht haben anzurufen, wir haben geschrieben und sie haben unsere Flugnummer. War ihnen alles egal. Wir mussten darauf hin ein neues Auto buchen, obwohl schon alles vorab bezahlt war. Diese Zahlung war quasi nicht mehr aufrecht.
Die neue Buchung war viel teurer und keine Chance wir mussten nochmal alles und viel mehr bezahlen!

“Booked a car through the Carjet website for the same day (i paid the full amount which was around 80€).
They accepted my order to hire the car for a total of 3 days.
When i got to the car rental company they sent me to they asked me to cancel th order (around 30 min after the pickup time).
I tried to contact carjet company but i didnt recive any response, i cancelled the order, and all what i got was that they will not refund me due the delay in cancellation.
and they didn't respond to my e-mails.
Disgusting company should be avoided.”

I made a reservation and paid for it in advance. As stated on the voucher, I contacted the rental company on the day of pick-up to collect the car. To my surprise, I was informed that they did not have the car and that my reservation had been canceled. I received no information from CarJet about this. When I contacted them, I was told that I should have reported to the rental company - which I did! To this day - almost 3 weeks have passed - I have not only received no explanation of the situation or an apology, but even a refund for the unfulfilled service. Scammers. I advise you to avoid them.”
“Bad company they deal with thieves coz they are the same I rented a car from 724car rental in Istanbul through their website charged me 500 pound deposit back since 5 weeks and been trying to get my deposit back but not successful car jet rental they don’t help and the other company are saying that they share the deposit with car jet so both companies are a thief and gangsters.”
“Terrible terrible company. Flight was delayed so we tried to contact CarJet on the Spanish number given and after 8 or 9 attempts with no answer we had to give up. The car hire company Goldcar was closed by the time we arrived. The next morning we were told Carjet kindly cancelled our booking and won’t refund our flight money. So we are now on holiday for 1 week with no car! Carjet make reference to an obscure phrase on the contract about we had 59 minutes to advise of the delay but if THEY DONT ANSWER THE PHONE how can we advise them!
