They just didnt turn up to meet us when and where we agreed and left us in the airport unable to be contacted.
Information desk at the airport had no idea how to reach them or who they really were.
Ended up having to rent from Hertz.
They are now refusing to refund the money saying we never called, despite sending them screenshots of the multiple calls wigh exact timings. Completely ignoring the fact they didn't come in the first place.
Highly advise you rent with a legitimate company, this seems like a scam.”

I made a booking 4 days before my trip on a deal offered just to receive a mail the next day to say: Unfortunately we haven’t been able to confirm your booking this time. So had to do another booking and my biggest mistake was to do it through them.
When I arrived at Malta airport to pick the car, we were not able to pick the car up and the Hertz employee was an absolute gem trying to help us as much as he could.
He let us use the office phone to call the customer service number in Spain. Customer service is absolutely useless and rude. They basically robbed us of the cost of rental + a full insurance they did not even accept to cancel as we were not going to use it.
all she kept on telling us was: send an email.
We had to do a whole new booking with Hertz onsite.
Advise: When booking a car, book through a reputable company even though the prices might seem a bit higher...Carjet has a lot of hidden costs and they are an absolute scam!!!

“Scam artists- booked a car from airport 5 miles from my home as I am waiting for new car to be delivered. Rental office was few miles from airport - the minute I walked in the door they told me there was no way I was going to be able to produce all the documents they would need- I have screen shot of booking - said licence, passport and credit card. In fact they require both parts of licence, passport, 2(yes, 2) utility bills and proof of employment. I told them I was self employed- then I needed something from the tax office dated in the last 3 months- I said ‘ can I ring them??this is ridiculous’ he reamed off a number ‘ it’s in Spain, you will be on hold for 40 minutes- what is that going to cost you?’ But it wasn’t his problem. I don’t believe he had a car to hire me!! I cancelled the booking to get amessage confirming they charged me the entire 10 day hire fee for cancelling. Rip off- nothing on voucher about other documentation, inevitability hidden on page 13 of terms and conditions”
“I was unaware the uk drivers license was not good enough for carjet and the apparently need you to have a internal drivers licence.. i sowed up at delpaso and had to pay twice in order to use my standard uk licence!!! “I hired a car at Carjet via a company called "goldcar". They were supposed to pick me up at Athens airport and were not there.The phone number they gave me in case of 'emergency' was useless since there was nobody in their office on Sunday apparently... After more then 2 hours i found a driver of goldcar and he brought me to their office. I didnt want the car anymore since i had to cancel my planned bookings and made a new booking back in Athens. Long story short...still havent got my money back and havent heard from the office anymore after writing multiple e-mails. If this is the way they want to make money, shame on them!

“Horrible horrible service. Tried scamming me out of a 2nd insurance and wanted 2800 euros deposit on a car, which the policy states is not possible when having insurance. They then told me they would “bargain their manager” and the price would become 2000. Horrible never again”
