I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of buying my new car through Peter Vardy Carstore. Not only were all the staff friendly and informative but they were genuinely interested in finding me the right car. It is a relaxing atmosphere and you are left free to browse the showroom at your leisure. My only negative point was that I felt there could have been more information available about previous owners/history in my case, although I was less concerned with this as the car was only 10 months old. I would highly recommend the Carstore.

The staff were very courteous and helpful. I bought a car the same day and I loved the end experience with the music. I felt a little let down with the fact we paid cash for my car at nearly £8000 but we had to pay extra for car mats and diesel. The car has been running very smoothly and overall I am very satisfied with my purchase from Peter Verdy.

Our Sales Executive John Wilson I would give 5 stars. Approachable friendly found us a car that we wanted and explained the Finance etc. very well. Not too pushy. Handover team Lyndsey very good. Pleasant and happy to help. We had a couple of questions and these were dealt with efficiently. The initial experience all very good as we had not bought a car for a few years. Unfortunately the after sales not so good. Had a couple of issues with the car and this could do with some improvement. This has still to finalised and will hopefully be completed this week.

Admin side of things were a little slow, also I paid for a full years tax on my car and I have only received 6 months, I contacted your office and was told they were waiting on a V5 coming in for the vehicle, but if I am correct they would not have been able to tax the car at all never mind tell me a story that they could only do it for 6mths, If they could do it for 6 mths they could do it for a year??? I am still awaiting my new tax disc for the year!!! Thanks David Muldoon ( A Deal Greener Ltd)

Garry that dealt with my sale was absolutely great! Friendly and approachable and did everything possible to help me get my car. My only complaint would be the farce I had to go through with the finance company. They took ages to sort out my finance then backed out the day they were meant to pay out the money for my car! I am pregnant and this is stress that I definitely didn't need! Hayley that was dealing with my paperwork was fab and got everything sorted for me so I could still get my car that day. If I hadn't been pushed from pillar to post for a week and a half, told one thing then another (all because of finance) then I would have given 5 stars. But in all honesty I was stressed out, had to sign 3 different lots of paperwork on different days and go through call after call with the finance company when I shouldn't even have my phone out in work. The guys at Peter Vardy were great but I would much rather have had a quick, stress free experience. Lauren

Thanks to James Quigley's hard work along with Mark to finalise a deal and improve on the original offer and customer service when it looked like it wasn't going to happen. We are delighted to have our new car for a reasonable deal.

I have bought my last three cars from Arnold Clark and prior to this three or four from Parks Motor Group. I will now purchase my cars from Peter Vardy and I will be recommending to everyone I know to pay you a visit before going anywhere else. This is testament to the way I was dealt with and the professional manner in which I was treated.

Was very impressed on our first visit with the layout and the staff who were all very friendly. When we came back to collect our car, exchange our old one and complete the paperwork it was a little less friendly. We were late but had called ahead but it took at least 30minutes for someone to speak to us and ended up there for nearly 2 hours. Very family friendly but still not ideal to be hanging about for that length of time. Felt the staff were less inclined to talk to you as they knew you had bought a car. The salesman that had sold us our car never even acknowledged us! The guy greeting at the front door was very friendly and most helpful - great touch. Lyndsey that did our paperwork was very thorough and a lovely girl. Will recommend as overall it was a positive experience

Our Peter Vardy Car Store experience was excellent from the time we entered the car park until the time we left with our new car. Their customer service made us feel important and we were fully informed of what was going on at every step from being curious seekers to serious buyers. Thank you Alan. Even the fact that there was a little problem with our car lights this did not detract from our overall experience. We were given a courtesy car while our new car was repaired. Thank you Emma and Ian. We would certainly have no hesitation in recommending Peter Vardy Car Store to anyone who wants to buy a new/nearly new car. Thank you for looking after us so well!

The buying experience was very good. The sales staff were attentive and freindly and we were able to do a deal that suited us both. The car was ready for collection the next working day and the hand over was fun with the loud music and razamatazz. The car was well prepared and very clean. However a few days later a plastic cowal came loose from underneath the car at 70MPH due to some screws not being tightened properly. The issue is being addressed by the Vardy workshop and hopefully it won't be long before I get my car back so that I can enjoy the summer weather with roof down.

Different approach to car buying. Friendly, fun atmosphere that I think really appeals to families. Although we were happy being a young family to go along with this, felt that this approach may not be for other buyers without kids.

Liked the lay out of the cars , and no pressure to buy no sales people following you about , but on hand to help when needed, all staff were pleasant and look as if the I joyed there wok

Good Customer service instore. Telephone call at night 8.30-9pm to confirm the sale whist visiting my parents i didnt really appreicate. I felt it was not needed as i stated that i would be test driving the vechile the next day. Felt it was a Hard sell.

salesman and handover were excellent but too much meet and greet and name tags and through the whole thing again when you take delivery. lots of polish still on my car and no stamp in the service book. coffee is great idea and much appreciated. small things like polish are annoying after vardy build it up so much i have seen better valets.

No hassle, cars very well presented, 'free coffee' BUT would prefer that the overall price of the car was on the windscreen i.e. to include the tax, petrol, administration, etc; as it can be quite misleading when you have a tight budget to work with ! We think that this really does need addressing. After all said and done, we are pleased with our purchase even though we had to find the extra cost!
