A very different experience to buying a car, a few little issues after the car was sold with regards to the after sales team not getting back to you and lacked a little consistency as dealing with different people. However overall a good experience, already recommended friends who have purchased a car so looking forward to getting our £100 cheque for a recommendation. Would definitely recommend Peter Vardy to all our friends especially ones with families As this childrens play area and ice cream van are fantastic and our children are still asking to go back.

Our purchase was dealt with very well. Our only gripe would be that when we came to make a cash payment we had not been advised of the admin fee, fuel and also asked for 6 months road tax and were given 12 months tax. Again this was extra money for us

Found the car i wanted (vw passat cc),quick process at the purchase stage,delay at the delivery stage due to finance company computer problems,car was in fantastic condition,but 10mins after departure front indicator bulb blew, and i now have a grumbling noise from a bearing or brake.I was told by the salesman that all vehicles go through a 100+ point check. I have contacted Vardys but still waiting for a reply. All in all a good deal if the car gets sorted. Regards Duncan Fraser

When you buy a car from here you have to pay £20 fule which had not been put in my car and didnt notice till i was home when i phoned up all they said was that it had been put in ... if the car is on flat bottom red there has been nothing put in it !!

staff where very friendly and informative but the advert on auto trader said it came with a 2 year warranty only got 1 year apart from that I would have giving very good

I thought the service from peter Vardy was very pleasant and helpful the store had a great atmosphere and staff where friendly all in all my experencie was good and I would definitely return in future

WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE WE GOT FROM PETER VARDY AT BRAEHEAD,THE STAFF WERE EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND HELPFULL WITHOUT BEING INTRUSIVE. OUR SALESMAN MARTIN AND OUR HANDOVER GIRL WERE BOTH VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPFULL AND WE HAVE HAD NO PROBLEM IN RECOMENDING THE PETER VARDY EXPERIENCE TO OTHERS.

Very helpful not in your face staff, very keen to phone you until you purchase not as keen after you have purchased. Too many extra charges admin fees etc. Very happy with my car.

From meeting the reception desk to the handover team peter vardy have got it 100% right. From knowledgable sales team to a very professional handover team I can't recommend you guys enough. Having my 2 year old nephew with me running about wasen't an issue as there was plenty on hand to keep him entertained. Keep,up,the good work guys I for one will be a repeat customer for years to come.

staff extremely pleasant, although it did take a while to get my car I'm very happy with it. salesman (Robert) very nice guy and the girl in the handover team (Emma, I think?) also very nice. on the downside the wrong tax disc was put on my car and I received several phone calls within a couple of hours trying to rectify this, one of which I answered whilst pulling over and got 3 points and a £100 fine (cheers for that). But other than that good service.

The showroom itself and the standard of the presentation of the cars is impressive, however the process in place in terms of the reception is too much for out personal liking. It was quite uncomfortable to be honest. Had we not been introduced Steven Warren as our sales person we would not have remained in the showroom long enough to

Initial impression was wow, great set up and fantastic range of motors. The concept in the Car Store is the first of its kind that I have encountered, iPads & ride on cars for the kids, ice cream van as a cafe, wonderful. Gerry as very easy to deal with, no pressure & ethos of Car Store explained well, as were his colleagues William & Eric. Down sides, music a bit loud for me, hard to focus on details with boom boom tunes in your ears, follow calls I must have had at least 5 ( not from Gerry) possibility to improve communication amongst staff. Also, the boy I spoke to regarding the 5 day free insurance most definitely could have provided more concise information, it was the most annoying part of my experience, felt as if I was interrupting his lunch, kept asking "what do you mean", listening to my request would have been a good start, should have confirmed it was via Aviva, as when you go online it's particular clear. The unveiling of the car & the final stage if purchasing the car was unique to me & my son loved helping. All & all 4/5

strengths : good prices, fair exchange deal, welcoming people and comfortable environment in which to do business. weaknesses : handover prep perhaps needs a bit of quality control - I noticed signs of rushed vehicle prep e.g. front windscreen inside not properly cleaned, a dirty wheel trim - no big deal - but it does show up when you make a big deal of the handover - you have to follow through with a clean car if it's to work. My vehicle has manufacturer warranty still valid, but no mention made of warranty arrangements, but I've no worries as car is fine. Staff trying just a tad too hard; relax just a little. Some customers know what they want and may prefer a slightly more relaxed atmosphere - the bells and whistles may be ok for some - but left me somewhat unmoved even if I did go along with it. Overall : the good deal sealed it. A pleasant experience made easier by very helpful staff and a comfortable environment. 100% for effort to satisfy - competitors need to take some lessons. Well done. Sustain and improve. I'll be back.

Couldn't have been better on the part of the salesman. Only complaint is that no floor mats came with the car.
