The set up in the car store was very professional. The quality of service when picking up my vehicle was also very good. The service from the salesperson Craig was excellent and also from the branch manager who handled a potentially tricky situation very well. All in all I would have no hesitation in recommending anyone to use the Car Store.

I loved that I did not feel any pressure from sales team. Was left sitting while sales man sorted things out once I decided to purchase a car, felt this could be reduced! Was told car had features by sales man that it does not! And when collected car I knew more than the staff about things I was asking before I left... And again what a long prossess which I felt could be shorter, and as for that mayhem with the music covered car and rigmarole, that should be explained and purchaser given the option to opt out if wished. I did opt out as I had been pre warned but the girl looked at me like I had two heads on my request! Other than staff neading to know more about the car they are selling so customers are not disappointed with features they were told they have and don't and talked through features they do, I am happy with my car. Thank you

I dealt with Derek at the Car Store near Breahead in Glasgow, I cant fault the service he provided in any way. I was impressed with the entire service from start to finish and he delivered on your promise of finding me the right car within my budget. The only minor issue I have is that when I collected the vehicle there was a large scratch on the rear drivers side window that I had been told would have be sorted for me picking it up, the aftersales team did follow up with me as promised and advised me that a glass expert would contact me to replace the window, to date I haven't received any call from the glass expert and when I have left a message for the after sales team at the garage I've not heard back from them either. I will need to follow up on this again so this is the only thing that has stopped me from scoring Very Good on the above. For your reference , my name is James Kelly and I purchased a white Vauxhall Astra SB62 CBV.

Peter vardy at Hillingdon is unlike any car show room I have been in before although I purchased a car and within a quarter mile of leaving my tyre exploded on the motorway due to tyre sensor fault. After I got the car back home a noticed there was a crack in my windscreen which Peter vardy will not take responsibility because they claim there is an inspection due to customer collection.

The full team involved in my purchase were excellent. The salesman William opened us up to suggestions of cars we had not previously thought about, and in the end we bought one of these cars. His customer service was excellent and he certainly made it all about what was right for us. The only let down was form the after-care. While driving the car home I noticed a few issues with it. I immediately contacted the car-store, and was informed it would be dealt with immediately. It then became increasingly difficult to speak to any one involved in after-care and one day in particular the phones at reception were not even working. I became very frustrated and felt very let down by this service. It took almost 2 weeks for the car to be repaired from the day of purchase.

Overall I was very happy with the service that I received from everyone at Peter Vardy. The staff are friendly, helpful and insightful. When I asked any questions I tended to get an answer quite quickly which was pleasing. When I made it clear I wanted to see a car I saw online that happened to be at your Motherwell store, William made sure it was brought over to Braehead the following day for me to test drive. The same goes for my partner Brenda's car that also happened to be in Motherwell. There was a problem with me financing the car as I don't use credit cards and won't show up as a bad debt as I don't owe any money. That isn't of course Peter Vardy's fault but I was offered a chance at alternative finance. In the end I decided to pay for the car cash and pay the money back to myself over a period of time. There is however room for improvement from the car delivery side of the business though. 1. The first thing is that the tray in the boot of my car is loose as the plastic catch it sits in is broken off. I mentioned this when I went over the car on receipt of the vehicle but wasn't offered a resolution. I therefore always need to press the tray down firmly into place every time I close the boot. 2. The second thing is quite important. When I was driving the car home I could hear a metal rattling sound from the back of the car. When I got home I checked the back seats and found the rear seat belt was jammed behind the seat. The buckle was hitting against the metal back of the seat making the noise which was no big deal. I went to move the seat forward but before releasing the seat locks the seat fell forward as the back seats weren't locked in place. If I had my children in the back and had to break suddenly the car seats would have moved forward. This should from a safety point of view have been check over in the workshop. 3. After doing a number of journeys on the Sunday after receiving the vehicle on the Monday the car wouldn't start. I had to call the RAC out who found that the battery was flat. It was only performing at 15% of what it should have been and doing a number of journeys in one day was too much for it. The battery failed all of his tests and reckons it wasn't tested properly before the car was handed over. He recharged it as best he could and gave me a report to take into you which I did the following day. Once instructed Deborah dealt with the matter very promptly and I had a new battery fitted to the car on the same evening. I left the RAC report with her. I was of course very happy with the service on getting the problem fixed very quickly. The care customers get in the showroom is very good but Peter Vardy may have to take on board issues which are taking place in the workshop with regards vehicle preparation. I submit this review without prejudice and look forward to hearing from you with regards them. If you get back to me it shows you take customer feedback seriously and are open to looking at making changes for the better. Best Regards, Shaun Nixon.

Very pleased with service when purchasing my car. Steven conway was the salesman and was easy to deal with over the phone and in person. The whole experience from calling to enquire about a few cars through to viewing in the showroom and finally signing the paperwork was done in a friendly and efficient manner. Thanks again. i recently purchased two cars form your Hillington showroom and the service and the experience for my family was very good in the showroom. My only disappointment is that after agreeing that one of the cars would not be picked up for a week i was not informed until a few hours before the agreed pick up time that the car would not be ready and there was no suggestion of when it would be ready. This was disappointing as i had already changed insurance and had take time off work to be there to pick the car up not to mention the expectation of my daughter who the car was for. I was called the following day to be informed it would be ready the next day which is okay but a bit of a hassel i could have done without

Not a fan of buying new car probably due to the actions of previous salesmen. Dislike the "Hovering approach". and the psychology tactics I much prefer the Peter Vardy approach of the single sales person (in our case Jamie)and the fact that you were given information and then left to look and discuss with my wife. I didnt feel pushed into anything and i could have walked away to think it over. I did a test drive in two cars and felt the first was a little underpower so a bigger engine model was quickly found and I felt that this was better suited to me. I felt that the test drive was sufficient in time to give me a decent feel of the car. Tiffany was very efficient dealing with the paperwork and organising someone when I found some damage to the back of the drivers seat. I was told that this would be rectified Nice tactic of the gates opening to the music when you take your car away. I am pleased with my new car and would use Peter Vardy again.

The salesperson was presentable and quite informative. However, as pleasant as most of the experience was there were areas that need looking at. 1) Prior to purchasing the car I was informed by the salesman that to install reversing warning system would be around 100 Pounds. A few days later I returned to enquire about one or two things about the car and asked about the reversing warning system and was surprised to find that it would cost around 2 1/2 times what I'd been told. 2) Your system at the time of sale regarding 3 additional costs of 299 pounds for each, a total, if you opt for them, of 897 pounds cannot be classed as acceptable at a time Where every buyer is already under extreme pressure. 3) After the sale has been agreed your system goes into a much slower mode which tends to make you feel that now we havw sold a card we can just take our time to finish off everything else at our leisure. Not good. 4) The fact that you salesman called me direct to ask me if I was enjoying the car and was everything alright was fine and I appreciate that. To then go on to mention this survey and how important it was for him to get the 5 stars was not good. Please do not assume from that, that was not good at his job as he was kind and never pushy etc except on the additioal charges, and I'd go back to him again without a doubt. However, please do not have a salesman give out an estimate for sensors or anything else of that nature. Offer to get a technical person to come out and give the customer a price breakdown or have a list of additions and their costs, at hand. It will not lose the sale and may further enhance your reputation. Regards Paul Martin

All staff were more than helpful, from welcome team to sales, to handover. Never felt pressured to buy and always felt staff really cared. There wasn't a car on view in our range we wanted, but one was found out the back that fitted exactly what we wanted. Came to LOOK ONLY and walked away buying and happy about it. All staff involved deserve a thank you bonus

I wasn't previously aware of the Peter Vardy showroom and its sales process. The showroom has a wide range of cars available, many of them priced competitively. The process was relatively simple and the salesman very friendly, knowledgable and professional. The only area for improvement would be on the release of the car to the customer. I had to wait a long time and this seemed to be down to lack of staff available on the night. Might be an idea to be able to co-opt a salesperson in those situations to go through the release process. Overall though very pleased with my purchase and will visit Peter Vardy again when buying my next car.

Great experience buying the car. Would use the car store again. The ibly negative i would say was the condituin of the car when i bought it nore time could have been spent on the preperatiin of the car, windows were grubby, car still had old tax disk attached inside hadnt been ckea ed properly i found a reciept from prevuius owner in door pocket and an umbrellu under the drivers seat with clearly showed me not much time or effort had been taken in prepareing the vehicle. Piir end to a great experience tho overall i still considered it better than the norm... Shame i had to take car for a vallet day after id bought it
