I liked the service and the way you tried to help me find a perfect car.

Courteous, friendly service. One cause of anxiety about the purchase, however, was that a scrape on a front lamp lens was not brought to our attention before we bought the car. I should have been given the opportunity to change my mind about the purchase in this light if I had so wished. A second worry is that driving the Focus is unlike driving an older car such as the Skoda, particularly when using the clutch and throttle. Gear changing often produces juddering and stalling; a smooth gear change can be elusive. Our teenage daughter is having greatest difficulty; she has stalled repeatedly on a hill among traffic, which can obviously be dangerous. But we all find a smooth gear change can be elusive I am also concerned about possible damage to the clutch. We had a run in the car before we bought it; but these difficulties became more obvious with use. It would have been helpful if you had warned us of possible difficulty and explained how to get the better of them. Is there anything you can tell us now about how to overcome them? One question raised by all of this is whether we could trade the car back to you, and buy an older model. If so, could you put a figure on its trade-in value, please? We would be extremely grateful. Two more points. One is that you told us that there was an emergency wheel in the boot, but there wasn't, and you didn't check. (There is only a 'kit' of some sort of glue.) The other is that we had to ask for a manual, and were offered a photocopy (which would have been bulky, and awkward to use) before a copy was found for us. We appreciated your manner and general helpfulness, and I've increased your 'mark' as you requested. But we hope you will understand our anxieties. Every good wish.

The Sales guy , Darren I think, done well to make the deal happen. He had to persuade his manager to give me the deal I wanted. Only negative was the length of time it took to collect my car, a lot of unnecessary hanging around.

Buying experience and salesman was excellent. After sales, not impressed with. I was advised a parcel tray was on order when collecting the car and it would arrive in a couple of days. We're now more than a week down the line (car collected 14th March) and still no confirmation of this being available for collection. Tried to call numerous times and nobody is ever available or reception are unaware of who is best to pass my call too. Overall, good experience but after sales are nowhere near good enough for such a minor item.

Overall Darren was nice to deal with. I was a little dissapointed with final price on a deal with no trade-in. His manager would not budge on the asking price. Maybe that is the way the cars are priced to begin with. Not so sure on the admin and fuel charge. Financed car myself and was charged £75 and car was only half full after charging £40 for fuel. The experience overall was fine and Emma looked after us very well on the day we picked up the car so thank you Emma. We are pleased with the car so we would use Peter Vardy again, so thank you Darren & Emma.

Overall, I would say my experience was good, as I did enjoy it and I love my new car. However, there have been a few things that needed to be sorted out and these are as follows: - 1) Spare wheel tool kit was missing and had to be replaced. 2) Aerial was missing and had to be replaced. 3) The mileage had mysteriously gone up by 22 miles between me buying the car and picking it up. 4) The Platinum Protection did not appear to have been applied inside the car, as the seats could easily absorb water, rather than repelling as it should. I now need to arrange to go back in and have it applied (again). 5) I have seen the same type of car much cheaper with a lower mileage elsewhere, but the Price Promise only covered a 50 mile radius.

This store has an area that keeps the kids occupied while you browse and sort out the deal!! There was a small problem with the car but they did everything they could to sort it as sounds possible!!! This is the second car I've bought here and I'd have no issues going back again, that said, it should be made clear to customers that the feedback given on these surveys actually affects the sales-persons payments if it's not 5 out of 5 on a particular line. This survey needs to be much clearer about what you are actually commenting on!!!

Very happy with my car, 2 issues though. 114 point check clearly doesn't cover wiper blades as rear wiper blade was wasn't wiping window and I had to replace at a cost of £12. Happy that 4 new tyres on vehicle but wheels were not balanced prior to me collecting due to your machine being out of order, surely this could have been done off site? I appreciate that I can come back to get this done but this will cost me time and fuel.

The shopping experience was made much better by the manner in which this is done and the welcome given to the customers. My problem was that I had paid £40 for petrol - part of PV Carstore policy. I did not check the tank guage when I picked my car up, and a way down the highway realised that the tank level warning light was flashing and I urgently needed petrol. I had to find a station to fill at and ended up putting £55 into the tank to fill it. This was not acceptable. I phoned Peter Vardy the following day to complain and was promised a refund - this has not come yet - a week later.

Enjoyed the experience of buying a car from Peter Vardy. There was no pressure and no sales people hovering over you while you looked round. Craig Gemmil was our salesman and I could not fault him - even went back and bought a second car from him. However the handover was disappointing. We were not shown any controls, asked what the controls on the steering wheel were - told it was for bluetooth in the car. Our car doesn't have bluetooth. I would still recommend Peter Vardy to others as there was no pressure to buy and you approached them when u were ready. The hand over prevented a very good star.
