For days I had been trying to make a telephone contact with One Call but, every time, I was told that the lines were closed. I am not computer-adept but, after multiple attempts and incredibly lengthy waits, I finally made contact with BF6 and the matter was sorted very efficiently and effectively.

We left One Call because there is no longer the option to talk on the phone. Your 'live chat' team were friendly and helpful but it was not at all easy communicating details needed for quotes and increased cover requirements this way. We have moved to a provider that provides telephone service as an option.

Insurance good and cheapest quote However not being able to chat on the phone and having to use online chat is not desirable and the cancellation fee not good as I had no vehicle to insure

All I wanted to do was speak to someone to cancel my policy as I'm no longer driving - called the number to be told I had to cancel online, went online and it took me 40 minutes nearly to FINALLY get them to cancel my renewal, oh and then charge me for the privilege - I'm 81 years old, it doesn't need to be this complicated :(

bi2 was extremely helpful when I got through to him on chat, but getting there was a nightmare. The initial phone contact was total lack of interest….. not my department mate attitude, can’t do that here has to be on chat, which I couldn’t access at first. How do people access you if they don’t have internet access I assume you must talk to them…..appalling!

I was changing my car to a Transit Custom “van” which meant I couldn’t transfer the policy over on line and couldn’t get help via the online chat service. I requested a call back and waited from 0930 until 1700 that day without joy. Buying the van the next day , I tried the process again the following morning. It took until 1200 to finally get someone to speak to me. I put everything in place to transfer over on buying the van and was told to call back later. I was told you were open until 1600. At 1515 I called to change the insurance over and was on hold for 48 mins. Thankfully the person I had spoken to earlier in the day gave great service and stayed on the call after 1600 and sorted everything out. If it wasn’t for him I was about to go elsewhere. Your processes need to be more personable and easier to contact an actual person. I won’t be renewing with you next time.

Very poor customer service, no one to speak to only on line chat which you que for half an hour then get timed out before you have a chance to resolve anything also they refused to email Me my invoice only able to get it through the portal. Complete waste of time. Never again

Being a good customer for cars and homes insurance, l added my 28 years old son temporally for weekend and being rejected as l did insured him last year but not this full year because of Covid-19. Will definitely change insurance company .

Chatted online but still have not received my policy in hard copy (I couldn’t download it). Policy starts on 1 July so would like to check it. Not happy that you can’t speak to anyone, it takes too long having to wait for an answer. I can’t see a problem in speaking to someone as sometimes it’s difficult to explain what you need to know.

There seems to be a whole raft of documents that are available on your portal but will not open when I ask for ‘all documents’ to be downloaded, although they will open individually. I am told by one of your representatives that this is a fault with my device. I think not. Other documents from other Insurance Companies (eg Swinton for my house insurance) have opened perfectly well today. My Certificate of Insurance is headed ‘One Insurance Ltd’ but my log in details were not recognised until I was told that I should be logging in to ‘One Call Insurance’. Confusing to say the least. How do you expect me to know this? We were promised the documents in the post on 13th June within ‘5 to 7 working days’. When they did not arrive I was only able to query this through a Web Chat. It is difficult to talk a problem through this way (30th in the queue for the first chat). Although your agents did well under the circumstances, the issues weren’t resolved after 4 chats. I appreciate the hard copies are paper intensive but you produce them so please don’t play ‘the environment’ card when I can’t access those documents through your clumsy portal. Sorry to sound so belligerent but I have spent the thick end of yesterday afternoon trying to see details you advise me to look at. I understand you will be putting them in 2nd Class post tomorrow, so I expect to see them in the middle of next week. I know you are web based, but it’s simply not working, so a telephone number would be appreciated (you’ve got mine!). Why on earth do you call yourselves 'One Call'? Regards, David Greer.

Very disappointed that I’ve had to take a days policy out and also pay admin charges when I put 3pm in the change of time for my new vehicle, why would I out 1.50am in when everything is closed!!

Onecall are just 'OK' They are charging me £46.40 to change my address, even though I am doing all the admin online myself. The cost isn't because my new postcode is riskier - it just seems to be a way of extracting more money from the policy holder - unless Onecall would like to justify this charge to me ?

I had a complaint asking for my money back as I had cancelled the insurance. I was not told that my money would take 7-10to clear on a previous live chat. This morning Ve3 helped me by making sure the money had been refunded and to inform me of the days to clear by my bank Thank you Ve3

I was left on a chat for 20 minutes without any conversation. I was then transferred to another advisor who was very helpful and completed my car renewal without any issues. KA1.

trying to communicate with One Call is impossible. tried live chat twice, no 13 for ages, tried again next day got to no 11 so tried the landline number, got as low as no 16. been holding for approx 10 mins. gave up
