We have given a 2 not because of our insurance itself which is very good, but because we had to use the chat room which I did not like as I wanted to speak to a person and they said it was all going to be online! I will now have to consider whether to stay with you or not when it comes to renewal which would be a shame. It seems you have used the pandemic to try and reduce costs.

EP7 was very good and finally I got the insurance I wanted. But your live chat is a complete waste of time. It took 3 hours to complete a task which should have taken 10mins by phone. 4 times I had to repeat the same answer's to the questions that were put to me, the system either logged me out or it timed me out even though I was waiting for your team to get back to the answer I had sent. In my opinion there's nothing like speaking to somebody to get things sorted. I did ask for a phone call but didn't get one! So as to ask how did you communicate with the company and actually put telephone down as an answer!!!

Very surprised at the additional charges for change of address. I've just done the same for our other car and there was NO admin fee and the insurance premium was REDUCED. And all completed including the refund within seconds on my online account.

i needed to simply add one driver (my son aged 52) to my insurance. No way to contact you by telephone - tried 'chat'. Helpful but slow since operatives busy. Eventually after going through all the hoops, operative suggested better if I went through Portal. Re-set password as last attempt to access Portal had failed dismally. This time it worked. Went through all the hoops again with portal and anticipated some success as system seemed to be reacting well. Unfortunately at the last hurdle, was informed that the service i required could not be completed through Portal. The website suggested i should go through 'chat'. Please respond with sensible procedure, driver addition needed from 21st June 20-21. Thank you Tel 01264 400261

The service is fine just disappointed! I was £104 for car insurance June last year added a driver in November £145! Renewal £243 so removed added driver £159? Eventually got it for £133! but should have really been under £100 as all insurance has gone down and it was with the same company?

Very difficult to contact anyone using the portal - was continuously down. Extremely hardwork when trying to amend my policy, the 'live chat' is very slow, and like dealing with a robot.

I was very dissapointed at not being able to speak to someone directly. It took me 5 attempts to even get onto the portal. I wanted to change my insurance from old car to new and as I couldn't do this easily I had to drive my husbands car to work. Next day I managed to reach live chat and had to buy a temporary 5 day cover which I was not pleased about. Very poor service and so complicated. I was told that the temporary cover price would be reimbursed once the policy had been fully changed. This was extremely hard to do.

Tried to negotiate this years quote for my van insurance and had to wait four days to talk to an online representative. Was unable to telephone as all their systems were not working. When I started my online chat the representative was rude. The end result was I cancelled my insurance without any negotiation. Very disappointed!

£24 administration fee when l did it all myself online, tried to phone to talk to someone and l was told phone lines closed. I am not happy having spent over an hour sorting it out grrrrr

Charged £24 to change address on policy. New address is also more secure so charge was for a minor automated update and therefore unreasonable amount for such a minor amendment.

Not very good in communication. Changed my insurance provider but for the past month I am trying to get a proof of my NCB but no reply. No one answers email. Portal doesn't work. Love Chat is dead. And the phone, after spending so much time listening to a lady who confused the typing speed with talking, at the end you are told to contact the portal and the line go dead. 2 stars are 2 too many. Go compare should give them amiss and so should you.

I couldn’t make change on the portal. It took close to an hour to tell me I couldn’t change my policy to my new car.

Waited 20 mins on phone then gave up. Opened up chat line to find I was number 47. All I want for o do is give you some money !!!! Incredible think I am going back o go compare.
