Live chat was ok..£39 admin charge to amend a policy isn't....bit of a rip off for pressing a few buttons on a keyboard

This is about customer service and having to use live chat to get information about current policy. It took twenty minutes to be given the phone number to call if you breakdown. This was preceeded by a nine minute wait for the live chat to start. Twenty nine minutes. I think you can do better, a lot better. And maybe you should think about a name change - you can't call at all, no customer service phone numbers!

I have spent 30 minutes trying to access the customer portal, and have had 2 live chats. The first one didn’t work, and the second one told me to log back in to see documents. I am unable to log in. Please assist!

Took over 20 mins to change address on car insurance. Cost extra money too. Not my fault the portal does not let you do it yourself . On line chat takes ages.

Can’t believe it costs more to cancel your policy than y you o finish the years direct debits up. Can’t speak to anyone & when you do a chat window they are very rude & unprofessional. I’ve had car insurance for the last 30 years & never had this bad service!

not east trying to change over new car and private registration at same time on line. Megan was great helping "mm9" but you should have someone to talk with. not ideal.

HB1 Found chat room unpleasant and not very helpfull, prefer to talk on the phone . All phone phone lines down !!! What happens if you have a accident and cant phone ? Not impressed ! Thinking of cancelling within 14 days ! You state in your application you will post documentation, but had to fight to get chat room to agree to post them ! Dissapointing

I have been a client of One Call for many years. Last year I had a c car accident and found their service APPALING bordering on criminally negelent. Today I got a cancellation notice by post,I phoned and finally got through to a professional who sorted everything in 10 minutes. Ref RW1.

It took over 3 hrs to put all the paperwork in place there has got to be an easier way to stay in contact when trying to send details, and proof of no claims. Even after all that 3 times I gave my email address to change over and still it was sent to the previous address

I had tonwaitb20 minutes when it says 6 minutes waiting time then finally when I got through the return answers were so low it took half hour. And then as I wanted to give the go ahead it cut off.

Not impressed. Customer service was good the first time I called - except for a long wait on chat - although I had to call to correct a 'statement of fact' that did not reflect what i had told them. The second time, the phone line was closed (at 11.00 on a Friday), and despite the insurance certificate explicitly saying that I was covered for business use, this was denied by the representative on chat, on the grounds that I was retired (which presumably does not exclude the possibility that I carried out occasional jobs, or charity work). I was then told that to use the car for charity work I would have to pay an additional £67. The whole chat call took over 30 minutes. The certificate itself was only available as a pdf and could not be printed out using Acrobat - the text did not appear. I shall not use this company again.
