They're cheap for a reason. The application process is fully automated which is fine until there's a problem with their system. I needed to submit my NI number and driving licence details which I did even though they have previously acknowledged receipt (twice). Now the policy has started I have received a letter (automated) threatening me with cancelling the policy in 5 days time because they haven't received the information. I've re-submitted the details and received another (automated) on-screen acknowledgement but will be away when my policy might be cancelled so whether I'll be driving uninsured is anybody's guess. There are times like this when saving a few pounds is a false economy.

I used the portal and yd2 was the agent to change my vehicles kept address , I was charged a ridiculous £39 which I paid but it was not recognised or changed as the chat was ended before confirmation not by myself . Lucky I checked a few days later . Negligence as this could affect any future claims I may of had

Miss sold policy.believing I had legal costs when I dont.i would never buy a policy with out legal.cost cover in all my 20 yrs driving iv had this cover I ticked all the relevant info and now find out I dont have it and look at facing losing 1000 in legal costs

I am not happy with this company I had cancelled my car insurance and yet the took it out. When I called up to get it refunded they said yes they would and was really sorry yet it took another phone call again a week later to say still it had not been refunded back into my bank. The following day they put it in my bank but instead of the full amount of £42.51 they only refunded £11.95 i again called and a few days later they put £30.55 in. Only got the following day for take that back out. I called spoke to Scott Worthingon who said this would be back in my bank. That was over a week ago and still nothing. So i know I will not be using this company again as they have just proved they rob people and I will be taking this further

the telephone service is absolutely rubbish.It goes round the houses and long wait I am first time customer may be last.Some times you have to wait almost half hour and you may end up in wrong section. There are too many options end up in wrong place also the live chat I have tried dozen times but is shut.Sorry to be negative

The fast chat took far too long, not a fast response at all. I would rather have spoken to a person but could not find any phone numbers. It took me an hour to try to resolve my query

no email with insurance details so went on chat, took too long for advisor to become available. took ages to answer simple question. asked me for info i'd already given, poor start to my 1st time with this company

Having a car accident is quite a traumatic experience. Having insurance provides a small amount of comfort. But when the accident isn't your fault, and your having to run around between companies to get them to settle the claim that wasnt your fault, but you are being penalized it just brings the trauma back. I thought my claim was settled, as my car was repaired in April and all sorted. Apparently its still marked as open and the solicitor advised that have been waiting for the invoice the whole time. Why has it taken so long, and now OneCall wont accept evidence from either Axa or the solicitor to confirm I am not at fault. This whole process is flawed, it punishes those who arent at fault. I am having to do your job and i find it incredibly frustrating. Also i am not happy that i only received the renewal statement 2 weeks before my insurance was due!

Poor communication after waiting 3 hrs for a recovery truck from home had to ring to find out when it would arrive then told I was not covered you could have at least Informed me

Wanted to change my insurance and I have changed vehicle. Did the on-line chat but the guy said he could not help as the quoting system was down. This left me with a problem as I was soon to collect the vehicle. He did not tell me I could have done it myself via the portal or offer any further help. Very disappointed and on the verge of insuring elsewhere.

Didn't get to do what I was trying to do (add a driver), the portal didn't seem to do what the advisor believed it would do so am now going to have to phone them and probably go through passing all the information on again, what I thought was going to be a 5 minute job seems to be going to take quite a bit longer that that!!

Responding to a text / e mail regarding 'outstanding' info on policy , despite to 'calls' via 'chat line' I'm still in the dark as to whether or not I have full cover.Chat line cut off before I could determine if docs uploaded were ok, then contact via chat line again , but issue not fully resolved. I know its a Sunday but,...It's quite worrying getting an e mail/text on a Sunday stating that you need to make contact and then not be able to fully resolve the issue.

£145 renewal quote for TPFT motorbike insurance became £204 when I told them I'd moved from London to Edinburgh. This became £76 fully comprehensive with lower excesses through a comparison site search . Its hard to fully condemn them since the did provide a very good policy in the end but they did try it on in the first place. So poor in that sense. I suppose most insurers/brokers behave the same though.
