My initial contact to take out the policy was fine. However, since receiving my documents I have been unable to speak to anyone to amend an error I have used the online chat and been told they can’t help I need to speak to the sales team. I have tried fo over r 40 minutes to call and speak to someone without success. The same message is repeated with every option none of which seem to apply to my query. No option to speak to the sales team! I have resorted to writing to them. Not good enough!

Contacted to stop the renewal of my policy after finding out that One Call could not come near a competitor's quote. The process is very slow and I still didn't get a confirmation that the payment wouldn't be taken from my account.

Really frustrating that you cannot actually speak to someone on the phone. Live chat is ok but took 14 minutes to actually answer the question I was asking. Also, it would be good to have all the details you need for Windscreens on the website

The cost of the policy itself is competitive but the service in the event of a problem or query is poor. Why is the company called One Call when the only way I had to get through to someone in via on-line Live Chat ? I tried 4 times over several days to resolve a problem & in the end I solved it by contacting the actual insurance company direct. Spoke to a helpful person, matter closed in a few minutes.

I do not wish to renew my car insurance policy. Have tried several times to speak to someone but the waiting time was always ridiculous. I have also written to the company- NO REPLY! Poor service

Your final page will not except my driving license, i have uploaded them now but apparently the payment has not gone through because we cannot get past the final steps. Wasted time on your live chat, and now advised to ring you. Already spent 45 minutes doing this!!!!

Surly and unhelpful. Wouldn't listen to what I was saying. Claimed I hadn't declared a speeding conviction when it's clearly shown on the proposal Form / Statement of Fact document on their online portal. Also the conviction is declared in my details stored on moneysupermarket who I went through. Said they couldn't do anything for 6 weeks? Make sure you keep copies / evidence of everything. And…. they want an extra £86.24 (almost a third the cost of the policy). This is probably why the quotes are cheap.

Called customer service to add business use to my car insurance. Helpful young man said it would cost only £24 if I did it via online portal. I tried this but it told me I needed to speak to an agent via online chat. This guy told me to try the other two things I'd already tried. Had to say twice that had already tried these routes. The actual cost was £59.15 not £24. Bit pricey seeing as some insurers do it for free. Asked if the updated certificate would be emailed to me. He said it would show in my portal instead but guess what? It doesn't. I need to see proof as I will be using my car to transport a disabled passenger as part of my new job. Feeling frustrated. The service seems amateurish.

Frankly I felt as if I had been interviewed by a Gestapo Officer. Aggressive, self opinionated and that's the best I can say of a very unpleasant man.

I bought policy with 9 year or more No claims discount. After few days I received letter from one call insurance & they found 8 year No claims discount from their source & increase insurance by £74.40. Then I provide proof of no claims discount they said we considered 9 year or more no claims & neglect our letter. So when you buy policy make sure you put correct information otherwise they will charge a lot.
