There was a long wait the person I dealt with was fine. I then went to the portal as advised to make some changes to the policy and I couldn’t do this as it wouldn’t allow me this is not the first time this has happened very disappointed with the service as a whole

Still trying to access my motor insurance policy did as was requested by Charlotte D ie clicked on activation but this not working for me!

The conversation was effective and polite however the cost of cancelling our policy as we have sold our vehicle was we believe excessive and will be taken into consideration when our othe policy is up for renewal

No direct contact lines. Everything done over live chat so information is not shared clearly and messages easily misconstrued. No multi car policies!

your systems are very poor, all i wanted was a quote to change my car, this took 3 days instead of a few minutes. however your chat person was very patient and we got there in the end but even that took over an hour

Not good, based on today’s experience, asked a question on ‘live chat’ told to go on the portal and obtain a quote and then told by the portal to go on ‘live chat’ !!!

On Sunday I purchased a car and updated the details on line. The prompt was an operator would be with me soon- didn’t wait long but the operator was chat room who asked if my details were correct? I said ‘yes’ and then was directed to online payment screen. This asked for customer reference- which I had forgotten- and so couldn’t go through with the additional payment to commence immediate insurance cover. Meanwhile the chat room had disappeared and left me stranded having bought a car that I couldn’t insure! If I was able to talk to an operator to take payment this wouldn’t have happened. Additional to this I didn’t know if my old car insurance had been cancelled while waiting payment for new policy. Terrible system.

After a third party collided with my car, I had to call 3 times to log the incident. The first call was cut off ,the second call I was advised the original person dealing with me would be e mailed to contact me, which never happened .Eventually managed to speak to someone to day. I then went on live chat to stop my automatic renewal to be given a new higher quote because I had a fault claim of 4 days. I WAS NOT CLAIMING MY INSURANCE AS THE THIRD PARTY'S INSURANCE HAD IT IN HAND. My car is being fixed as we speak. Best to go to CHURCHILL as they have handled this episode very professionally.

I don't like the chat line service. I was confused about my car insurance renewal (change of vehicle) because I didn't have the opportunity to discuss it over the phone. The online was quote was too expensive & included an added premium - I don't know what this is.

A nightmare to use portal without live chat help pages don't open call handler great but need a verbal customer care line . Text chat is frustrating and poor web page performance is making me change my insurance provider

Cheap insurance but watch out for the admin charges. when i informed them i had passed my full Cat A licnese it would of cost half my premium again to update my policy for a reduction of £8.00 for the first year.

The person I spoke to on the chat line ( Laura B) was very helpful and no criticism whatever of the way she dealt with my query. However, I am very unhappy with the big amount of money I have to pay just for a change of address. Other utilities or firms where a change of address is notified ( such as DVLA)do not charge for such a service. Regrettably because of this big extra expense I will not be considering returning to One Call when my policy comes up for renewal or recommending them to other people.

It took me 3 attempts and several hours, to add my husband to my insurance:Live chat, portal, live chat. The first live chat referred me to the portal to save on admin costs. The portal was unable to make the requested change and referred me back to live chat! Not happy!
