I do not wish to renew my insurance which is due for renewal tomorrow. Your call centre is closed, had to wait ages in the chat and told that I was in the wrong conversation. Not the fault of Alex but a lot of time has been wasted sorting out something that should have taken 10 minutes.

I waited from number 33 to get to me at number 1, and when eventually I spoke to Curtis, the advisor, he was very slow to respond to my query and I spent ages wondering if he was there or not. Sad to say I felt this service was very poor.

Cancellation fees are outrageous. Can’t use the customer portal for motorcycle policies so lose any savings when changes are needed. The service via live chat is good however but doesn’t have the discount offered via the portal.

Advisor tried to be helpful ... but this a poor way of doing business in something as crucial as car insurance. Customers need to speak to someone personally in order to ensure that what they THINK they are buying is exactly what they are buying. You could serve customer needs better than this.

Trying to change car details and was told I would get emai today letting me know whether current policy will cover new car or whether I need to cancel and take out new policy once exchanged vehicles. Not happy as struggling to get on live chat

Site is not working properly with regard to policy amendments, forcing me to use the chat line which was extremely busy. After two cancelled attempts (40 and 78 people ahead) the wait was still way too long! Then I had to ask for the £15 online change discount, as the 'chatter' did not know that the site was not working 100%

Good price, but very slow service, online chat wait at least 10-15 minutes, then had to wait twice as it closed randomly. Spent over an hour to change email address and try to transfer to a new vehicle, letting current policy expire and going to another insurer, you get what you pay for. Glad I never had a claim, I can imagine the wait for something like that!, no thanks!!

Been with them 3years and keep putting up price of insurance wanted insure different car an wanted twice as much a month company rubbish

Renewal quote was £70 more expensive than a new quote from another insurer, call centre too slow, felt adviser was dealing with more than one customer at a time

Covid is now phone free OK website didn't recognise my new address no matter how I tried to write it. Built before 1970! Portal asks for date of birth but doesn't say it needs - between the numbers. If you advance it then wants it with / between the numbers you couldn't design a more confusing site. Eventually I got to live chat which despite the delays seemed to work out OK recon it took over 30 mins to solve a problem which I should never have had to solve

Not happy as change of car mid policy did not give a reasonable quote for the new car. I chose one call for good premium on original car and am very unhappy with not having any quotes offered to me for new car so that with not telephone contact has pushed me to cancel.

Details for car insurance were given on the comparison site used. These details were carried forward and used by all the other sites and quotes given. One Call gave a quote using these details which I accepted, driving licence details were given and permission for DVLA to be checked. Policy was then issued. Full payment taken 3 days later. 10 days after policy issued and payment taken, I received notification that I had not disclosed some information therefore they were increasing my premium by a further £159.70!! This did not make it competitive therefore I cancelled the policy, paying £35.55 for 12 days cover. The relevant information had been given at first contact which should be the information used to provide a quote. I shall not use this site again.

Whilst the communication from your rep was very efficient, I disagree with your calculation for refund offered against the remaining 8 months of my cover (I have now sold the car) and it appears I was overcharged when the policy was originally taken out. I await communication from your cancellations team, and plan to refer the matter to the Ombudsman. Policy No GDMSA01146803

I was astonished to receive a renewal quote which was 50% higher that I paid last year. I complained and received help from the on-line chat service. Whilst the person on the call was very very helpful, I was nonetheless surprised that after complaining I was offered a reduction that was only £4 more than I paid last year. This being the case, it suggests that OneCall is not looking as deeply into offers as they might. My policy cost went from £266 last year to a quotation of £395 this year and then after our discussion went down to £270. - how is this possible??

Tried to change address through portal but wouldn’t let me. Then had to use the chat and took so long just to change my address.
