I asked for cover today and was told via email that it would be live in 2 hours. Sadly this wasn't the case. Jennifer T was helpful in raising this issue and hopefully i will be covered in the next 30 minutes but due to my bad experience this has left me doubtful. Only time will tell!

The additional premium quoted when I changed by car was extortionate. With only a few month remaining the policy One Call wanted to charge me an additional £200+ the swap the policy over to a different car, in the end I took out new 12 month a like for like policy with another insurer for only £560 and cancelled the One Call policy.

Was very happy with service and was going to renew, but I have just been charged £46 for a change of address for 20 days of the remainder of my cover this year, renewing my policy with them for the coming year is extremely doubtful! They have gained £46 on this year’s cover but lost £450 in October for the coming year.

5 Out of 5 stars for my chat with AM6, but sadly very disappointed with One Call Insurance costs when it comes to trying to change vehicle on an existing motor insurance policy.

Trying to use the live chat is like pulling teeth so far. I have had to re-ask my queries several times in order to get a specific answer. I was in the middle of a chat, composing a "yes/no" answer question when the page just timed out. Now i have to start agian. So far my two simple questions for a change of vehicle on my policy have taken over half an hour to partially clarify

One Call car insurance may be very good but all I wanted to do was add a second vehicle to my insurance and get the discount of a multi car policy this proved to be impossible so despite trying over a period of nearly an hour and 3 different advisors I have given up , I have until sept 20th to renew the insurance on second vehicle so if somebody wants to telephone me and do a traditional transaction please do.

The operative who I dealt with via chat line was good and professional and have no complaints against her, the problem I have is with all the hidden extra charges that we get charged for such as a renewal fee, there is no incentive to stay with one call as a customer and although you can find these "hidden charges" in the small print there is nothing obvious that you can see until there is a need for them to apply the extra charge. One call needs to be more transparent about these charges.

Be aware that if you change address, you will be charged Admin Fee, they will not budge from their policy, other insurers are far more flexible and do not charge for address change. could not talk to anyone, all done on live chat which is frustrating.

To charge £60 as an admin fee to cancel a policy is scandalous. I would not recommend One Call for car insurance.

Not happy, just trying to change policy for a new van I've brought, person I dealt with online couldn't find my vehicle, then stopped our conversation without me knowing or not whether the policy has been changed as need it to be by saturday!! Why cant there be voice to voice conversation!!! Tbh, was an hour of my time and pretty awful

I have spent nearly all day trying to cancel my policy with One Call. I could not get through on the phone or live chat. I emailed your office and also tried Facebook Messrnger. Eventually I got through to Drew via live chat who managed to retrieve the situation as I was so fed up with the time wasted today. The 2 stars are for One Call but I would give Drew persinally 5 stars.

When you take out an online policy they need to approve it manually This means that even if you select the same day for the policy to start you can end up waiting for the docs to come through for some time and are advised to wait for them before driving the vehicle Not known any other major insurer do this even brokers manage this better Need to sort this out as I was left being unable to drive my vehicle to an appointment

I’ve called two consecutive days in a row and have been told I would be called back and have not received the phone call. I have a quote saved on my file and each time I try to purchase it I’m guided to complete a quote all over again and subsequently the price has gone up 🙄
