Really stressful contact with ac7 after taking out policy online. Took 2 hours to ensure my tow bar was covered after comparison site did not allow me option to include it. After suggesting that I’d need to pay an extra £120 or a cancellation fee of £50 he finally confirmed that actually it was covered at no extra cost. Was on the verge if cancelling as now have little confidence in this company based on today’s we chat

Service is very poor. Spent 2 hours on chat who can not help with transferring insurance from van to car. Was set expectation of a call at 9am today, it is now 10:46am and no call. I need car to go to work.

One all rating is based on there communication not on the insurance as yet we have not had to call on them for that but I hope there communication is better if we do. I think it’s dreadful that you can’t contact onecall by phone other insurance companies are managing it. They don’t answer the questions you ask in the chat and then cut you off while your typing. I think it’s appalling

I have had a cracked windshield,as my policy says if I don’t use your recommended repairer My excess doubles. I can’t find anywhere in my paperwork the recommended repairer ! I have spent two days on the phone and internet trying to get an answer. Eventually I got to speak to a person. If this had been more urgent it would have been a total nightmare. I understand Covid has caused problems but other companies hav managed far better under the same circumstances. cd6

Very difficult using live chat. Not sufficient explanation by first contact led th me trying again another twice. Should be able to talk to someone.

fc4...... My concerns are 1. I don't have a smart phone and can not see me getting one. 2. I Rarely use the internet 3. I've always had a direct phone number to speak with an advisor there Is no direct number unless your a new customer or need breakdown (if there is I couldn't find it) 4. Next time I will be using a insurance company that I can directly speak to a person 5. The advisor sorted my problem, maybe its an age thing but I like to speak via a phone and I'm sure you have many customers who feel the same and like me don't have a smart phone and/or do not have/use a PC.

very frustrating experience trying to switch over one of my vehicle policys to a new vehicle just purchased, I've always been able to talk to someone to arrange this for me and find this like pulling teeth out. The person I've just been on live chat with (Rachel T) stated she could not find the new vehicles details although I'm confused as I've already had a quote from another company after passing on the same information. the vehicle is standard and there are lots of these for sale on the internet therefore there must be a problem with your system. I was also very diappointed that she cut me off when i was still on call. If there's another way of getting to thee bottom of this and another way of communicating please let me know. One call system couldn’t find my new car,then after 40 minutes decided the underwriter wouldn’t insure me,asked them to send new quotes thro on e mail,received nothing!!!,poor service

Unable to get civet for another driver for one day as nothing worked, chat person could not do anything for me, going to get charged for change of address, got to get new quote etc etc etc

could not find my bike on their system told me to speak to the DVLA i logged on to the .gov website and low and behold my bike is on and other insurance company found it no problem
