impossible to contact via chat to enquire about my recent home insurance policy. Always unavailable. Very dissapointed.

watch out for the charges if you need to cancel insurance even if its for one day , I have been charged seven times more than the policy premium rate for the day !! I had taken a cheaper quote of £600 less and then given bill for £71.63 for not renewing with One Call , don't remember sighting their charge list until I had actually paid the previous years premium , apparently its in the terms and conditions this will happen, but cant see it in my documents ? please be aware of this , wont go back there again !

Changed to a more sensible car and still have to pay a higher premium. Will not renew when the time comes

Adviser was helpful. The insurance company was not honest. They wanted to charged me for the broker! did not give me the discount they promised for taking part in the survey and always be prepared to negotiate with them, otherwise they take your money easily!!

Having called to cancel my insurance due to other influences I have now asked for a copy of my conversation at least twice at the end of a so called 'live chat', and have never received either copy of the 'chats' yet, only an email saying that they will be asking my bank to set up a DD, which I do not want them to do as I have cancelled my insurance this year. Sorry but it's not good enough, if anything changes I'll amend this statement.

There was a long queue when I phoned, though I appreciated being kept up to date on where I was in the queue. It was a renewal but the paperwork appeared to be for a new policy and I was threatened with cancellation because I had not provided my driving licence and NI number. I am 69 and found this distressing. Natasha on the chat line was very helpful, sorted it out and apologised but it should not have happened.

the first time I called to discuss my renewal notice I was 17th in a queue so used the website, the live chat person couldnt tell me why my renewal was 27%higher than the previous year when my car was less valuable and a conviction for speeding had gone from my licence. The second time I called to say that I had gone to another company and not to roll over my policy I was about 32nd in the queue by telephone so went onto live chat, it took almost 10 minutes before I an operative became available. I rated the service poor because 1) I had to wait an unacceptably long time on the two occasions I tried to contact you, 2) The quote was about 27%higher than the previous year for the same car at the same address, 3) The Live Chat operative did not have the knowledge to let me know why the quote had shown such a massive increase to last years price or if they did have the knowledge they chose not to tell me and 4)your quote was uncompetitive about 160 pounds more than the company I went with.

The advisor terminated the live chat before I could get the details that were requested by you. Poor service in all of my correspondence with your company - telephone: email: and Live chat. I regret taking out my motor insurance with this company

I had a couple of VERY aggressive letters asking about my NCD. I did provide the information needed but had NO reply that this was accepted. This was very disturbing. Fortunately Yasmin very kindly sorted everything out, (YD2). I apparently need to update Adobe Acrobat. Yasmin was brilliant.

Initial price was great but I forgot about a claim that was made by my wife and settled by a 3rd party as it was a complete no fault claim. This took place 4years 8 months ago. The resulting oversight has increased my insurance by 12%. Almost half of that is an alleged admin fee because they use telephone lines (their excuse). I would be very careful about the details you add in as there is no leeway for mistakes. All the "helpline" does is keep quoting that it is all documented when you take out the policy.

Did not really answer my question as to getting a quote for the remainder of my policy for a newer car. Quite happy for me to cancel. Web chat not good in general.

Person on line could not provide the answers to my questions. All I wanted wanted was an indication of how the no fault claim will effect my future insurance policy in terms of percent increase of premiums at renewal time, or if the insurance companies regard no fault claims to be neutral at swinging premiums demanded at renewal, all other market forces being applied and fluctuating as they do.
