Hp1 was helpful however I was quoted over £100 to change vehicle on policy for only 2 months remaining therefore got cover elsewhere and cancelled policy unhappy to be told no refund available.

I got a quote. It was good. I took the policy out online. I then phoned my previous insurance company to cancel, at which point previous company improved their quote. I tried to cancel the new insurance with One Call within half an hour of set up and they wanted to charge me £49.99 admin fee! I think that is awful. I have stayed with One Call only because the admin fee is so huge it is not financially viable to change! They won't be getting my busy next year.

I approached One Call for motor Insurance on 22 March. I needed insurance from 1 April. I only received my confirmation today (2 April) after I chased them up through live chat. I expected to have the activation email long before the Insurance actually started. As it is there was some minor concern and anxiety about whether I was covered or not until I chased. Also, the live chat took a long time to get an answer as I was in a queue. But, all sorted once someone came online.

Overall a cheapest option for my car insurance, can't really complain at that, however it was a fairly old car and sadly failed its MOT to the extent that it was going to be written off. Went to claim any remaining refund from the total premium and was told I would be charged the full premium. Very disappointing considering the excessively high premiums across the board of all insurers. A minimal refund would have helped me personally a lot, for what is minimal benefit for them. (Full License, no driving convictions or parking violations, 7 years NCD)

Rang to transfer existing policy to a new car. Two separate emails were never sent to me. Two phone calls and a 'live chat' from me, over 4 days, and eventually my policy was sorted. Communication was not up to standard

Automatically renewed policy without instructions. Phone service is appalling but live chat was really good.

First problem is that they don't have an enquiries number for car insurance on the website. The online chat service is a poor substitute but doubtless they are saving money. What I wanted to know was whether my car insurance policy had actually been set up at all, since no money had been taken from my bank account. Their immediate response via online chat was that the policy had not been set up but they didn't say what to do about it. Then shortly after they responded that the policy had been set up. Maybe it had or maybe it hadn't. No money has left my account so far, but it's possible that this will only happen on the date of the policy starting (7th April). Or possibly not. The only certain way to tell will be if the police stop my car for having no insurance. I forget what the fine for driving uninsured is but they probably endorse your licence too. However I do have a Certificate of Motor Insurance from One Call (actually from Ageas Insurance Limited) which may be all that's needed. Or maybe not? If only One Call Insurance could be bothered to provide a telephone enquiry service this could be resolved very quickly. This company was cheap, but I wouldn't use them again because you don't want to be uncertain about insurance.

I chose the policy on moneysupermarket. The options I wanted were all ticked. I was impressed and took the insurance out. The price was misleading. It appears to be the marketing. I chose based on price. I spent ages going through all the questions and it was only at the very end that what's supposed to be " included " is actually an optional extra. I have just spent ages calling to see what the cooling off period is. It is impossible to get through. yes impossible. I have tried pressing every option and the computerised voice just repeats itself until it cuts off I needed to take out a policy so I continued. However I was very disappointed as the price was different. For example the replacement car only included a car subject to availability. This is no good. not pleaed at all

Complete and utter faff trying to view and print documents. Already decided I won't renew next year because I don't have time for this!

Website bombards you with 'additional extras' when trying to get to the payments section?

Too many sales pitches made to buy extra cover. And the policy is not issued when payment made. Not a great experience

After a 45min call & 4 attempts to make a payment I had to then go on line to pay which again didn’t work. Eventually on the live chat the girl managed to take the payment from my paypal account which wasn’t “working” according to the girl on the phone

Bought another car so needed to change policy. Took 70 min! Phone line told me long wait so went to Internet. Couldn't log on so went to live chat. Filled everything in that it asked and then put me in a queue. When my turn live chat took 45mins.Many of questions asked had already been submitted. Not blaming TB2 but whole thing very slow.Unnecessary!
