I have used one call for quite a number of years for my motor and home insurance but my experience this year with my motor has been terrible spending hours doing an online chat, i bought a new car and wanted to know how much it would cost to amend my existing policy and a quote for a new policy, this appeared to be very difficult. I was told someone would have to ring me regarding a new policy... my phone rang twice a while later and i was not able to answer, i tried a few times to call back and just got cut off each time, back to the dreaded online chat, in the end i took out a new policy with one call but through compare the market as it was much quicker. I have been on today to get a price for adding business mileage as i am volunteering in taking generally the elderly to appointments, i was quoted £55, if I could of done this on the portal it would of been £15 less.. but the system wouldn't let me. I left it for a while and have come back to try and do online chat and the date box will not recognise the date which was in the correct format, tried this about 6 x but no luck, so decided to ring the telephone number i had, but after listening to the spiel and waiting for 15 minutes gave up. Come on one call bring the telephone lines back.

Trying to get in touch I have been late with payment wanted pay extra when i can afford it dont thank me for your loyalty when your not loyal to me

Trying to get hold of an actual human being to speak to is impossible if you have general enquiry. Live chat is clearly understaffed ...... I was 49th on the list of people waiting.

According to the comparison website quote, legal, personal accident, breakdown and courtesy car insurance were included yet I was asked whether I wanted to add them, at extra cost, at the end. Also insurance would have been declined if I had tried to add my daughter as an extra driver. I am not at all happy. Regards Michael White (Mr)

I wanted to do a car change on my policy but ‘the underwriters wouldn’t insure me on this new car’. Obviously this is how your company makes money as now I will have to cancel my policy not getting any refund of money (only 7 months into my contract!) & I will have to pay a cancellation fee! Unbelievable- we are all finding times very difficult financially, I am a retired person with reduced income due to ill health but this is just sad to see & greedy!

I have dyslexia and I could’ve done with a phone call instead of a live chat which you would be losing a lot of business

Operator very polite but I was put on hold SIX times and I was cut off twice. He did phone back on second occasion. And call took at least an hour or possibly longer.

Just want to speak to a human - After waiting 20 mins online chat got cut off and had to do again - asked if a quote from another company could be beat or matched told no. Asked if I could have idea of future oost as moving in about a month possibly and was told no All bit pointless

I took out insurance to commence the following day. The following day I logged into my portal which stated that I was still not insured because you had not processed my documents. This meant I could not use my vehicle. We had a planned trip today which had to be cancelled!! This is the first time that I have experienced this with an insurance company... so I would not recommend using you company ,,, or use you again sorry.

I passed my test and wanted to get a new policy for a qualified driver! Unfortunately your response time was not good enough and I went with admiral who insured me with immediate effect!

Can't talk to a person when renewal time comes along. Texting to the chat line is nit for me, companies need to get their employees back to the office

after trying to contact "one call " 4 times (What a waste of time !)with no reply I left the previous bad review within minutes of this review being posted i had a call from a friendly person apologising however i have lost 2 days not being able to use my car ! I wonder of this company would settle a claim in the same manner ? disapointed Waiting three day for a response after paying in full and with no insurance cover on my car call plus telephone number hidden from web site

Just very disappointed that I couldn't speak to a person. Looked on the website and found a chat online service but I still couldn't get a quote. Can't believe it. I might sell my car & get another and wanted to know the difference in price compared with my existing policy. How much extra I may have to pay. I gave the reg, make & model but was told to go back to the website.. Over an hour I tried but nothing. Rubbish

Pointless having chat line if a simple answer can’t be given about policy details. Was directed to a claims line which I didn’t want.

Great until I purchased another car and wanted to change the insurance over this could not be done and so I am going to be charged £55 to cancel the policy because you could not change it I would have been very happy to just change an carry on with onecall

Spent 40 minutes waiting in a queue, then Just spent 1 hour on live chat trying to change my address on 2 vehicles a very slow drawn out process it was like having teeth pulled, live chat is not the best or maybe it was the operator?

We did not get-together finish went to payment then it cut off I was waiting 30 minutes to get threw I have been a customer for many years insuring tei vehicles every year we purchased a new car yesterday and wanted to change the Insurance over this was unsuccessful we still haven't got it sorted.
