every staff member I spoke to was fine,but unfortunately the system is letting them down,on numerous occasions I tried to make a payment in the portal but it would not allow me too,it would have been easier for me to cancel the policy,cut my losses and go with someone else.

renewal came in an an increased price. shopped around and found a cheaper insurance with identical cover and accepted their offer. Contacted One Call to inform them that i would not be accepting their offer of continued insurance. Could not speak to an operator but had to chat. Agent could not accept the fact that i had moved to another insurance company to renew my insurance and despite telling them proceded to give me an alternative quote which was more expensive that the one that i had accepted. The agents need to listen to what the customer says to them as it is wasting everybodys time. The alternative is like a number of insurance companys is not to increase their policys and then we will stay with them. I had an accident recently and one call and their agents could not have been more efficient. You should not have to barter with an insurance company regarding renewals.

As an insurance broker we work with a number of insurance providers to search the market for the best price and cover for our customers. Insurers do regularly change their prices which can cause fluctuations. We are sorry to hear that we weren't able to beat your alternative price on this occasion. Thanks for the feedback.

Took a very long time to respond to each answer and still didn't resolve my query satisfactorily. So much easier to speak to someone than spend an hour online with no resolution. Have to start process again tomorrow, so not happy!

One Call automatically renewed my home insurance policy and took payment 4 days early for a hugely inflated amount. When I challenged the figure they made it very difficult to refund the payment or discuss policy options. It was only when I asked to cancel did they yield and ended up with a £300 reduction which was great! We could have all saved ourselves time and anger if they just get straight to the point and then this review would have been 5*!!!

Apologies for any inconvenience caused. Payments are processed ahead of the renewal date to ensure that we have cleared funds before renewing a policy. This should have been made clear in your renewal documents. Given you have cancelled ahead of the renewal date a full refund will be issued. I do not like live chat and much press telephone conversation , it took about 20 minutes on line, on the phone would have been 5 minutes. So called live chat not good enough ☹️

Doubt I will renew next year, poor response to requests for amended documents, re registered still no luck. If my docs DO arrive and they are not what was agreed on live chat, I shall be SO annoyed. Any chance of a reply - TO_DAY

The person dealing with the problem was able to resolve it, however the length of time it took by using Live Chat was totally unacceptable. It took over ten minutes with long delays whereas with a phone call of 3-4 minutes would have sufficed. Why any company feels that Live Chat is good beats me - an employer does not get value for money for staff wages due to how long any query takes.
