The normal live chat referred me to the platinum live chat due to my policy (very helpful and polite) Once I got through to the platinum live chat, I found the responses short, sharp and rude. To the point I actually hung up the live chat. Really disappointed as I have always received excellent assistance.

Having paid an extra £96.26 I thought I had insurance to drive my new van home from the dealer . I get home and go on to my online portal only to find my old van details had not changed to my new van I know these are difficult times but this is so frustrating and annoying

I could not change my vehicle on the online portal so had to do a live chat This was very long winded and I started at 32 in the cue Long pauses during conversation you did not have my credit card on file, don’t know why as my insurance automatically renews ,altogether long winded and took me over an hour of my time just to change my vehicle

Two things I am not impressed with. 1. Lack of flexibility over admin. Charge levied re. 5 year history when I omitted to note SP 30 offence which had actually expired but had occurred within the 5 year period. I explained this was a genuine omission on my part and asked if the admin charge could be removed but the response was unfortunately negative. A little more flexibility in circumstances like this wouldn't go amiss. 2. The automatic transfer to Platinum class was not requested by myself. I was not happy that it was suggested that I should phone the people in Platinum Class to discuss my decision to cancel my car insurance when I had already spent 25 minutes in live chat simply wishing to give notice that my car insurance with you was cancelled when the current term expired. No complaints about staff but concerns about being directed to another department simply to cancel a policy.

We have found One Call very frustrating to deal with over the 11 months we have been using them. Today however the adviser JD7 that I dealt with in an online chat was very good. It was a pleasure to finally deal with someone efficient.

Sadly we were charged an extra £39 for administration for a speeding conviction which was almost 5 years old- and by law is only valid for 3 years- but OnCall counts 5 years for some strange reason.

Couldn’t amend vehicle on policy, no explanation why. Was told on web chat that someone would call within 30 mins (need to make change effective today). It’s now 1 hour & 15 mins later & no call!

Got stung with an additional £75.00 fee for making a mistake on my application. I had to make an appeal against this but it was ignored, absolutely no reply. I also used the live chat facility but received no confirmation of what I had requested. The facility to download a copy of the conversation did not work. So you have no record of what has been requsted.

Absolutely atrocious company, only into my 1st week & extra premiums been added to my policy, cancelled today (14 day cooling off period) to be told I’ve got to pay around £55 when I’d already paid £48 deposit, I will never use this company again

Not a great experience. Took 10 separate attempts to get threw, kept getting cut off, could only do it via chat as it's a van, It takes them ages to answer sometimes asking the same question even though I had answered them. So frustrating and now I dont know if I'm covered or not because I got cut off again.. Only want to give you money

I’m new to One Call and was unpleasantly surprised to find an extra £100 deducted from my credit card. I was told this was for an upgrade I had requested which I absolutely had not done. Not a positive start to my association with One Call.

I asked for hard copies ofg my documents since the pdf's avail;able wouldn't print. They just emailed me the same, unprintable, pdf's.

appreciate staffing problems but it is strong I can get strait through to enquiries but to discuss cancelling a policy I become number 9 in the queue

I contacted one call for a copy of my certificate to tax my car They said they would email it but the documents emailed didn’t include the certificate of insurance. When I explained this the adviser said there was nothing further she could do to help me! I said can I speak to someone? I was told no due to Covid-19! Then she asked me if I could send a screen shot when I went back to my emails a third email fad arrived with in the last minute with the certificate of insurance!
