The assistant was fine but I have only given 2 stars as she promised to send a copy of the chat and I have not received it. I have done the online chat again to request it and still have not received anything. I am also disappointed at the cost to change my car when I can get much cheaper elsewhere. So will probably leave onecall for both car and house insurance. A dissapointed customer

D11 you took 30 min to cancel my car insurance I just think it's to long on phone andcharging me to cancel my car insurance I think it's really disgusting this is just another ploy to get money out of customer that's how you loose customers and I won't be recommending you to anyone so that's it done

In terms of insurance they have been fine - no claims made/no issues etc. However, when trying to amend policy with change of address, I found the Live Chat poor. I was timed out several times, despite not leaving the page. The response from the person was slow and at the end I was told to go through another route to make the changes (platinum). Annoyingly, I was taken to the chat from the link on my online policy to amend address!

Using live chat was soooooo slow - took about 45 mins to solve a simple query. Really frustrating that you cannot speak to anyone on the phone.

Very confusing description of cancellation policy and fees via live chat. Unable to cancel policy on new years day after selling car as you were closed with no alternative contact point. There needs to be an option to register a cancellation effective from a fixed time even if you are closed, there is not an email address even!

Had to cancel m/c policy after 5 months due to MOT failure, and was quoted excessive cancellation charges which would have taken the amount required up to a full year. Happily a successful outcome was negotiated by a very helpful agent Tia, but the fact remains the admin charges are outrageous and unfair.

Request for refund not initiated, despite genuine reason for such. Told to contact again Monday to speak with another debt, will still take upto 10 working days, but can take payment anytime they wish

Found One call to be very expensive if you wish to cancel its more than just a £55 cancellation fee !! All fees seem high when making changes to your policy.

Di 1 was very helpful during our chat. the person that attended to me on the 29/12/2020 during the live chat was not helpful. She contributed to me cancelling my policy.

I was astounded that you were going to charge me £39 to change my home address, I the end the portal didn’t work and I paid £24 which is still extortionate for an existing customer. I will certainly think about who I insure my car with next year I’m afraid... very disappointed indeed.

I was advised incorrectly by DR9 in an online chat that I could not run 2 policies, one of which is a learner driver policy against my vehicle. Subsequently after speaking to a member of staff on the quotes team I have an email stating that it is acceptable and an apology for what the chat advisor said. Someone needs some training.

Second time I have asked for proof of my Cars No claim discount so I can send to my next car insurance company Had to wait another 10 mins to chat with someone Tamari or something like that was the persons name. Was informed the "No claim discount proof" will be sent in next ten to 30 mins by email that was about 2 to 3 hours ago. Like I have said this is the second time I have asked for this information was told before it would be up on my account and it is not on my account. Have gave glowing reviews in the past about One Call but now I wonder what is happening. I do not have many days to send proof and or i am working most days to have time to keep going back to "One Call"

Beth difficult to have a discussion via on line text ! Kept cutting out and then having to start over again with a different agent ! Frustrating !!! Then all I wanted to do was cancel my insurance yet I was bombarded with questions as to why I wanted to cancel and could they re quite etc etc etc ! I just want to cancel 😡
