As a family with 2 working nhs staff and possibly infectious uniforms to launder the last thing I needed right now was to get delivery of a damaged dryer, it’s over a month since it came, I have tried every which way to contact curry’s, i get the occasional message from them asking me to DM, PM or email again, this I have done (several times) but nothing has even been read let alone replied to. I know it’s a bad time but looking at the amount of customers on their facebook page with similar problems it’s a complete shambles.

Bought a laptop and when trying to set it up the screen stayed blank. Tried to contact customer services to send it back. Got through to customer services after 1 Hour and 40 minutes on hold only for the guy to hang up. Faced with another 2 hour wait to contact someone tried to get an email address but this has been discontinued. Completely unacceptable level of service even in this situation. It's like they are taking advantage of the shops being closed to avoid speaking to disgruntled customers.

I am disgusted with Currys. I ordered a food mixer and paid extra for next day delivery. Needless to say it didn't arrive. I know things are difficult at this time but there was no mention of..."we will do our best but there is no guarantee " or anything to suggest that they didn't have this covered in their delivery system. Even an email or text saying that the item could not be delivered would have been better than the gaping hole of nothing we received. Had they been honest I would have been able to make an informed choice as to whether to pay the extra money or not.......no they just took the money regardless. Shame on them.

Was advised they would install when reviewing TVs. Bought 65" + wall stand, but wasnt tranferred to book installation as promised. Took 10 HOURS to be told they ARE NOT INSTALLING??? Seems their INTERNAL communications are a mess!!!! Got cut off when their customer services were investigating. I know coronavirus has impacted but THERE IS MORE CHANCE OF GETTING THE VIRUS SHOPPING IN A SUPERMARKET THAN INSTALLING A TV.

i paid for a lawn mower on line in the middle of March still not had it. They did send me a tracking number in the 20th April and said the item will be delivered on the 8th April, they must manufacture time machines now ! I’ve been on the phone on hold in excess of 3 hours which no one answers. I’ve put in two complaints and both times they said they will contact me in 6 days which they didn’t do. They did send me another email saying their complaints system isn’t working properly and they’ll contact me in 24 hours which they didn’t do. I will never spend another penny with them. Before the lockdown I paid to have freezer taken and they charged me £20 for the privilege, a scrap dealer took it in the end. Do yourselves a favour and don’t buy anything from Currys they are a joke.

Customer service is beyond bad, I have had wrong goods delivered and cannot get anyone all day to sort the problem after waiting over an hour to speak to an advisor, as soon as I started complaining they cut me off

Disgraceful. Quick to accept and take orders . But nobody to help if there are problems or returns. Waited over 2hrs on hold twice only to be cut off. Got a reply on fbook messenger to send details which.i did and no reply again. Tried calling again today and waited 80 minutes. Complained to the , Head Office, Govt, Watchdog, etc. I have spent many thousands of pounds over the yrears at Currys. Never again. I have also warned family and friends not to purchase from them.

Refused to pick up an old appliance, even though it was disconnected and outside as requested. It was not on the driver's manifest …… I tried for over 2 hours to get through on their 0344 number. I tried, but could not cancel an ordered item, via their internet site. I could only cancel it by trying to contact their 0344 number which they do not answer. Okay the call centre may have been short staffed due to distancing etc. However, as I supposed tech company (PC World), why were not staff members working from home. I put in three emails to their complaints department and have heard nothing for 16 days. They seem to be floundering and I would not recommend buying anything from them.

Appalling customer service. My son has spent 11 hours on hold. Trying to return an item to which he was eventually told he didn’t need a barcode and when delivery driver turned up he said he couldn’t take it without one. Now their phone line is down and they still have my son’s £200.00. Disgusting service. We will NEVER be buying from them again. Shame on you Curry.

Still waiting for a new washing machine to be replaced. Is Curry's PC World going to the wall ? Seems to be in a right mess no customer service, no phone lines, no emails are they ready to go out of business. Have a look and see who owns Curry's and the money you paid where does it go to.....not Curry's ? They could'nt care less. Will we all end upwith nothing ?

Absolute thieves. Signed me up without my permission or knowledge to a subscription service after purchasing a computer. They have been taking regular payments charged directly to my card. A nightmare to try and cancel! Beware of untrustworthy staff just trying to take your money.

Still waiting for a repaired laptop 9 days after it has been fixed. Message to call regarding delivery - called for 5 15 minutes last Friday before I got an answer told it would be delivered - now a week later still no delivery still no idea when it will come and have waited another 2 hours 5 minutes for someone to answer the phone. The people answering the phone are doing their best but the person in charge of customer service and the CEO should resign - taking CoronaVirus into account this is bad service

Phoned was on hold for two hours as wanted to cancel an order and the website doesn’t allow you to do this you have to call in, each time I called in someone hung the phone up on me, I know everyone is really busy but it would only take them a minute to cancel the order or update the website to allow it.

Ordered an American fridge freezer before the lockdown online, because our old on was FAULTY. Delivery date was available within 3 days. Three days later no fridge freezer, 3 hours on the phone to be told that due to the Virus they were having problems with DELIVERIES, due to staff shortage which is understandable. Then I was promised delivery within 3 days again, guess what happened?? No delivery!! called customer service again 3 hours 24 minutes to get through to be told the same thing, short staffed, then to be told that the can't speak to the distribution centre because if they did they would just tell them to quote 'F@#koff' I was shocked to say the least!! All they could do is rebook it again. 3 days later, No fridge freezer, Ive had enough, why offer delivery slots if they are not available just pure Greed taking money when you know you can't offer the service. I'm never dealing with Currys again. I am not calling them again I have given them 3 opportunities to deliver my item which I think is fair, I have cancelled my payment with the bank and ordered a New fridge freezer with AO.COM and its was delivered in 5 days and the old one taken away great service, they wore gloves and a mask and couldn't be more helpful. Just an observation since!! Currys are still offering installation on most of their appliances TV, s Washers, Cookers ETC. How are you going to offer that with social distancing, probably another way of getting more money off customers knowing they can't provide the service and then customers won't be able to get through to them to get a refund. I would think that under their current situation and with the financial problems they are having, this would be an opportunity to make a name for themselves instead matters have worsened they dont care about customers what so ever. Had my rant now think twice about ordering from Currys read the reviews and take the hint. Thank you AO.COM couldn't have asked for better service. Well done

Many companies are having to deal with the effect COVID-19 is having in regards to orders not being fulfilled or delivery/installation not being completed, but other companies have the courtesy to answer phones, messages and send out courtesy emails keeping customers updated. After spending literally hours on the phone without being able to speak to anyone regarding the delivery of a cooker and to ask why they hadn't informed us they had cancelled installation that we paid £100 for(I fully understand why they can't) or get any response from messages sent to them I can only presume, they couldn't care less about their customers, only the money they get from them. We will never buy from them again. Absolutely incompetent on every level.

On the 16th of March we placed an order for a new oven and paid also for delivery, installation and the disposal of the old oven. However, on the day of the delivery (the 24th of March) we were contacted by the driver to advise that because of the new directions on social distancing, he was not allowed to install the oven nor to collect the old one. As we do undestand that the driver's and our health are far more important than a new oven, we happily asked the driver to cancel the delivery and opted for a full refund. Worthless saying that so far our calls have always been cut off (after over 3 hours waiting on the line) and your website does not allow us to apply for the refund either as it comes up with a message that says" we need a quick catch up" and invites us to call you. For a big company as you are, I would have expected that if YOU are unable to provide the services that your customers have already been paid for, and if you are unable to face the high volume of customer service queries, you would have at least am automatic refund process in place. But no, you just leave us without answers but, even worst, without OUR MONEY. This is called STEALING. Please reinforce your customer services and set up new help lines asap before you really risk to lose forever your customers!!!!
