Bought a washing machine on the 24th of April for my 88 year old mother in law. So far been hung up on 13 times, asked to reply over social media pm, one reply then must have wandered off. She is highly vulnerable and shileded . THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I understand the difficulties with COVD however advertising online services, TAKING THE MONEY then no way AT ALL of getting through and hung up on repeatedly. Reported to facebook also.

Broken washing machine delivered, no response to messages and currently at 13 attempts at calling customer service which keeps hanging up. No refund in sight. Utterly shocking.

Checked a timescale for an oven for our new house and then paid and ordered. Timescale then changed by three months and still no refund despite multiple calls. I've now spent over 7 hours on hold trying to get a refund and am having to go through the bank for a chargeback. All 'no-reply' email addresses, non existent web chat, no social media response and a phone system that doesn't answer or cuts off after 30 seconds. Avoid at all costs

Ordered undercounted freezer on line money was taken instantly, here we are nearly 5 weeks later and have still not recieved the freezer , tried to call on the phone after holding on for 1 hr 43 mins the call was disconnected I am so angry, I have now written a letter of complaint and requested an immediate refund but... After looking at some of the reviews it looks like it's common of curry sauce to give such dreadful service, no need for them to blame it on corona virus because all of the supermarkets appear to be giving an exceptional service.. CURRYS YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES

Customer service absolutely a joke. Wasted 7 hours on 3 occasions and still haven’t managed to get through to the Refunds team. They have cut me off twice and Twitter help is just as bad. Don’t use this company.

Have spent hours on the phone waiting in a queue for currys to answer their phone regarding a tv I ordered mid March which screen was broken on arrival, is just impossible to get hold of them, even tried snail mail - honestly even by Covid-19 standards this is shocking customer service, its a gift for my sons 15th birthday - wont buy from them ever again.

have ordered the Acer All-in-one PC via online on 19th of April and it got delivered on 20th of April. I did unpack the item and started working on it on 23rd of April. But I did straight away found it that the product was faulty ( tremendous amount of fan/ hard-disk noise constantly) and I stopped using it. I have been chasing customer service over the phone and web chat for last three weeks and I was spending more than 15 hours to chase you over the phone but I have had no-luck at all. Each time when I called, my call got transferred to every single department without resolving/making any further actions. I did really got frustrated the way that they handle with customers after they have been sent faulty product. I even have been transferred to technical team for basic trouble shooting and they have not done any magic except the power cycling of my PC. But they have provided me reference number 3471571826 as some sort of record to speak with sales/exchange team. But I still have no success on resolving my issue either by fixing the actual problem or exchanging my faulty product. I am in the process of gathering all the evidence to proceed with legal action as lost many thing due to this incident.

What a shambles. Bought and paid for a fridge/freezer in early March. Was delivered and turned out to be faulty. Went in to store for a refund as I paid cash. Refund paperwork was issued no problem and collection arranged. I was told to bring the paperwork back to the store after collection. Van turned up with new fridge/freezer and put on doorstep. Delivery men had to reload back on to van. Following day the stores shut down. One week later I rang their helpline to be told after 2 hours of waiting that they had no refund facilities and I have to go back to the store!!!! (Incompetent). I wrote to head office and sent copies of my paperwork by signed for delivery. That was a month ago and not heard a thing. I spend between 2 to 3 thousand pound a year with them but never again. Even if it is more expensive on Amazon they have my business from now on.

Terrible customer service. Once they have your money they don't care. They don't deliver when they say they will. They expect you to wait for hours on the phone and still cannot answer any problems. Spend your money elsewhere.

Duplicated an order in error on 10th April due to the Curry's website not working properly. Sent one of the duplicated items straight back and they acknowledged receipt soon after but they haven’t refunded me my money. Customer service line now not operating and they don’t answer phone. Nearly a month later and Curry’s have pretty much stolen £159 of my money. Don’t use them. Shop local. I have already taken this further But want to warn others of how terrible this company is when something goes wrong. Awful company.

Ordered hp 301 ink cartridges. Arrived ok, but wrong product (304)arrived. Could have been my fault clicking on wrong number when listed. I am now on day 4 and numerous unanswered or unintelligible reception on the phone attempting to return and obtain refund. My first experience with Currys online and my last. As a loyal Amazon customer I now know why, seamless service and returns if required. Re covid19 lockdown and store closed, I have now given up and as 71year old retiree, it looks like I will have to take the £25 hit if I cannot return product. If I was CEO of Currys and phoned in this phone service, I would either make drastic changes or resign.

Bought a Google home nest a month ago online decided it was not what I required so I tried to return it, as per customer guidelines. Waited on the phone for hours and no reply then decided to email them. They sent me an email saying they would reply in 24 hours then closedown the email address. I certainly will never use this bunch of con artists again.

Same as everyone else. Bought a TV, wrong one delivered. Contacted Curry’s, answered after 2 hours, agent said they couldn’t help, put me on hold again. Spent another hour waiting, finally spoke to someone who took all the details and then nearly at the end of the conversation put me on hold again, still waiting. 4 hours in total now. Disgraceful!!!

The worst experience with online shopping ever. I ordered microvave on offer and received completely different one. For three days trying contact customer service and nobody can help, one lady even start shouting on me because she was from different departament and she work from home. Sorry but it is not my problem I am key worker and I don’t have that opportunity to stay at cosy home and she still working doesn’t matter where from. Anyway I still didn’t received any bigger help from customer service. Now they offered me refund and I can buy once again my microwave but problem is the offer is finished and price is different !! This is disgusting!! I will never again buy anything from CurrysPCW! It’s deserve for zero star!

The worse customerservice you are ever likely to come across, All of their competitors should be very happy as I can't see how anybody would consider using Currys even if they were giving 50% discounts and vouchers to the Caribbean. I grew a beard in the time it took them to take my call and then watched all of my hair fall out as I was on hold... 3 Hours in total to be told we can't resolve your issue, perhaps you should talk to your bank. This was regarding an order that was cancelled in error by their call centre rep and they then told me my £400 refund had been declined??? How can you take money and then decline to refund it you thieves... Still tryi g to get any response after 10 days. NEVER EVER USE CURRYS!!!

My parents are both elderly and not in the best of health and currently self isolating. They moved just before the lockdown and bought all of their kitchen appliances and TV from Currys. The TV has never worked properly. It switches on whenever it likes and goes to full volume. After my dad spending 2 hours on hold to get through to customer services he was advised to reset and basically fobbed off. It still doesn't work and they have now been told that it will be collected in 7-10 days and they will then need to wait up to 2 weeks for a refund. The customer service is appalling

Same experience as other reviewers: Bought a faulty laptop on line from Curry’s, spent several hours in phone queues only to be cut off, chat say that “it’s not showing up in the system” even though the DPD tracker confirmed that it had been delivered to Curry’s three days ago. Email bounced back. Nightmare experience, not resolved yet.

Should be able to give Zero stars. Been trying to do a return ALL DAY. They have closed on-line chat. They have removed email address. They have no on-line returns facility. You have to ring. 2 hours+ on hold, then they hang up on you!! One person I did manage to speak to seemed to just be having a laugh at my expense.... Abysmal service, will never use Currys again, hope they go bust. Oh, but sales line is still open if you want to get yourself caught in this trap
