The delivery address was incorrect and there was no way for me to update in a timely manner. I tried to log a customer service query and it took over a month to get back to me. When they finally did reply I was told I could have £13 credit despite having paid £20 for the original purchase. I will never be using Cutter and Squidge again and will be recommending anyone else to avoid as well.

We've bought a few purchases from Cutter and Squidge, and have been happy with all but one delivery. We sent some scones to a dear friend who was just out of hospital and the scones arrived incredibly stale and inedible.Luckily we'd also sent her flowers.

Had 3 orders - 1 arrived in a hello kitty box which was not ordered, one arrived late and the other was fine.The biskies were much smaller than they looked. Wouldn't use again.

The quality of taste that arrived was excellent and delicious but unfortunately the appearance is so poor that I have to give a low score for their service. Having enjoyed the cake I bought for her birthday, my sister returned the gesture to me for Christmas and sent some treats by mail. What arrived was half of what she was charged (12 instead of 24 arrived) and they looked nothing like the picture advertised. The selection was clearly limited when they packed it so they put in whatever they had. If you cannot supply what you have sold people, then don’t sell it. Mark it as unavailable or sold out. She then had 3 more orders to friends and colleagues which have also arrived incorrectly. One example is a mixed box of gingerbread which should have been gingerbread family, Christmas trees and snowflakes. It arrived as a jumble of trees, not even carefully packed and presented, and one gingerbread man. It’s fine to order if you don’t care what you get, you’ll enjoy the taste. But don’t order anything if you’ll be disappointed by what actually arrives, particularly if it’s a specific gift.

Unfortunately the cake was a total letdown, the unflavoured buttercream completely overpowered the salted caramel taste, they were 6 of us who tried the cake and not one of us liked it, it was absolutely horrible and was thrown away with over three quarters remaining

I received the wrong cake. I emailed, rang, tried the chat bot and eventually had a response via email. I then had to follow up a further 3 times. It’s taken 16 days to resolve

Unfortunately, due to COVID 19 we have been running at a smaller number of staff and higher volumes which meant it has taken longer than our usual standard time to get back to you. As a small family run business we do appreciate your custom and cannot apologise enough for the mistake during packing and for the delay in customer service. Unfortunately the cake had not been baked properly and was still raw in the middle. The cake also had very little taste. I obtained a refund and would not purchase another cake based on the quality of this one and the very high price.

I have spent £20 but never received my order, have sent numerous emails and am being ignored, such a shame as I have used before but unless my complaint is resolved, or even responded to (would be nice) I will never be using them again, neither will my work, family or friends.

We received the cakes at 4.57 which was outside of the 1-4 delivery time frame which was a real disappointment considering it was already 5 days late. I never like to complain but the whole experience of the delivery has not been great as we originally expected it to arrive on Tuesday, then Thursday and then when it finally arrived on Sunday. We really were considering ordering a 4 tier cake from cutter and squidge for our wedding but the unreliable nature of the whole experience has just really put us off. Hi Sophia, We are very sorry to see you were unhappy with this process, this is not our intention. I wanted to reply back to explain the situation with the wedding cake samples and why there was a delay. Due to a change in design and packaging delay due to COVID 19 we informed all our customers that ordered for that week there would be a delay. My colleague Verity confirmed when they would be sent out in the end on Sunday. I understand the delivery was 54 minutes late due to heavy traffic on the roads that day. With our wedding cakes, we make sure that these are delivered on time with a separate service we provide for them. Again, I am sorry for the first experience you have had with us but as a small family run business we do appreciate your customer and have e-mailed you separately with an apology. kindest Team C&S

Just look at the feed of emails for this transaction. Took over a week to deliver for several errors on your part and systems. Customer services were helpful and refunded in full and gave me a voucher but not a great service to recommend. Hoping your better next time . Catherine

Never actually received it. Paid for it. Poor customer service made it impossible to get in touch with anyone to make alternative plans after lockdown. No answer to calls, no response to emails. Would never recommend.

We use third party couriers such as parcel force and DPD who send tracking information with an ETA and you should also receive a text message. HORRIBLE & DISAPPOINTING experience! 1) NOT RELIABLE - ordered cake for special event, however, was not delivered on requested date. 2) HEALTH & SAFETY CONCERNS - company suggested to re-delivery SAME cake after failed delivery 2 days after despite confirming that it is no longer safe for me to consume it as a pregnant woman. At the same time, refused to make a new cake. 3) FRAUDULENT - never received my cake - company refuses to refund money.
